Georgie's Alibi of Wilton Manors (2266 Wilton Dr.) has been a mainstay in the Broward County gay community for the past nineteen years. Opened in a time when only a handful of gay businesses existed on Wilton Drive, Georgie's helped pave the way for other businesses to join them on the drive, eventually making the area one of the gay nightlife hotspots in South Florida. Under new ownership for the past 2 years, Georgie's is n o w of f i c i a l l y k n o w n a s G e o rg i e's Alibi/Monkey Bar. The weeklong celebration of their 19th anniversary started yesterday, but continues on Friday with their very popular Growl Fridays with DJ AJ Reddy in the main room and Noche Sucia with DJ Duniel Juan in the Manchester room. On Saturday, September 10, they start the day with “Drag Yourself to Brunch” with show times at 1, 2, and 3. Then, Jennifer McClain goes live in the Manchester room from 8-11pm. In the main room, catch DJ Latrice Perry take over at the turntables at

9pm. On Sunday, September 11, they feature Jazz Brunch with Lenore Jaye from 12pm to 3pm and then the 11 year running Trannie Palace at 11pm. Monday, September 12 is turnabout (see more below). On Wednesday, September 14, they end their weeklong celebration of their 19th anniversary with Dame Edna's Broadway Cabaret (with celebrity impersonator Michael L Walters) with a special show at 9pm following Tony and Gloria. Alibi has become famous for their turnabout, so much so that almost every other bar has followed in their footsteps. This is an event that is so good, I always make it a must to attend. This year the theme is “Mutual of Homo-Ha's: Wild and Fabulous Kingdom.” The turnabout will be hosted by Scot Newell and Barry Browder and they invite the entire community to come out and see your favorite Alibi staff members in drag for an amazing Safari event. Turnabout is always a benefit and this year, the charities that will receive the proceeds are: Safe Schools South Florida and

the World AIDS Museum and Educational Center. There will be a 50/50 raffle and an extensive Silent Auction, which starts at 7:30pm. The Safari starts at 9pm. I asked Scot Newell who, in addition to hosting, is producing the event, to tell me more about turnabout and this year's events in particular. He said: Producing a show like the Alibi/Monkey Bars' Annual Turnabout is such an interesting – sometimes frustrating – and always hysterical process. Our “Turnabout” – where the staff dresses up in drag and puts on a show to help raise money for local charities, is one of the longest continuously running shows of its type in Wilton Manors. Several years ago, my insane friend and co-worker, Eric Brano, got ahold me and suggested that we should try to give the event more structure. I have a strong theatrical background and worked in production Off –Broadway for years … so I said “Why Not? – Let's come up with something”. That's how the “Miss Alibi Turnabout Pageant” got started. From there, the Turnabout event started to grow bigger every year. The staff really jumped on board and actually started to get rather involved. We've added sets and lighting, a Silent Auction, we've done Red Carpet receptions, VIP tables, and of course major corporate sponsorship – which helps tremendously to make the night special.

Every year we try to come up with something different. A lot of other clubs had started their own “pageants” so we let that idea go. Last year we presented a Reality Talk Show format with “The Really Desperate Drag wives of Wilton Manors”. That was an insane show!!! And so much fun! This year I was at a loss for something original – hence the frustration. I would search social media for what was trending. I looked at popular music and movies for ideas all the while looking for something that we could make into

an original production. Then one night while wide awake at 3am (after work) – it came to me – a “Jungle” theme!! I have to admit –it takes more than one person with insomnia to make this show come together. Once I came up with the idea, I start bouncing ideas off my co-workers and that's when we start with the craziness! Barry Browder is our resident VJ – and my co-host this year – and he always comes up with great music and video clips that help the production come together. Eric Brano has always been the first one on the Turnabout bandwagon and adds so much behind the scenes, as well as keeps us laughing at his crazy outfits. I tell Bryon Richardson some rough ideas and he just produces gorgeous print ads for the event.

Really, the whole staff is involved in one way or another. Obviously, the ones that get made up in drag and stand on that stage and perform are the real stars. Without them, there would be no show. But it's the bartenders – who donate a portion of their tips – to the guys who organize and run the silent auction; the wait staff who dress up; the security staff; and of course the management and the owners who allow us the venue to do this … They all are a part of this production and fundraising event. I just somehow landed in the drivers' seat and get a kick out of watching all come together. And of course handing a local organization(s) a nice big check at the end of the day gives one a sense of pride and accomplishment for the better good.

Georgie's Alibi/Monkey Bar is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday-Saturday. Season 2 Tatianna

In Week 2 of RuPaul's All Stars Season 2, there was no mini challenge as the main challenge was most of America's favorite and definitely my favorite challenge: Snatch Game. This season the contestants came as: Tammie Faye Baker (Ginger), Mae West (Alaska), Bjork (Katya), Teressa Caputo (Phi Phi), Joan Crawford (Alyssa), Nancy Grace (Detox), Arianna Grande (Tatianna), Alaska 5000 (Roxxxy). In the end, the winners were Katya and Alaska, with a special honorable mention for Alyssa. The bottom three were Roxxxy, Tatiana and Detox. Alaska won the Lip Synch for

Legacy and the $10,000 and decided to send the weakest link of that week home, Tatinna. It was a pleasure to sit down with Tatianna, who we know we will be hearing a lot more from in the near future, for this exclusive Hotspots Interview:

How has your life changed since you were on Drag Race?

At first, when I got on for season 2, I was just excited to be on TV and work with RuPaul. Since then, I've made drag my career full time. Drag Race gave me a platform and amazing opportunities.

What has been some of your favorite cities to visit as a RuPaul Alumni?

I love anywhere in Texas and will take up any excuse to go back to Porto Alegre in Brazil. They had the most amazing food and everyone was so nice!

How exciting was it to get called back for All Stars?

my costumes custom designed. Everything was on a much larger scale.

I was super excited, but secretly expecting I would get the call.

Now that you have been eliminated, who do you want to win?

Did you consider not coming back and if so what made you come back?

What's Ahead for Tatianna?

Never. I wanted to come back. It's just a tremendous platform and not an opportunity I wanted to pass up.

How did you prepare differently for all stars than you did the first time on the show?

This time I actually had costumes to pack. For season 2, I had a week to get prepared and just raided American Apparel and Wet Seal. For Drag Race All Stars Season 2, I had

Katya. She deserves this!

I'm thinking about getting in the studio to drop a new album, so look out for that. Other than that, I'm constantly traveling and performing drag. Come check me out! For those of you who don't remember, David Hernandez is not only one of the hottest contestants ever to grace the American Idol stage, he is also one of the most talented. His beautiful voice and handsome looks made him one of the highlights of Season 7 for this American Idol fan or fanatic, they both fit. What I didn't know was what a nice and fun soul he is. David sat down with Hotspots Magazine for this exclusive interview.

When was the first time you sang in private and in public? Do you remember the songs? I was 6 years old and I wouldn't shut up, so my mom and grandfather took me for an audition for a theater company and I sang “I will Always Love You by Whitney Houston. I killed it and I got the job. That's when I got the acting/singing bug. However from the age of 9 until 17 I lived with dad and the music thing kind of took a back burner. We didn't have a lot of money and when I started going to school, a lot of kids teased me for wanting to be in the performing arts. It was n o t consider e d a

very "manly" thing to do so I followed in my brother's footsteps and played sports. Hated it…lol.

What professional singing experience did you have before American Idol? I didn't really, I was self-taught until 19 and then I started taking Speech Level training with Satyam Patel. I was signed to Universal Records, but that only lasted for 2 years. The deal fell through because we didn't share the same vision. Shortly after that I auditioned for Idol, and that was the catalyst for my career.

What made you audition for American Idol? I didn't want to audition, but my manager at the time convinced me to. I was in a dark place, due to the record deal falling through, but the thought of being exposed to 35 million people convinced me to give it a shot. Obviously I am glad I did; I made the top 12 and have been able to use that platform to make and release music.

pitched a couple songs for me to record, and this one stood out. Mark Grilliot was the producer and he also co-wrote the song. It just immediately spoke to me and I could see how people would relate.

The Video for Beautiful is also amazing. Tell us about the making of the video? First, I was very excited that Printz Board of the Black Eyed Peas directed the video. In the video I wanted to show that different races, ethnicities, etc. can come together and be accepted. I also wanted to show different shapes and sizes of people and how they are all beautiful. All the actors in the video volunteered their time. The main message of

How did American Idol change your life and who are you still close with from the show? I have met some of the most amazing people through Idol. Michael Orland, Debra Byrd & Dorion Holley were instrumental in guiding me through the beginning stages of my career. Mikalah Gordon had a crush on me is now one of my best friends. Haha! I am also friends with Brandon Rogers, Syesha Mercado & Ramiele Malubay to name a few.

What have you been up to the last few years? I have been touring a lot and putting music together. I released an EP "I Am Who I Am" a few years back and also joined a production cast which kept me busy for a while. I have grown so much personally and musically since then so my music changed. I am excited for this new single, "Beautiful" and also the album.

I hear you are now out and proud, so are you single or taken? I am currently dating someone but I like to keep it private for obvious reasons.

the video is love and acceptance and just being true to who you are regardless of your flaws. I think the world needs more of that.

What do you do for fun? What I do for work is fun for me, but when I do have some downtime from work, I enjoy going to shows. However, I cannot think of a better job to have.

What's ahead for David Hernandez?

I was able to get an early preview of your new single “Beautiful,” what a great anthem this is going to be. How did this song come together?

I am currently in the studio in hopes of making a full length album. I would like to get back into acting class and have some opportunities for film. However, right now I am focusing on the single and music video as I think it has such an important message for everyone. We are all on this Earth for such a short time….we might as well accept and love one another.

The song was pitched to me by my booking agent, Stephen Ford. Stephen was approached by Joe Fontaine who had

Julie Goldman hosts the

Stand-up veteran will have everyone in stiches ate last month, The LGBT Visitor Center announced the nominees th for the 4 Annual Pink Flamingo Awards, which honor the best of the best in the LGBT community each year. This year's awards will be held at Jungle Island on Thursday September 22 from 7-10 pm. Each year, the Pink Flamingo Awards is hosted by a funny homo, and this year is no exception. Julie Goldman is currently a series regular on the runaway hit series on BRAVO, “The People's Couch”, and co-host of the “Vanderpump Rules After Show”. She was a star of LOGO'S Big Gay Sketch Show, and currently a cast member of LOGO'S Gay Skit Happens. She is a former comedy writer for E's “Fashion Police” with Joan Rivers, winner of the NEWNOWNEXT – Brink of Fame Comic Award, and the MAC Award for Best Headlining Comedian in NYC. Julie has appeared doing standup Comedy Specials on LOGO, COMEDY CENTRAL, SHOWTIME, OXYGEN and AXS TV. It was great to chat with Goldman when she spoke to us in this Hotspots exclusive interview.

don't die from having so much fun!

Well you are definitely going to get laid! Uh, right! With all men…YES! It should be interesting with the gay guys. The guys are so much fun. Seriously, they are just SO MUCH FUN! So, I know it's going to be great!

How did you get your start in comedy?

I hear you are about to go to Europe for a couple of weeks. Is this a vacay?

Well, I, for whatever reason, and I don't know what… I was compelled at an early age to perform. I would reenact movies and force my family to watch. Then, I took an improv class in temple, I went to Hebrew School. So I took this improv class with an improv teacher named Gene Traunstine who then introduced us to standup comedy. I saw the standup, this was when I was like 14, and I like was OBSESSED! And then, these guys came and did standup at our temple named Tony V and Mike Bense from Boston. After the show, I went up to them and was like: “How do you do that? I want to do standup.” So he said, “Why don't you come down to the Comedy Connection and I'll put you on stage for 5 minutes? So 6 months later, I went and started doing it and I've never stopped! So I've been doing it since I was about 15 technically.

I'm going to work on an Atlantis Cruise, the gay cruise company, so that should be super fun. Hopefully I

Well my next question is which did you know first, that you were a lesbian or that you were funny but if

you were that young, I would guess that it was funny first? That's pretty subjective, but I certainly thought I was funny. So I think because I was exposed to comedy so young… I wish that I had grown up more recently because kids are coming out now in kindergarten. It's really amazing.

I know, it really is great that many kids feel safe to come out so early now. I was a lot older than that, but once I came out, did I EVER DO IT RIGHT! Yeah, that's the thing, once you come out it's like (sings) “I'm going to make up for lost time.” And you like, really, REALLY do it right. You gotta really do it. You've got years and years to make up for… We all did it that way.

As a standup comedian, I'm sure you are on the road a lot, where is your favorite place to play? I think my favorite places, at least so far are Boston, New York, and Los Angeles. Those have been my favorite places. But there have definitely been some surprises, like I've been to places that I thought were going to be terrible and it was great and I loved it. And places where I thought would be great and were terrible. But Boston's where I'm from so every time I go back to New England I find that those audiences are great. New York is always amazing and a challenge. LA can be really super fun because for the most part

here, people here expect TV ready Hollywood style stuff and I just like to go and dyke around and be like: How's this for TV… (fart noise) pu$$y stuff. You know what I mean, I have fun.

Do you get down to South Florida often? I have defintely been a handful of times. I have performed in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, St. Petersburg, and Fort Myers. So I've definitely done Florida and I do really enjoy it down there. Obviously Miami is where it's at. Fort Lauderdale is super fun too, but Miami is just so exciting and… GAY!

When you think of Miami, what images come to mind? Speedos, G-String bikinis, tan people, Cuba!

You know that we have topless beaches here in Miami right? You might want to spend some time at the beach when you get here. Oh, I didn't know that. So it's just like across the board topless ladies? Ok so boobs! D!cks in little bathing suits, the beach… I have a friend who's dad lives there, so I have also just been there, just to spend time and visit and it's just super fun, it's great. The bars, really great places to hang, great gay nightlife, all the beautiful hotels. It's a fun city I think.

How did you get involved with the Pink Flamingo Awards? Lori Lynch called me out of the blue, and she just explained to me what it was and asked me to do it and I said yes! I am pretty easy when it comes to booking me so I jumped right on it.

Well, thanks so much for talking to me before you go have all that fun on your big two week gay cruise. Where I will probably die from…partying.

When it's over you are going to be like “I don't want to talk to a gay man for at least a month.” I know… I'm going to come back and be like “OH, GOD!” But of course, you are welcome for the interview. Lori was so F'ing cool, sometimes you just… click. You hate to say no to people but it has to be done. But you know that there is something that happens when you talk to people and realize, this is going to be fun. I'm going to make this happen. I haven't met her, but I saw the video and I was like this chick has it going on. The show looks like fun, with a community that's fun and that's something I can't wait to be part of.

Voting is now open for the 4th Annual Pink Flamingo Awards. To vote or to get tickets and more info, visit PinkFlamingoAwards.com. A quick google search of Julie Goldman is guaranteed to keep you laughing for hours!

Food For Thought

By Ian Maloney

“... it was time to check out what was going on at Village Pub, which has been a staple bar in Wilton Manors since it opened about 4 years ago.”

A

little over a month ago, Village Pub introduced their Pub Grub in hopes of giving locals and tourists something that was missing on the drive- familiar foods, freshly made! Last week, it was time to check out what was going on at Village Pub, which has been a staple bar in Wilton Manors since it opened about 4 years ago. Luckily, I was able to get one of the coveted parking spots behind the building, so I came in through the back and noticed that they are using their dance floor as a make shift dining room, and they also have space available at high top tables offering guests the choice to sit inside or out. Food is also, of course, available at any seat at the bar. The menu is divided into small bites, lite bites, wabbit bites, big bites, veggie bites, and bar bites… are you sensing a theme here?

2283 Wilton Drive

We got things started with the Charcuterie, which is found in the bar bites section. You can choose from a small ($6) or a large ($12) If you are ordering anything else, I definitely recommend the small portion, as you will soon see, a second theme at Village Pub is that the portions are rather generous! The charcuterie is served with pepper jack and cheddar cheese, pepperoni and salami, crackers and is topped off with yummy fresh fruit. From the small bites section, we noticed the tenders ($6.50). These same tenders are offered on the big bites section where you will get an extra tender (3 instead of 2) for $8.50. Since there were two of us dining we decided to get the larger portion, and when I say large… These tender panko breaded tenders were cooked to perfection, well-seasoned, and served with a pair of dipping sauces. We tried the ginger orange sauce, sweet hot mustard, and we even

asked for an extra, the beer barbecue. All three were fantastic but I liked the sweet hot mustard the best, but I do have a weakness for Asian so that might explain it. We also tried small orders of the sea salt fries ($3) and the pub tots ($3). The fries were served just like I like my men; big and cut thick, like steak fries. The tots were delicious as well! Since we are gluttons for punishment, we decided to also try the Black Forrest Villager ($11) and the Underdog's Dog ($8) and for good measure, the chef sent out a Cluck You, Henny! ($8) for us to gorge ourselves on. The Black Forrest Villager is a mouthwatering char-grilled burger topped with bacon bits, ham, melted bleu cheese, and

topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions and a bleu cheese ranch aioli. It's a heart stopper, and my fellow diner Anthony commented “This is definitely a contender for best burger on the drive!” The Underdog's Dog is a foot long ½ pound all beef wiener just like you might find on Coney Island. It's topped with Cony Island sauce (beanless chili) and served with a pair of pickles. Who can resist a foot long wiener? Anthony and I split it and it surely filled us both all the way up! The Cluck You, Henny! is a chicken breast sandwich topped with homemade guacamole, jalapeño and corn salsa, and roasted tomatoes. Just like the tenders I mentioned above, you can have the chicken panko battered and fried or you can choose grilled chicken. Either way, if you are in the mood for chicken, this is the way to go. Co-owner Greg Phelps (according to him, no relation to Michael) stopped by the table to check on us and told us that the management team is very happy with the menu and they are still working out the kinks but things are going great. The kitchen is open till 1 am, and during the high season, they may consider staying open till later just to provide one more option to those looking for a late night bite on the drive.

Stop in Village Pub and try their new Pub Grub, and make sure to tell them Hotspots! sent ya.

Not in My Town WORLD PREMIERE OF MATTHEW SHEPARD MUSICAL DRAMA IN SEPTEMBER at FAU and Broward Center South Florida company Opera Fusion Inc. will perform the world premiere of its fullproduction Matthew Shepard musical drama, “Not In My Town,” on Saturday, Sept. 24, and Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at Florida Atlantic University's Boca Raton campus, and then again at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, Sept. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 1.

“Not In My Town,” written by Fort Lauderdale, Fla., composer and librettist Michael W. Ross, is the story of the events surrounding the 1998 murder of Shepard, the gay Wyoming college student who was beaten and left tied to a fence. The heroine of the “Not In My Town” story is Romaine Patterson, Shepard's friend and now an LGBTQA rights activist and radio personality. She organized counter-protests — with peaceful protesters clad in angel-wing costumes that blocked hate mongers and their signs — after the Westboro Baptist Church and Rev. Fred Phelps began picketing Shepard's funeral and the subsequent trial of his killers. “It is so imperative that works like 'Not In My Town' be shared to ensure that people understand the real impact of bias crimes in

America,” said Patterson, who lives in New Jersey now. “Matthew wanted to live his life helping others. We must all learn from Matthew's story, and strive to be more kind to one another. I am honored to be a part of 'Not In My Town' because the fine arts serve as a strong and beautiful tool for education.” The first two shows of the world premiere will be presented on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at 3 p.m., at Florida Atlantic University's University Theatre on the Boca Raton campus at 777 Glades Road, in Boca Raton, Fla. These performances, sponsored by FAU's Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, will be the culmination of FAU's celebration of International Peace Week 2016. Peace Week is organized by FAU's Peace, Justice and Human Rights Initiative and will include a series of peace-related lectures and events starting on the United Nations Day of Peace on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016. Tickets are $20 for either show at FAU; to order, visit FAUEvents.com. The following weekend, the world premiere continues with two shows at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 S.W. Fifth Ave., Fort

Lauderdale, Fla. The performances are at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, and 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016. Tickets start at $35, and can be ordered via the Opera Fusion website, OperaFusion.org. All the Opera Fusion singers are professionals from South Florida. Patterson's role will be sung by soprano Robyn Marie Lamp, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla. Shepard's role will be sung by tenor Ryan Townsend, of Coral Gables, Fla. “Not In My Town” director and production designer is bass-baritone Ardean Landhuis, of West Palm Beach, Fla., who also sings the part of Dennis Shepard, Matthew Shepard's father. The production's composer and librettist is Michael W. Ross of Fort Lauderdale who has

held positions at New York City Opera, Glimmerglass Opera and The Sylvia and Danny Kaye Playhouse, and also has sung with the Opera Company of Philadelphia, New York City Opera, DiCapo Opera and Opera Orchestra of New York. As part of its campaign to mount “Not In My Town,” Opera Fusion is using the hashtag #IAmMatthew on social media.

Inside & Out

Hollywood

By Billy Masters

“I

//Hugh Grant//

look like a scrotum now."-Hugh Grant discusses the downside of being 55 years old. But he also had difficulties with his looks when he was younger. "I remember when I used to go on a French exchange in Paris and all the locals called me 'mademoiselle' because they thought I was a girl." At least he didn't look like a girl with a scrotum! I read a provocative headline last week: "Leonardo DiCaprio Passes Hillary Clinton To Justin Timberlake". I had visions of them all at a key party - you know, when you toss your key in a bowl and randomly pick your next sexual partner. Well, it happens at parties I go to! Anyway, turns out that DiCaprio was supposed to host a Clinton fundraiser in Hollywood. For reasons too murky to go into here, Leo passed hosting duties along to Justin Timberlake. Talk about swapping up! It's been an up-and-down couple of weeks for Ryan Lochte. I know this will shock you, but I feel sorry for him. I'm not excusing him, but it's not like he was Tonya Harding handing someone a crowbar! A far greater crime was that terrible hair at the Olympics someone ought to prosecute him for that. He's signed on to compete on the new

//Robert Supulveda// season of "Dancing with the Stars", and that might garner him a bit of public support. And he certainly needs a paycheck, since his four endorsement deals have fallen through. But there's some good news - Ryan has been signed as spokesperson for my cough drops of choice Pine Bros. The cough drop company said, "Just as Pine Bros. is forgiving to your throat, the company asks the public for a little forgiveness for an American swimming legend". But I've come up with a better slogan - Coat your throat with Ryan Lochte and Pine Bros. Logo has finally confirmed something I told you weeks ago - that Robert Sepulveda is the star of their upcoming dating show, "Finding Prince Charming", which debuts on September 8th and will be hosted by Lance Bass. Now, I'm not exactly sure who is the prince and who is doing the looking. Is Robert Prince Charming? Or is he looking for his Prince Charming? Perhaps he'll open the show by singing, "Someday my prince will come" - which could have all sorts of new implications for a gaggle of gay guys! As I previously told you, Sepulveda had a past but I had no idea how colorful it was. I knew that he had been cast on Bravo's "Most Eligible - New York" back in 2011. I also knew that he had some sort of a relationship with designer Marc Jacobs. But now we've discovered that his past also

includes a foray into the world's oldest profession. Far be it from me to cast aspersions on a hooker. After all, he's hot and was able to get paid for it - good for him. This was back around 2006 in Fort Lauderdale - which fits the details of his life we already know. He was working under the name Vincent Romen and was advertising on the now-defunct Rentboy.com. We also know that he was charging $250 an hour, $1,500 for an overnight. With those prices, he's gonna break Logo's budget! What do they get for that money? Well, he describes himself as being well endowed and from the rather graphic photos that have fallen into our hands, he's much more than a handful. Not only does he have a big one, but he might very well be a big dick, too. One reviewer (yes, hookers get reviews) claims that Sepulveda refused to see him, saying, "I don't like African-American men"! This does not bode well for the three black contestants! But, you can skip the show and see every inch of him on BillyMasters.com. Little Jaden Smith is topping his dad, so to speak - he's kissing a guy in the musical series "The Get Down", which is Baz Luhrmann's project on Netflix. In the teaser clip that just went online, Jaden is at a gay bar (bear in mind he's 18) and kisses Noah Le Gros. The irony is that his dad, Will Smith, famously refused to kiss another guy in the film "Six Degrees of Separation" - saying, "I can't be kissed, because it will gross out my fans.

//Jaden Smith//

Our "Ask Billy" question comes from Roger in London: "Have you watched any of 'Celebrity Big Brother' [UK]? There are a couple of hot guys, and I hear Lewis Bloor just showed his penis. Could you track it down? This column is filled with people I've never heard of. And here's another one. Lewis Bloor is known for being on one of those "scripted reality shows" called "The Only Way is Essex". The 26-year old is awfully handsome, has a great body, and, as it turns out, an amazingly large penis! Before leaving the Big Brother house, he decided to flash his housemates and he made sure he was erect when he did it! He may be a foreigner, but you won't need a passport to see him on my site. When we're delivering the BIG in "Big Brother", it's definitely time to end yet another column. This week, I'm on the West Coast on the final dates of The Go-Go's farewell tour. I'm sure I'll have something to say about that next week on www.BillyMasters.com - the site that ain't going anywhere! If you have a question, send it along to me at Billy@BillyMasters.com, and I promise to get back to you before we find out how many contestants on "Finding Prince Charming" were also hookers! Until next time, remember, one man's filth is another man's bible.

When Spanish speakers hear the word Mexico, it reminds them of the famous saying Mexico Lindo y querido (Beautiful and dear Mexico). Mexico is very rich in culture and tradition and is made up of 32 states including The Federal District, its capital. The country also has some other famous states like: Baja California, Chihuahua, Oaxaca, Puebla, Quintana Roo, Veracruz, Yucatan, and Zacatecas.

Gay Pride

Spartacus

All across this beautiful nation, natural wonders and tourists destinations abound. However, in Mexico, the most importnant natural resource is the people. Mexicans are very unified, tight and close, and they always like to keep a smile on their face, which makes the country unique, its optimism. Mexico celebrates its independence from Spain next week on September 16. Each year, the people of Mexico City gather in the main square, The Zocalo, for the Cry of Freedom-we all know it: Que Viva Mexico! When referring to Mexico's LGBT community, it's worth pointing out that it has evolved on a grand scale recently despite the rejection by society since the time before the arrival of the Europeans. The LGBT community in Mexico is on a great path now, which is helping in the fight against violence, discrimination, and inequality. That very community was dealt a huge win when marriage equality was approved in 2009 making it the first Latin American country to approve marriage of members of the same gender. Mexico is a great place to visit, as long as you always take necessary safety precautions. The country offers a diverse plethora of majestic places to visit throughout its 32 states. The country takes up a huge swath of North America. Along its northern border, it joins the United States, and in the south it borders Guatemala and Belize. Along its extensive coastline you will find 440 beaches, where you can enjoy famous spots like: Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and many more.

Gay nightlife in Mexico is fantastic! It should definitely be on your list of countries you must visit. You can find some of the most famous gay clubs the world over there, like Club Spartacus, Dance Floor, and too many more to list here. As to historical and archaeological heritage, Mexico has registered about 20,000 significant Pre-Colombian archaeological sites like the Aztec and Mayan Pyramids scattered across the country. These sites are one of the most interesting aspects found in the country and are so popular; they help make Mexico one of the top places to visit forArcheology and History buffs. The country is known globally for its legendary and successful movie business and for its passionate Telenovelas or soap operas. These movies and shows have launched the career of many actors who are world famous who seem to have amazing ability and innate talent. This talent has elevated the country to the pinnacle of show biz- Hollywood. Among the most famous Mexican actors are Selma Hayek, how has received tons of awards, Eugenio Derbez, Jaime Camil, Kate del Castillo and many more. We couldn't forget to mention one of the most important things Mexico is known for: its food! Mexican dishes have won worldwide acclaim and awards for its exquisite flavor and for the remarkable chiles they add to pretty much all of their dishes. Among the most famous are tacos, which can be found with a variety of meats and spices, the delicious burrito, or my favorite, Red Mole. However the list of delicious Mexican food just goes on and on. Well friends, until next time‌

WOODY WRAP IT UP H

Need Wood

ey Woody, When I'm with a guy I have a problem keeping it up after I've put on a condom. I don't know what it is, but I don't have a problem keeping it up during oral or hand jobs. When I put on a condom my Willie checks out. I know my problem is condom specific because I've done it bareback no problem. I know it’s risky. I want to be able to give my partners the maximum pleasure with the maximum safety but how can I if I can't wrap it? ---Down & Out, but hopefully not for the count Dear Down: Barebacking because condoms make you go limp is a serious mistake. A mistake I'm not immune from making. It's happened to me, and more than once. I own up to it because a) I don't want to be sanctimonious about something I struggle with, and b) the more honest we are about it the more likely we can get on the right path. Too often, I've put the condom on only to see my pride and joy wilt like a thirsty flower. Not only is it a kill-joy, it's embarrassing as hell. If I just spent the last 15 minutes of foreplay telling my partner how much I want to pound his brains out and then I can't—well, I'm either a liar or incompetent. Which is worse? When I finally take the rubber off Mr. Pride & Joy magically springs back to life. Great. One thing leads to another and my thing is leading his other—without a rubber.

I always feel awful the day after, and not just because the guy insisted on staying over (don't you hate that?). The guilt is like a hang-over. You had a great time but you don't know if the night before was worth the morning after. And you know what? I SHOULD feel bad. And so should you. We put ourselves and our partners at risk. I am negative and I have every intention of staying that way. I've rationalized my behavior by donning the cloak of "Harm Reduction" (roughly translated to "hey, at least I wasn't stupid enough to be bottomed without a rubber" --) but I'm kidding myself. Rubber-less one-night stands are not worth the all-night vigils many of us will come to. Safe sex experts piss me off with their cheery motivational bullshit about making condoms another fun part of sex. Condoms are to sex what Saran Wrap is to food. It keeps things fresh and safe but it feels like shit in an orifice. So you're not going to hear a "Let's have fun with condoms" lesson from me. Still, when rubbers turn your c@&k to rubber, you can do what helped me the most: Immerse yourself in them. For the next couple of weeks open a rubber every day and just play with it. Stretch it, finger it, f%^k it. When you're masturbating—alone—try different ways of putting it on. Try different brands; figure out which one you prefer. Stretch it hard-- if it breaks it breaks. The point is to become so familiar with it that it doesn't have any power over you. A lot of the negative energy we have about condoms is that we're not used to them. They don't smell good, they don't feel good, so naturally we want as little to do with them as possible. But the way out of a problem is to head into it. Marinate yourself in condoms when you're alone. By the time you get to a partner, who wants you to bury the bone, it'll just be another thing you have to do before pawing the ground.

MIAMI

WYNWOOD THEATER

September 16th & 18th at 7PM & 9PM September 17th at 7PM, 9PM & 11PM

Dan Savage—the writer behind the 20-yearrunning Savage Love advice column, LGBTQ and political activist, and co-creator of the It Gets Better Project —had an unconventional idea back in 2005. He asked people to send him homemade dirty movies, and surprisingly, they did. In droves! His mailbox was brimming with films so hot, so hilarious, and diverse that he felt compelled to share them with the world. Eleven years strong, the HUMP! Film Festival is still the only place to see creative, homegrown adult movies! The films are a cornucopia of body sizes, shapes, ages, colors, sexualities, genders, kinks, and fetishes, all under the welcoming umbrella of sex- positivity and sexual expression. First and foremost HUMP! is about acceptance, and the festival is redefining conventional “p*rn,” one audience at a time. Since its inception in 2005, HUMP! has become a national phenomenon selling tens of thousands of tickets each year in the Pacific Northwest. This year—on its third international tour with 22 new films—it promises to make viewers laugh, gasp, sweat, wriggle in their seats, and genuinely get turned on. Watching these amusing, thought provoking, artistic, sometimes touching, and often outrageous films together with a theater full of friends and strangers is a uniquely strange and wonderful experience. The festival features short dirty movies—each less than five minutes—all created by people who aren't adult film stars but want to be one for a

weekend. The filmmakers and stars show us what they think is hot and sexy, creative and kinky, their ultimate turn-ons and their craziest fantasies. Dan Savage curates Hump! Savage writes the internationally syndicated relationship and sex advice column Savage Love and the podcast Savage Lovecast. He says of the festival, "We bill HUMP! as an amateur p*rn festival. But it's more than that. It's rare for people to watch an adult film that takes them outside their comfort zones— it's rare for people to watch p*rn that, if they were home alone in front of the computer, they wouldn't choose to click on and watch. At HUMP! straight people watch gay porn, vanilla people watch kinky porn, gay people watch lesbian porn. And people laugh, they gasp, sometimes they cover their eyes. But at the end of every film people clap and cheer. It's moving and wonderful and newcomers don't expect it. The whole festival is a celebration of sexual diversity." The 2016 HUMP! Tour heads to Miami for the first time, at the O Cinema Wynwood- 90 NW 29th St, on Friday and Sunday, September 16th and 18th with showings at 7pm and 9pm and on Saturday, September 17th with showings at 7pm, 9pm and 11pm.For an overview of each film and to purchase tickets, check out www.humpfilmfest.com.
