Villa Padierna Thermas Hotel and Piroche Cosmétiques have joined forces to launch a unique and effective detox & fitness programme. It is meant for those who want to benefit from following a low-calorie diet, plus fitness activities, plus detox treatments and/or who want to lose some weight in a short period time. The common aim is that of gaining more vitality, a younger look, and a stronger health. Our DETOX&FITNESS programme is based on the combination of the following elements:
HOT SPRINGS
Our renowned medicinal mineral waters, with sulphur and calcium. The waters are taken in baths, in drinking cures and inhaled. Carratraca’s waters are generally acclaimed by its reinvigorating effects on the immune system and by its main component’s detoxing power: the sulphur. Besides, they serve to improve from several skin, rheumatic and dental diseases. There are also many described cases that emphasize its usefulness to favour fertility.
THERMAL TREATMENTS Spa treatments. The procedures are varied: baths, jets, Scottish shower, steam bath, Roman bath, drinking cures. Manual (massage) therapies are also used to reinforce the effects of thermal cures.
HEALTHY DIET A healthy diet that follows closely the macrobiotic cuisine fundamentals in order to detox the body, whose principal and distinctive ingredient is Carratraca’s mineral medicinal water. Our chef uses natural ingredients and cooking methods that strengthen food taste and flavour while keeping calorie intake under control, focusing also on dish presentation. The detox diet provides 600 to 1.200 calories daily, according to the client’s needs and wishes. Diet is complemented by a comprehensive daily programme with mental and physical activities developed indoor or outdoor weather permitting.
