South Florida

O

n Thursday evening was the return of Broward Bares It after a few year hiatus (Terry and Bill moved to Orlando for a few years, but are back in South Florida) at the beautiful “The

Venue's Crystal Ballroom. The event featured local professional performers and community members, performing a night of burlesque, hot steamy dance routines, and comedy to raise money for 2 charities (Latinos Salud and Deliver the Dream). It was a fun evening of entertainment and striptease.

On Saturday evening, the Outlandish Performance

Series presented Fran Dresher live at the Sunshine Cathedral. Fran is a force to

be reckoned with, not only in the entertainment industry but as a philanthropist and as a humanitarian. She sold out the venue with only standing room tickets available. For fans of Fran, both her real mom (and dad) and onscreen mom (Rene Taylor) were in attendance. What a fabulous event and she was so wonderful at the Meet and Greet.

Later that night, Matty's

Wilton Park presented The Depot Reunion. Both owners Mark and Jim Babb were on hand.

On Sunday afternoon, we headed to Marytrini's new Cha Cha Brunch at Riviera Live (3138 Coral Way, Miami). For those of you, like me, who are generally out late on Saturday night, this is a later brunch with seating times at 2 pm and 5 pm. Lots of Latin queens entertain you while you are eating the delicious food. Congrats to Marytrini on another success. On Sunday, the Pub presented their monthly Lady Fancy's Gospel Jubilee, which is a church of a different kind and features good old fashioned Southern Gospel music. This is a fun event that happens every month.

Nico Tortorella is coming soon with Fluidity It's not every day that a niche cable hottie comes out the way Nico Tortorella did. The snackish co-star of Younger and co-host of MTV's bizarrely addictive How Far is Tattoo Far? (the show where frenemies blindfold each other and commit heinous acts of tattooing as revenge) didn't just casually shrug into gayness. No, Tortorella did it up in grand style, by coming out as non-binary (pronoun usually “they” but seems fairly chill about it), polyamorous, married in complementary wedding gowns to their nonbinary bisexual partner Bethany Meyers, and then going on The Wendy Williams Show to joyfully explain it everybody. Obviously, we're

20 | Hotspots.LGBT

fans now. Which means we will be hunting down a little film called Fluidity from director Linda Yellen when it gets itself out of postproduction and onto the queer film festival circuit. It would appear to be about a bunch of Millennials looking for love and intimacy in New York, and finding out that they're all… fluid? Look, we don't really know. But we're extremely ready for Nico's red carpet look.

Queer as Folk getting the Bravo reboot?

It appears that it's time to inflict Queer as Folk on a whole new generation. The 1999 UK series, created by

Russell T. Davies, the one that launched Charlie Hunnam's career, and spawned an extremely popular and hilariously hatewatchable Showtime series set in the wildest, sparkliest Pittsburgh you've (n)ever seen, might be returning to American television thanks to Bravo. Davies is already on board as an executive producer, though there's no cast set up yet and no word on any other details either. Listen, make it happen, Bravo, because we're going to watch; in fact, we're into it all the way, but when it shows up we do

hope everyone on the creative team understands that we have Pose now and the L Word reboot in the works, and Drag Race and queer characters and queer narratives on other programs and the entire queer internet to keep us entertained, so a little trio of gay white twinks is, frankly, from the olden times. What we're saying is… y'all better werk. Romeo San Vicente

got a chance to ask south Florida's own, Latrice Royale, how she felt about being back, and she said: “I'M BACK! It feels AMAZING! After being eliminated, the prospect of having a chance to fight for my spot back in the competition, lit a fire under me! Now more than ever I feel like I have a lot to prove to myself and Ru. Knowing that I'm under much pressure to deliver and not fade into the background, I have to STEP IT UP!” The Maxi challenge was for the girls to create and host your own legendary club night which needed to include a name, décor, entertainment, and a signature cocktail. As part of her welcoming back present Latrice got to pair the girls up in three teams of two and then get to pick which team she wanted to join. Their nightclubs would be judged by Carson,

The teams were: Monique and Monet – Club Black Hole Valentina and Naomi – Club 96 Trinity, Manilla and Latrice – Club Hive The runway look was Plastique Fantastique. In the end the top 2 were Trinity and Latrice who each one a $2,500 gift card to Crème Shop and a $3,000 gift card to JJ Malibu. The bottom two were Valentina and Naomi. After the Lip Synch for your Legacy Latrice proved why she came back and was declared the winner, and in an emotional reveal she chose to eliminate Valentina. It was a pleasure to sit down with Valentina for this exclusive Hotspots interview:

How has your life changed since you were on Drag Race? My life has changed dramatically, drastically and every way possible. My life has transformed into being an artist every single day and I am so blessed to have the platform I do and to live off my talent.

myself and it felt great. It was definitely one of the things I needed to do.

This weekend is Rent Live where you are one of the stars. Are you excited? I am so incredibly excited, and after these interviews I have to run to rehearsals and I can't wait to deliver something magical.

Now that you have been eliminated, who do you want to win? I am rooting for them all as they are all my friends.

What's Ahead for Valentina? A bright, bright future full of surprises. I am definitely so grateful to be an artist and to be challenged all the time. I hope to continue being on television and to make music and of course I always want to be connected to my loving fan base. For more information on Valentina, go to her website: Allaboutvalentina.com or you can follow her on Facebook.com/ or Instagram.com/ AllaboutValentina.

What has been some of your favorite cities to visit as a RuPaul Alumni? Mexico City has been one of the most magical performances I ever had as I had my first sold out show there. Argentina was the loudest and rowdiest crowd and that was amazing and when I crowd surfed in Paris I felt like a rock star. I also love performing anywhere in Texas.

How exciting was it to get called back for All Stars? Did you consider not coming back, and if so what made you come back? It was definitely exciting and a lot of pressure. My only doubt was about timing and getting together an army to put together my package. How did you prepare differently for all stars than you did the first time you were on the show? I had money baby.

How gratifying was it to win a Lip Synch Challenge? It was so fulfilling artistically to redeem

Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed

production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, Les Misérables, plays the Arsht Center February 5-10 and the Kravis Center February 12-17. This much-anticipated engagement comes to South Florida direct from a celebrated two-and-a-half year Broadway engagement. With glorious new staging and dazzlingly reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo, this breathtaking production of Les Misérables, which broke box office records during its pre-Broadway tour, has left both audiences and critics awestruck, cheering “Les

Miz is born again!” (NY1). Cameron Mackintosh said, “I'm delighted that after a four-year absence this glorious production is once again touring the major cities across North America and is more spectacular than ever.” Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption – a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Featuring one of the greatest scores of all time, with thrilling and beloved songs including “I Dreamed A Dream,” “On My Own,” “Stars," “Bring Him Home,” “One Day More,” “Do You

world's most popular musical, breaking box office records everywhere in its 33rd year. It was a pleasure to sit down with Mary Kate Moore who plays Fantine for this exclusive Hotsptos interview:

When did the performing bug take a hold of you? In High school was the first time I was in a musical as I did Hello Dolly my freshman year. That anxious adrenaline rush you get before you go on stage got me and I knew I wanted this to be my career.

What was your first professional/paid gig? In college I worked for Lyric Theater of Oklahoma and I did a production of “Spring Awakening.”

Hear the People Sing” and many more, this epic and uplifting story has become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history. Along with the Oscar-winning movie version, it has now been seen by more than 130 million people in 44 countries and in 22 languages around the globe. Les Misérables is still the

When did you know it would be your career? I think probably when I was cast in my first union job, which was Fiasco Theater's production of “Into the Woods.” Before I was a member of Actors Equity I wasn't sure it was going to happen for me.

How did you get cast in in Les Miz? I first auditioned for the show in April of 2017, for an ensemble role. I did not get the job and was a little disappointed. About 2 weeks before rehearsals started in August of 2017, I got called back again and I got cast in the ensemble of the show, and understudied Fantine. I did that for 6 months, and then our Fantine didn't want to stay. They re-auditioned me again, and I got the job. I found out 2 or 3 days after my 27th birthday in March of this year that I got the role. I have now done over 300 performances.

Is there a lot of pressure to play this iconic character? I think when I first started there was pressure, but we are really lucky with this company that Hotspots.LGBT | 35

everyone is so supportive and we all recognize the responsibility we have for this production. Since we are all up there together we can focus on the story and it feels gratifying and wonderful.

Besides this role, what has been your favorite role? When I did “Into the Woods” I was an off stage standby and I had to know 3 parts at any moment. It was so fun to go anytime because each time I played a different character. But my favorite role was the Bakers Wife.

What's your dream/fantasy role? Well, I recognize that I like very dramatic roles, and I think someday, maybe 10 years down the line, I would like to play Mother in “Ragtime.”

What should our readers expect from the touring company of Les Miz? I think almost everyone knows the show, whether they have seen the original cast, the movie or listened to the music. This is the Les Miz they know and love just reimagined for our 36

cast with new sets and incredible paintings from Victor Hugo. The characters are slightly re-imagined as well. The original Broadway production of Les Misérables opened at the Broadway Theatre on March 12, 1987 and transferred to the Imperial Theatre on Oct. 17, 1990 running for 6,680 performances. The original U.S. national tour began in Nov. 1987 and visited more than 150 cities before closing in St. Louis, Mo. in 2006. Broadway audiences welcomed Les Misérables back to New York on Nov. 9, 2006 where the show played the Broadhurst Theatre until its final performance on Jan. 6, 2008. To date, Les Misérables remains the 5th longest-running Broadway production of all time. PAM ANN in “Flight Attendant Star

By Scott Holland Logo TV founder Matt Farber's Outlandish performance series continues on Saturday, Feb. 9 with comedian Pam Ann performing a new show, "Flight Attendant Star" at the Sunshine Cathedral in Fort Lauderdale. Iconic international celebrity airhostess Pam Ann has evolved since irst jetting out of her hometown of Melbourne 20 years ago. Pam -- the alter-ego of Australian comedianwriter-producer Caroline Reid -- has developed a cult-like status both here and overseas with her masterful portrayal of an international air hostess. Pam's barbed wit has seen her ly many a risky route and negotiate even the most politically incorrect light path with her blisteringly funny take on the world of airlines and aircrew. Nothing is out of reach of her pristine white gloves, strutting up the aisle with a trolley full of beautifully unpredictable, acerbic airline satire. There's not much Pam hasn't seen or done - from crewing Elton John's private jet at his express request, sharing a stadium stage on a tour of the UK with Cher, and counting Madonna in her legion of devoted fans worldwide. It was, once again, a pleasure to sit down with both Pam and Caroline for this exclusive Hotspots interview.

42

What has happened in the last years since we last spoke? I've started DJing. I play disco and disco house. It's been so great learning a new skill and

| Hotspots.LGBT

going out of my comfort zone after 23 years of comedy. So far I've DJ'd at my favorite place in the world, the Standard Spa Hotel Miami. My Standard family actually gave me my irst ever gig, and I was delighted to be asked to DJ at the SAVE LGBT Halloween Ball here in Miami Beach. It meant so much to me, it's the irst time in years I felt part of such a loving, caring, diverse community. Over Christmas, I DJ'd on the Intrepid for TPG Awards (The Points Guy) which was insane spinning on an aircraft carrier surrounded by jets and space ships. It's been so incredible so far and I'm thrilled and excited to announce I will be DJing in Stockholm Pride for the closing party, so watch out bitches, DJ Pam Ann is going international! Don't worry, though, I'm not giving up comedy anytime soon, but I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life. How did you create Pam Ann? She was born out of a bottle of Absolut vodka. I had a James Bond themed birthday party back in 1996 (Sean Connery Bond). He only lew Pan American, so I went dressed

to my birthday as a Pan Am 1960's air hostess. Over the course of the evening everyone was getting more and more drunk and started calling me Pan Am. The drunker my friends got, the more it sounded like Pam Ann. Try it say Pan Am ten times in a row BOOM PAM ANN is born. Plus, my love of everything 60's design and airlines created what Pam Ann is today. Seriously I never thought I'd end up in comedy, I actually wanted to be a department store window dresser... before Pam Ann I actually used to sell mannequins at Mei & Picchi in Fitzroy Melbourne. Did you ever expect this level of success and how did it change your life? I never try to have expectations period. I've always lived my life and career organically and followed my heart and passion. Success is a weird word; it's all in the mind what you perceive. I just try to be as authentic as possible and I don't think about success. I feel like I haven't even started yet and still have a long journey ahead. Pam Ann has gifted me the opportunity to live a carefree life and travel the world doing what I love, I couldn't be more grateful to her. I've met so many incredible friends along the way. I'm a High School dropout so for me Pam Ann has been my university in life. I am now the Wikipedia on airlines, light attendants, cultures and global travel. My US green card to me is one of my greatest achievements, it's my college degree ... Pam Ann got me into the USA. You have worked with so many superstars, who are your favorites and why? Elton John and David Furnish are my favorite superstars and people in the world. Not only do they support and encourage new talent they have raised so much awareness and money for HIV and AIDS; they are my heroes. I love them both so, so much... and damn, they know how to throw a great party. Is there one gig that was your favorite and if so why? One of my favorite shows was in Paris at the beautiful Alhambra theatre. I love Parisians and I love performing in Paris. My bar is set high to achieve and do the best I can for the Parisians. (Comedy is like a drug your always chasing the perfect

show) So this one particulate night in Paris I'd performed what I thought was an ok show in my mind. I went off stage and said to my tour manager Esther (who's been with me for over 12yrs and knows me so well) damn that wasn't good enough. I went to my dressing room took off my wig and threw off my Chanel pumps ... Esther then came running into my dressing room saying they won't leave ... I said who? She said the audience. They are stamping their feet and demanding you come out for an encore. I was in shock, and I went out barefoot, wig in hand completely confused ...they all stood on their feet and shouted BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO! I cried and thanked them as they hugged me with their hearts. I'll never forget it, it was my Edith Piaf moment. I love and adore the French so much and even though I can't speak French, they feel it from my soul. That's why I love what I do, for these precious magical golden rare moments.

Now that you live in the states, do you miss Australia and how often do you get back down under? I love Australia, my family and my best friends live there. I've had friends in Oz for over 30yrs who are all part of my DNA. Pam Ann was born in Melbourne through the encouragement of so many darling friends of mine, without them Pam Ann might never have been. I miss everyone so much I wish we could pull Australia over and join it to Miami. IMAGINE Miami with kangaroos! I try and go back 2 times a year of course lying the Qantas, the lying kangaroo. How do you keep your material fresh for the audience and for yourself as an artist? I never do the same show….ever! I tailor my shows to what country I'm in and talk about their national airline and what is currently happening in their world that we all can relate to. I improvise the irst hour or so of my show and I work on the ly so to speak. I don't write I just tell my stories though my real life experiences and observations (I have an incredible Wikipedia library in my head). I have brought back much more audience participation to my shows once again, which I love. I stopped doing it for a while ...long story all I'll say it involved glitter and a homophobic couple. But rest assured I'm back in full swing so watch out Pam Ann Frequent Flyers. Describe Pam Ann is 3 words? Honest, funny and 'plane' ilthy

What should the South Florida Audiences expect from your show “Flight Attendant Star”? Lots of inappropriate banter—which clearly should not be said in church! Sunshine Cathedral and everyone who volunteers and works at the church are so kind and awesome, it's my favorite place in the world to perform and I am not just saying that. Plus, you don't get a gayer, more fabulous audience than you do in Fort Lauderdale. If I could work monthly in Fort Lauderdale, I would never leave Florida. And yes, this a shameless plug for a club in Wilton Manors to book me, please! I just LOVE you all so much! Do you have a warning for the virgins of your show? Turn your f*cking phones off! What does the future hold for Pam Ann and for Caroline? I hope to spend much more time at home in Florida working with the LGBTQ community to help bring more LGBTQ tourism to Miami Beach and raise lots of money for SAVE LGBTQ and many other charity organizations. I hope the future holds new opportunities for both me and Pam Ann. Tickets are now on sale for NYE—Flight 2018 at pamann.ticketleap.com. General Admission, Premium Seating, and VIP tickets (including a meet and greet) available. $35-$100.

And for added star power, this special event will be hosted by local Emmy-award winning newscaster Roxanne Vargas of NBC6. EASY RECIPES by Andreus Q

Doritos Chicken Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts 2 eggs 2 tablespoons of milk 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of pepper 2 cups of Doritos (crushed), (or your favorite chips) Non-stick cooking spray (Canola)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F Take your chicken breasts, and trim away any fat or gristle. I like to use a mallet or meat tenderizer and pound the breast just a little, but not latten it. Lightly salt and pepper the chicken breasts on both sides, set aside.

66 | Hotspots.LGBT

In a bowl, whisk together the egg and milk, set aside. Take your Doritos or chips and empty them into a large Ziploc bag. Seal the bag, and with a rolling pin, roll over the Doritos until they are small lakes, but not like dust. You want a crunchy layer on the outside of your chicken. Lightly spray the bottom of a rectangular baking dish or Pyrex, or even a cookie sheet. Dredge the chicken in the egg-milk mixture, then drop the breast into the bag of Doritos lakes and coat thoroughly. Carefully remove the breast, and place on the baking dish or cookie sheet. Repeat until all breasts are done, then place into the oven, and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes, keeping an eye on the chicken. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, and ENJOY!

STEDFAST BAPTIST CHURCH

OF THE WEEK BY D'ANNE WITKOWSKI

elcome to this episode of "Christian Hypocracy: Anti-Gay Christian Edition." It's been a while since we've done one of these so let's start off 2019 oldschool style and call out an anti-LGBTQ public figure who turns out to not be so morally upstanding after all. Let me introduce you to Donnie Romero, former pastor of the Stedfast Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. He's the former pastor because he did some sins that “disqualified” him from pastorhood. Romero's pastor buddy Steven Anderson came to Stedfast Baptist Church so he could be there to help the church through Romero's announcement. In a video posted online Anderson explains why Romero had to step down, explaining that Romero's address to the congregation didn't include specifics because his wife and children were there and they didn't want to “humiliate or disturb them.” But for the sake of transparency, Anderson says, he wants to let people know what's going on. “Even pastors are human,” Anderson says. “I'm just going to mention what the sins were without going into detail. Basically the major sin involved was being with prostitutes, and then there were also marijuana and gambling that were also discovered.” Well, first off they're called “sex workers,” not prostitutes. Secondly, transparency is a good and rare thing in religious institutions, so yay them, I guess. Plus, Romero looked so damn sad in the video of him addressing his flock to tell them he's bouncing. You could almost feel sorry for him.

68 | Hotspots.LGBT

Unless, of course, you know about the absolutely heinously hateful shit Romero has said about gay people. Then any pity you have for him really evaporates. As the Star-Telegram reports, Southern Poverty Law Center designated Stedfast church a hate group in 2015. And that was before Romero went off about the Pulse nightclub victims in 2016. “These 50 Sodomites were all perverts and pedophiles and they are the scum of the earth, and the earth is a little bit better place now, and I'll even take it a little further,” he said according to the Star-Telegram. “I heard on the news today that there are still several dozen of these queers in ICU, and I will pray that God will finish the job that that man started.” Now, I've been writing about anti-gay folks for over a decade now, and that is honestly one of the vilest quotes I have ever encountered. The lack of compassion is astounding. And notice that the guy with the gun, the guy who murdered scores of people and injured many more, is viewed as a tool of God's will doing the Lord's work with an assault rifle. Never mind that the shooter was Muslim, which in most circumstances would probably be a dealbreaker for Romero and his church. Hey, nobody's perfect. Anderson, too, is no stranger to hate. “The good news is that at least 50 of these pedophiles are not going to be harming children anymore,” Anderson said after the Pulse shooting according to the Washington Post. “The bad news is that a lot of the homos

It bears repeating, again and again, that being LGBTQ does not make someone more likely to molest children. in the bar are still alive, so they're going to continue to molest children and recruit people into their filthy homosexual lifestyle.” It bears repeating, again and again, that being LGBTQ does not make someone more likely to molest children. That's a gross lie repeated by gross people. Nor do LGBTQ people recruit, unless you count lesbians who form the core of any good softball team. Also according to the Post, “In one sermon recorded at his church, Anderson suggested the world could be AIDS-free by Christmas if only people 'executed the homos like God recommends.'” Has this guy met Mike Pence? Because I think they'd be great buds. They have a lot in common. In fact, should Trump get impeached I suspect Anderson could find a home in a Pence Administration simply by submitting a resume with his AIDS-Free By Christmas plan alone. In case you were worried, no, Stedfast Baptist

Church did not decide that being hateful was maybe a really crappy way to be Christian. Instead they doubled down, electing Jonathan Shelley to be their new pastor. He hates gays, too. “They hate God. God has already given them up,” he says in an Oct. 2018 video according to the Star-Telegram “That's the reason they're doing these vile, disgusting things. They're beasts, they're wicked, they're abominable, they're filthy today.” Feeling disgusted? Well, you could pray for their souls, but I'm not sure they have any. It's probably more effective to visit splcenter.org and make a donation to their work combating the kind of hate Stedfast perpetuates. Amen.

HOT BODIES by Tom Bonanti

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines: Natural Ways to Boost Your Energy

Y

our metabolism is the result of all the processes in your body working together to create the energy that keeps you going. Your metabolism can be high, low, or someplace in the middle. This is significant because the rate at which your body burns calories and converts food to energy affects how easily you gain or lose weight. This also determines how much get-up-and-go you've got for the day's activities. You are not a prisoner of your metabolism. Someone with a super-fast metabolism won't stay slim eating junk food and remaining sedentary, while people with a slower burn aren't doomed to be overweight. Much of your

metabolic rate is determined by genetics, age, gender and body type. Lifestyle, exercise and good nutrition also greatly shape a person's metabolism. Here are some natural ways to rev up your metabolism.

Get more sleep. This seems obvious, but research shows that besides leaving you exhausted, sleep deprivation can send your hunger and appetite hormones out of whack. A four- year study at Stanford University found that adults who regularly slept for only five hours a night increased their levels of hunger inducing gherlin by 14% and lowered their levels of appetite-suppressing leptin by 15%. This spells trouble, meaning you're going to eat

more than you need to feel full, resulting in weight gain. Experts recommend 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep in a cool, noise-free, uncluttered space.

Wake up earlier and eat breakfast. It may seem like a good option to hit the snooze button and roll over for another 15 minutes in the sack, but this may prove to be counterproductive. Rising earlier and taking time to prepare a healthy breakfast will start you off in a better direction and give you more energy all day long Exercise every day. Cardio-vascular exercise (walking, jogging, hiking, swimming) stimulates your metabolism, burns calories and even helps curb appetite. Weight training is important because it helps maintain and build lean muscle mass which burns more calories than fat. The more muscle tissue your carry, the more fat and calories you burn daily, even when you're asleep.

smaller meals throughout the day. This way your body will receive a steadier supply of energy all day, store less fat and your mental processes will stay clearer and more focused. Never skip meals thinking that you'll lose weight faster. Starving your body only drives it into a fat storing mode which is counterproductive to your goals. Often, when you feel hungry and tempted to grab some quick junk, all you need is a glass of water because you're a bit dehydrated.

Add some spice to your diet. Eating spicy foods like jalapenos, chili peppers and spices (curry, turmeric, cayenne) may raise your body temperature. This in turn can raise your metabolism and help you burn stored fat. Spices also increase feelings of satiety, making you feel fuller, faster.

Eat all day and don't skip meals. Forget about 3 big squares, instead go for 5-6

need ADVICE

By Andreus Quinones

Sad & Lonely Dear Andreus, I recently went through a bad breakup, and realize after years of relationships back to back, that I get severely depressed when I am alone. I have been spending so much time with my friends that I think they are tired of me, and in between that, I have just been meeting random guys just so that I would have someone around. I need to get out of this rut. I have just been so down. Any suggestions? Sincerely, Sad & Lonely Dear Sad & Lonely, I don't' think that anyone really likes being alone, but you have to try to see it from a more positive perspective. Sometimes we need to be alone to reflect on our lives, process the information we gather from soul-searching, and use it to evolve. The best you can do in your alone time, is spend time becoming your own best friend, and loving yourself. Take yourself to the movies, treat yourself to dinner, and just pamper yourself. Look in the mirror and talk to the beautiful person staring back at you. I promise the more you do these things, the better you will begin to feel. At some point, you won't even feel lonely. With self-love, comes confidence, and that is when we are most attractive to ourselves and others.

Dear Andreus, I have an identical twin brother, and we are both gay. Recently we had a dinner party, and everybody got a bit drunk. It was a great time, until I excused myself from the party to head to the bathroom, and saw my twin making out with my boyfriend. At the time, they didn't see me, but I did address it with my boyfriend who claims that he was drunk and thought it was me. I don't know who I should be angrier with, my boyfriend or my twin. What should I do? Sincerely, Stephane Dear Stephane, Okay. Things do happen, people get drunk and make out. Honestly, your boyfriend, depending on how drunk he was, could have legitimately made a mistake. If you guys are truly identical, then it is a possibility. However, there is no excuse for your twin. I am pretty sure that your boyfriend is not identical to his, so he should know better, drunk or not. This is most definitely something you need to address, because boundaries are important. If this all makes you uncomfortable, you must deal with it‌ you have every right. Best of luck!
