Rounding out the cast is Louis Griffin, Patrick Park, L'Oréal Roaché, Haley Wright, Sarah Agrusa, Gabe Amato, Caro Daye Attayek, Adia Olanethia Bell, Dean Cestari, Emily Croft, Madison Deadman, Jordan De Leon, Nico DiPrimio, Patrick Dunn, Stephanie Genito, Danny Lopez-Alicea, Makoa, Faith Northcutt, Jasmine Overbaugh, Gray Phillips, Blake Price, Dorian Quinn, Xavi Soto Burgos, and Amy Weaver.
It was a pleasure to sit down with Victor Wallace (Sam Carmichael) for this exclusive Hotspots interview.
At what age did you begin performing and how did it happen?
I think maybe I was 7 years old. My older cousin was in summer theater program, and they were doing Alice in Wonderland and they needed small children to play with the Queen of Hearts. I got cast and it was the very first time I stepped on a stage. What was your first professional gig and how much did you get paid?
I think the first time I made money performing was probably my summers in college. I worked at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg Virginia, and it was only like $300ish a week, for 5 to 6 shows a day. Back then it seemed like a lot of money. When did you know performing would be your career?
When I was in high school I did a lot of community theater and went to Arts camp, which was a chance to be around a lot of other kids my age and to get more of a sense on how I can make performing a career. It also gave me the chance to know if I was any good at performing. After spending a few summers there I decided I can to this. Therefore, I decided to pick a performing arts university (Ithaca college), and the rest is history.
Other than this show, what has been your favorite role so far?
I probably have to say understudying and performing the role of Phantom in Phantom of the Opera was unforgettable and such a great experience. What's your fantasy role (a role you haven't played but would die to play)?
I don't know if I have a specific role that I am dying to play, but I would like to think it hasn't been created yet. Some that come to mind are Emile In South Pacific, Dan in Next to Normal, also, I have never done a Sondheim musical. I aged out of a lot of roles I would have liked to play when I was younger. Oh, I forgot, I would also love Frederick in a little night music. Is it intimidating or is there extra pressure being in this musical being that is so iconic? No, because I have such a long history with this show, as the first time I did the show was well before the movie was made. I have come back to it many times. What I can't believe is that 25 years later we are still selling out.
What's your favorite and least favorite thing about being on the road all the time? My least favorite part is that on our day off we are traveling to the next city, and my
most favorite part is discovering new places and seeing this country as each city has its own personality…it's fun!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Compassionate, consistent, and optimistic. What do you do for fun?
I like to find good eats and drinks, especially when I am on the road. I enjoy finding out what the local city has to offer. My favorite thing is to find a good local donut!
What should our readers expect from this touring company of, “Mamma Mia”?
I think that this particular production of Mamma Mia is better than ever as it has such an incredibly talented cast. For the 25th anniversary tour its top notch!
MAMMA MIA! sails into the Kravis Center June 25 – 30. Showtimes are Tuesday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets starts at $45 and may be purchased online at the official Kravis Center website kravis.org; by calling the Kravis Center Box Office at 561-832-7469 during regular box office hours Monday through Saturday from Noon to 5 p.m.; or in person at 701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach.

On Mekahel Makes a Splash with
His Swim Collection and Blazing New Summer Song
By Frank Doll
On Mekahel is an entertainment powerhouse. He is a model, actor, fashion designer and social media influencer with nearly three million followers. He is best known for starring on the reality show, Putting On, a series that ran for two seasons on Revry TV. It followed the ups and downs of his personal and business life, with viewers watching as the underwear model built his Mounderwear fashion empire from the ground up.
Mounderwear continues to thrive today with On Mekahel recently unveiling the company’s summer 2024 collection. He’s also adding one more title to his resume

this summer: pop singer. This month, On Mekahel is debuting his first music single, “Play with Fire”. Produced by DJ Ran Ziv, the song is a European house and dance-pop record that captures the energy and excitement of the dance floor.
We caught up with On Mekahel from his home in Los Angeles. Congratulations on the new song! Thanks! This song is just the beginning. I’m working on an entire EP! Is singing a new thing for you?
Not really. Growing up, I was that kid that performed in every school and community event; the one that would
“As the person whose life is under a microscope, you want to make sure that certain elements of who you are and what you stand for shine through...”
put on a show wherever he was. The world has always been my stage. Why was now the right time to release a music single?
There is never a better time than now to do absolutely anything. That’s my life’s motto! Also, I just felt ready and like I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I feel more confident now than ever before: ready to make the transition from shirtless boy on Instagram to someone that is creating a body of work that goes deeper. I know the direction I want to take my music and I’m not afraid of opening myself up to judgment. Is that why you exited your show after two seasons?
Did you grow tired of the judgement from viewers? No, it was more due to creative differences with the network. While I loved the process and the results of doing the show, filming two seasons took a lot of time and energy. We won the Queerty Award for best
HotspotsMagazine.com | 69
streaming series in 2021, and after that, we sort of hit a plateau with the network and decided it was in everyone’s best interests to go out on top. What did you learn from shooting the reality show?
I learned about the art of storytelling and all that is involved in the process of sharing your life with the world. It’s not nearly as simple as turning on the camera and filming. In order for the audience to engage with the show, the story has to make sense and grab interest. As the person whose life is under a microscope, you want to make sure that certain elements of who you are and what you stand for shine through but it’s hard to do that when you have producers twisting the story to fit their narrative. What were the best parts of doing a reality show?
Working with my husband every day. There is nothing I love more in life than spending time with him. The show also kept me extremely busy, which I loved. I’m a better version of myself when I’m busy. Worst parts?
Having cameras in your face when things are not great in life. Like when my first love broke my heart, or when my husband and I were struggling with our relationship. Those were really personal moments, but when you’re on a reality show, you’re required to show up and film, no matter what. But man, having a camera crew in the room with you makes life’s problems so much more difficult. Would you do it again?
I don’t know. I’m forever thankful that I was given the opportunity and I will always cherish how, especially after the first season, I received so many messages about how simply sharing my story had inspired men to come out, follow their heart and chase their dreams. That made everything worth it. Do you credit the show with the success of your Mounderwear brand?
I believe that it helped in some ways,
absolutely. It shined a spotlight on the brand, the creative process and the hard work we put into it. My social media channels also deserve credit.
How has the Mounderwear brand evolved in the last few years?
We grow a bit with every new collection we put out. Our customers are vocal and we listen. Your tattoos…You like?
Oh, yes. There are so many! Do you have a favorite? I have two. I love the Eiffel tower tattoo because my husband and I got married in Paris and we had what I can only call my dream
ceremony. The second tattoo that has major significance would be my dog paws. My dog babies are my world. They are my rocks. My soul. I put their paws on my leg so we can walk together forever.

JOHNNY DONOVAN
STARS IN KINKMEN’S “THE ELECTRO DOM”
By Shane Gallagher Photos Kinkmen.com
Johnny Donovan began his adult career with Sean Cody, where as “Deacon”, his boy-next-door charm, strong on-screen presence and natural talent for engaging with the camera won over legions of horny fans. Now seeking to explore new horizons, Donovan has transitioned to KinkMen, where he is showcasing his versatility as a dom and sub and embracing more diverse and intense roles.
We spoke with Johnny Donovan on the set of The Electro Dom, his new film with Brody Fox.
We meet a new side of Johnny Donovan in The Electro Dom. What inspired you to take on the role?
KinkMen.com has always been of interest to me. A lot of my sexual firsts were on camera: my first threesome, my first orgy, my first times with FTM and MTF trans people… I guess I thought if I wanted to try something new like flogging, caning or electro play, then it might as well be on film. There is a sense of safety for me on a porn set. You play the Electro Dom. Are you always in control?
I’m naturally more of a pleaser, so I enjoy dominating when I’m in tune with what my sub needs. When I’m feeling selfish and needy, I enjoy subbing more.
Let’s take it back a little. You grew up in Idaho. What was that like?
My childhood was idyllic. I grew up in a small migrant farming community in southern Idaho. I was one of three white kids in a school of mostly Mexicans. I grew up enjoying the simple life, playing every sport, but mostly soccer.
When did you first realize you were gay?
When I was 11, my best friend introduced me to this hardcore hetero site and I was way more into the men than my friend was, so I started to put some things together. I realized some of the boys I was trying to get close to since elementary school were not necessarily boys I wanted to be friends with. Then middle school was so much different. Suddenly I was nervous around the cute boys I used to be cool with and I just got more and more confused. Did you have any early experiences?
One day in the locker room my friend and I were talking about sex as we were undressing. I admitted I
was a virgin and he told me he had lots of sex. I asked him if the girls were pleased with his size because I thought I was bigger. He challenged me to a comparison. He said he was a grower and not a shower, so I asked “What do you want to get it hard?” I was hoping he would take the bait but he just shrugged it off and made an excuse for us to hurry out of the locker room.
When did you come out to family and friends? I came out to some of my friends right when I figured it out myself. It took me two years to come out to my parents, though. Even then I didn’t come out so

much as just inform them I was dating a boy. My mom was a little shocked. She told me not to tell my dad because she thought it would be better if she got his initial reaction. From what I hear he was a little upset by the news, but they both kept loving me. My siblings were even cooler about it. Some expected, and some were surprised: I try not to take offense to either reaction.
You were 27 when you and your partner, Ricky, both launched your careers with Sean Cody. I was 26, but I think I said I was 24 on the site. We had been together for two years at that point and had just started opening our relationship to threesomes. Deciding to get into porn was a little scary at first, but once we did it, it was great. It made us stop taking ourselves so seriously in a lot of ways. We both had three jobs before porn and we were stretching ourselves thin. Looking
“Nothing makes me smile quite like the feeling of two round cheeks that fit into the palms of my hands while...”
back, I feel more like a 26-year-old now than I did then. I felt like I was sprinting toward 50 with all the stress and worry about the future. I understand now that things I used to take so seriously don’t need to be.
What did your family and friends think of your decision to launch an adult film career?
My lifelong friends from high school thought it was crazy but cool. They live very heteronormative lives, and as open-minded and inclusive as they are, they get uncomfortable talking about anything they don’t know. My family was always on the side of “Just be as safe as you can.” There has been no pushback, at least not to my face, and I feel supported emotionally.
What do you enjoy most about being an adult film star?
I like the people I work with. Sex work is becoming so normalized and taboos about sexuality are being lifted, so everyone I work with has made a conscious choice to do this work. They do it because they love it and it is work that comes naturally to them. Imagine working in any other industry where everyone around you enjoys what they are doing and they are
really good at it. It’s just a joy. I also like how we get to engage with our fans. Having my fan site outside of the studio stuff lets me connect with the people who are watching me in my films. Will we see you in additional Kink Men films?
You will be seeing me start to explore my role as a switch this year. I can’t go into details about specific scenes, but I hope to get tied up a number of times and flogged.
Do you ultimately want to end up on the other side of the camera, filming and producing kink films?
I’ve played with the idea. My degree is in television broadcast, and I do love to write copy and edit footage… but I think the part I love about this business is in front of the camera. I don’t want to ruin that with too many auxiliary roles.
What do you see as the future of adult film?
The future has to be 3D, right?
People are loving what VR has done to porn. I think the GoPro 360 camera and similar tools will continue to be used more in productions. Maybe we’ll eventually have adult theaters that are 4D experiences. What makes Johnny Donovan smile?
“I’m naturally more of a pleaser, so I enjoy dominating...”
Nothing makes me smile quite like the feeling of two round cheeks that fit into the palms of my hands while I’m seven inches deep.
What makes you crazy?
This thing my fiancé does with his tongue in my ear. Drives me insane, in a good way.
What is your prized possession?
I don’t put a lot of stock in possessions, but I lost my Kindle once and I thought I was going to throw up.
If you could convince any celeb to film a scene for Kink Men, who would you choose?
I would love to see Jason Mamoa in a KinkMen.com scene where he is a biker and he forces me to spit shine his bike and lick his and his biker friends’ boots.
Then cut to a scene where they have me tied up on the bar and they each take their turn on me.
If anywhere on the planet were an option, where would you most like to live?
I think I would be happiest in La Jolla, San Diego, California. I mean, if it was at all affordable.
What’s left to do on your life’s bucket list?
Machu Picchu, Yosemite, snowboarding and surfing in New Zealand, getting married… so much to do!
Final message to fans?
The rest is love.

86 | HotspotsMagazine.com
wife Lauren, are personal friends of mine. The way we became friends was way over a decade ago when I sat down to interview him for the first time. We had so much in common we bonded, and the rest is history. Therefore, it was really a pleasure to go to Max's office, and chat with my friend.
You moved locations and completely remodeled. When did you move and how has it been?
We moved October of 2022, as I wanted to create an office that fit my personality and what I was trying to aim for all these years. I also wanted to be closer to the community of Wilton Manors that has
been so supportive of us over the last 15+ years. I found this opportunity in the growing area of Oakland Park, and I jumped on it.
Tell me about your staff.
“...wanted to be closer to the community of Wilton Manors that has been so supportive of us over the last 15+ years. I found this opportunity in the growing area of Oakland Park, and I jumped on it.”
We have the most caring hygienists in the tricounty region. Ben has been with us since the move. With COVID, and the move, I felt this was the time to make some staff changes. Ben was one of the first actions I made in hiring him to add to the office. He brings his big heart and laugh. Hardly ever in a bad mood, I think the biggest asset has been bringing him on board.
Jose is our part-time hygienist who was a dentist in Peru and brings those added skills to the practice. Unfortunately, we will soon be losing him, as he plans to move forward with becoming a dentist in this country. Looking at the forest through the trees, I hope to one day bring him back not as a hygienist, but rather as a future colleague who will work with us in the office.
Katina and Kasi have collectively been in the dental field for 30 years. Katina has been with me now for 7 years, and Kasi I have known for 10. When Kasi left her former position, it was an easy decision to offer her a position. Pierre, our office manager, I have also known for 10 years. I met him through CrossFit some years ago. Fast forward, he transitioned from his former field into dental. Susie (front desk) has also been in the dental field for quite a long time. She hails from Jacksonville, and I was so glad when she came in for the

interview, we knew she was the right fit.
How do you and your staff give great customer service to your clients?
I would like to think we are really on top of things. We built this new office for our patients with our patients in mind. We have had local artists begin to paint the rooms (even the bathroom) to make this office feel less robotic and with more soul. What do you think it is about your practice that sets itself apart from other dentists in the area?
We really want to make sure our patients are happy and educated every step of the way. We also make every attempt to be punctual with our patients. We understand patients do not exactly like being at the dentist, and they have to get to work. We try to do good work as efficiently as possible.
What services do you offer?
Botox, fillers, general dentistry (fillings, crowns, extractions), cosmetics (veneers, porcelain crowns, metal free restorations). We also offer nitrous sedation as well as oral sedation.
Tooth whitening is very popular, tell me about the different options?
We have 3 options. The first is a 10-day disposable kit, which is like dental strips, but more of a dental quality. The second is an in-office 1 hour whitening treatment, and the third option, which gets the best results, is a combination of the first two. This is where you do 1 hour of whitening, and then do 5 take home kits followed by another 1 hour of whitening and then another 5 take home kits. This option is for clients who have deep stains.
As a dentist, what is your goal in your practice?
are not a Mr. Potato Head. You are a human being. Dentures should not be a thing anymore.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we take most PPOs. We also have 3 options for in-house insurance depending on the patient's needs. They all offer discounts, and the payments start as low as $325 for the year.
Do you take walk ins or do you need to make an appointment?
An appointment is preferred, but if you come in with pain we will see you. I have NEVER said no to a patient in an emergency. What does the future hold?
We created an office to serve the community of Oakland Park and Wilton Manors. It was made for the community around us and for
“...Botox, llers, general dentistry (llings, crowns, extractions), cosmetics (veneers, porcelain crowns, metal free restorations).”
the community that's coming. We are currently looking to expand our staff to help with the growing community.
I want patients to understand that the mouth is the first entrance to health. We want to keep your teeth healthy, as without a healthy mouth you will not have a healthy body. Missing teeth is not healthy. "Just pulling it out," is not ok. You

Disconnect from the outside world, create new memories with your staff, family, and friends, and truly feel like you are a member of the Artemis II crew.
It was a pleasure to sit down with Félix Lajeunesse, the Chief Creative Office and Co-founder of Felix & Paul Studios for this exclusive Hotspots interview. Felix is a visionary creator with an extraordinary attention to detail and a deep understanding of emotional resonance, crafts virtual reality and immersive experiences that provoke connection and are rooted in a profound sense of presence.
At what age did you start having an interest in Virtual Reality and how did that happen? I have been a film maker since I was 20 and it took me a couple of years to start thinking outside the boundaries of traditional film making. I became interested in the notion of immersive experiences, as you can no longer think of it as a flat surface but rather a window that you can cross and be a part of the experience. I wanted to create a full sense of presence. We witnessed people loved this and it then led us to virtual reality. When did you realize immersive experiences would be a big part of your career?
The very first thing we did in cinematic virtual reality was to film a musician playing piano. It was just a moment with an artist
we liked. And it was… what it was like to be with him and feel what he feels writing music. When we finished that production and started showing it around, people were overwhelmed with connection, something they had never felt before. We realized that was powerful and realized we were only scratching the surface of what this could be. So, we knew we needed to let go of traditional film making and grow this art form.
You have co-directed over 30 immersive experiences. Other than The Infinite, which one was your favorite and why?
The VR experience that we did that changed us and changed our trajectory the most was “Strangers with Patrick Watson,” our very first one. It functioned in a very minimalistic way. It’s very simple but very powerful. It’s a single moment in time you are experiencing and its very powerful. We still pursue this same core of emotion.
A couple years later we did “The Peoples House with Barack and Michelle Obama.” We were at the white house filming in the final year of his administration. We were filming Presidential

“...you get to experience a glimpse of the overview of space. Stepping out of the capsule and seeing exactly what the astronauts see.”
memoir and looking back at the last 8 years to capture his presidency. This was a very impactful experience as well as VR was still considered to be in its infancy and to have President Obama wanting to be involved opened a lot of doors for us. You won Primetime Emmy Awards. How did that feel?
It felt great for the Barack Obama project, and we were lucky enough to win a second Emmy a few years later. Both times it felt extraordinary as we felt this art form is being acknowledged by the academy. It makes us feel that this art form is making progress and getting more and more to a mainstream audience. Being so technological, what do you do for fun?
I am not a highly technological person. I employee the specialists. My expertise is story telling. For fun I love to woodwork, as it totally grounds me. How did the idea of Infinite come about? And what were some of the challenges you faced? We sent those virtual reality cameras to space in 2018, and we captured images for 2 ½ years. We then realized the power of these images, as you weren’t watching a film about space, but rather you would feel like you were there with the astronauts. It was originally supposed to be a 4 part for VR users, but that seemed too small so we wanted to bring the experience to audiences as a touring show. That
way we felt we could show the experience in its original format. Then we partnered with Phi studious, and we created a whole new form of show and now it’s the largest VR experience ever produced. Why should our readers buy tickets for Space Explorers: THE INFINITE?
There are 2 things that audiences respond to in the show. The first is you get to experience a glimpse of the overview of space. Stepping out of the capsule and seeing exactly what the astronauts see. You get to see the totally immersive experience of planet earth. There is nowhere else you can experience that unless you see the show. The second, is the experience you get with the astronauts. You are there with them and you see them life size and you feel like you are one of the crew members interacting with them. For these 2 reasons I think your audiences would love the show! It’s a fully satisfying show for audiences.
The Infinite: An Immersive Experience is approximately 45 minutes (35 minutes of which are in VR), and lifts off through September 2 (What a great day, it’s my birthday…LOL); Tuesday - Thursday 4-9pm; Fridays 2-9pm; Saturday’s 10am to 9pm and Sundays 10am to 8pm. Tickets are: $45-50 for adults. $35-40 for students. $2530 for children ages 8-12 at Kravis.org. For more information go to Felixandpaul.com
