This season’s expanded Perth Piano Sundays are an enticing blend of the familiar and the new. One of the world’s great musicians, Steven Kovacevich, opens the series and we welcome Piano Sundays newcomers Juho Pohjonen and Martin Roscoe. There are returns for Perth favourites Steven Osborne, Alasdair Beatson and Llŷr Williams, and at the core of the series are three piano based programmes around Myths of Eastern Europe led by the brilliant young pianist James Baillieu, presented in association with BBC Radio 3.
