Planning your wedding is one of the MOST exciting things you will ever do. As you begin, you may feel a little daunted by your “to-do" list - but, who said wedding planning had to be stressful? At YWE, leave the stress at the door and ENJOY making those wedding dreams come true. With around 150 wedding suppliers under one roof, waiting to meet you and willing to offer advice on all things “wedding”, it couldn't be easier, so let’s start ticking off that list.

Saying “I do” - only you know how you’d love to share your vows, so take the chance to speak to celebrants in person, compare and contrast, from church weddings to Registry weddings and civil ceremonies, it’s up to you. And as you ring in the changes to your lives together take the chance to meet our talented jewellers for rings to tie that knot.

Venue - YWE is packed with venues large and small, hotels, castles and stately homes, no matter your budget, there’s sure to be one that’s just right for you, and don’t forget to pay the piper to welcome you and your guests to the most special of days.

You may not “need” a wedding car but you will fall in love with “Archie VW" or the mini-me landrover and why not ensure no one has to drive home - not quite a coach and horses but certainly one of our coaches will be just the ticket!

Style - whether it's rustic chic, elegant, formal or all out glam there are plenty of experts to help you with styling your venue to fulfil your dreams. And why not add a horse box bar or an icecream cart or a little spanish street food for when your guests get peckish, as they dance the night away to a foot tapping wedding band or DJ. Why not mingle music with magic to keep your guests entertained, or try “Marryoke” (that’s a thing!), a singing waiter, a funky photobooth or mini golf …

Balloons, Fireworks, Flowers - from bouquets to flower walls, we’ve got it covered … Looking for someone to take care of your furry friend, we’ve got it covered… Setting the tone with the “save the date” card, invites and all things stationery, no problem… Choosing the centrepiece cake could not be simpler, let your taste buds do the talking, try before you buy, you won’t be disappointed…and wedding favours with a difference will remind your guests of your fabulous day!

The “big day" will pass in an instant so capture all those precious moments. Chat to awarding winning photographers and videographers to find the style that’s right for you - after all a picture says a thousand words …

Planning your perfect day and looking for those on trend details to incorporate into your wedding day? Then you have come to the right place...

Bridal Fashion Week 2023 has confirmed that brides too are embracing colour and searching for something beyond white, we also saw billowing sleeves, detachable skirts and sheer fabrics float down the runways.

Think outside the box when it comes to your ceremony décor, from hanging greenery to statement arches, there are so many ways to make your ceremony space unique to you. This will also help to make your wedding photography even more breathtaking.

No one was able to venture too far during lockdown, but with horizons broadening couples are choosing to venture further to create their perfect day. Hence wedding transport is back, not just ribboned cars, but an abundance of different types of vehicle to suit all locations is now available.

Continue your bright colour theme through to your wedding cake, including swipes of bold colour, accompanied by co-ordinating flowers or stencilling, elevating even the most simple classic cake with a touch of texture or a sprinkling of gold leaf from centrepiece to statement piece.

One of the biggest trends we're predicting for 2023 is bold and unique colour palettes. Say goodbye to bridesmaids in pastel shades. More and more couples are opting for daring and unforgettable colour schemes that truly reflect their personalities.

While gold jewellery has never been out of fashion expect to see more brides favouring yellow gold over white gold or silver jewellery right now.
