Volume 61, Edition 32, Monday, December 18, 2023 It’s worth a trip to the local bank to see what Casey Davis is wearing during this Christmas season. Most likely it’s a green or red jacket. I haven't seen Christmas pajamas yet, but I have a feeling that’s coming. And if you think his wardrobe is festive, you should see his house on Davis Street. He’s giving Kevin Bouse a run for his jedi bucks. Charles R. Thompson Gymnasium at the Howe Middle School campus will turn 55 years old on Thursday as the first game was played on December 21, 1968. The gym was constructed for $168,000 by Langford Construction Company and had a seating capacity of 1,000. The initial game was between Howe and Pottsboro girls where Howe won 50-34. The boys’ first game ended with the Cardinals winning 49-37. Charles R. Thompson was Superintendent of Howe for 24 years and a teacher/ principal for 13 years prior. We don’t generally worry about things that happen outside of our fair berg, but what a week for Gunter. They won the state championship in football and all of their city council members resigned at the same time. If only there were a Gunter Enterprise. When Howe Head Coach Jay Forsythe first came to town, he preached that he would change the way basketball has been played here by instituting an aggres-

sive defensive approach. That style coupled with a halfcourt game that slowed the game down saw Howe improve defensively over 14 points in his first season in the

2020-21. Friday night, his style was rewarded in defensive fashion as he reached the 50– win mark at Howe. The Dogs (9-4) defen(Continued on page 4)

Lady Bulldogs open district with 36-9 win over Bonham, have won 8 out of last 9 games The Howe Lady Bulldogs (12-5) are red hot and entered district in fine fashion with a 36-9 shellacking of the Bonham Lady Warriors on Friday night. The Lady Bulldogs didn’t allow single digits to an opponent in any of the previous four seasons and the last feat of such nature is unknown. What is known is that Howe is only allowing opponents 32.24 points per contest while they, themselves are averaging 43.88. One more win and Coach Anderson’s girls, in her second year as head coach, will match the entire total from a year ago. That means with Gunter in the district, it’s always a long wait. Howe had three players named 2nd Team All-District in Ethan Mayo (defensive end), Jonathan Garcia (kicker), and Braden Ulmer

(linebacker and receiver). Honorable Mention went to Eli Stoner (safety), Charlie Vera (defensive tackle), Dillon Patterson (center), Charlie Turner (defensive tackle), Kolin Murphy (safety), and Will Ingram (offensive guard). All-Academic went to Charles Fuhr.

sively annihilated Henrietta on Friday as they held the Bearcats on their home court to a tune of 70-25. This was after thumping Callisburg 63-39 at home on Tuesday. Against Callisburg, Howe never trailed from the opening bucket and ended the first period with a 16-6 lead. That lead was carried to 33-18 and 5032 after three. Howe shot 52 percent from the field and were led by Jacob Campbell’s 30 points and 11 rebounds. Anthony Lowder added 10 points and Parker Dunnihoo added eight. Other scorers were Noah Riley (7), Kaleb Taylor (4), and Cooper Jones (4). The long road to Henrietta saw Howe

jump out to another quick start and again never trailed at any point in the game. Howe only allowed the Bearcats double-digits in only one period (10 points in the third). The Dogs led 18-4 after the first and commanded a 32-7 halftime lead. After a 12-10 third period win, Howe stepped on the gas again and closed out the fourth with a 23-8 run. The Bulldogs shot 54.9 percent from the field and his five 3-pointers. Campbell’s 20 points led Howe with three others reaching double-digits. Lowder finished with 13 while Dunnihoo and Jones each had 12. Other scorers were Riley (6), Braden Ulmer (2), and Taylor (2). Howe will open district play Tuesday night at home against Pottsboro.

City of Howe SECONDS COUNT IN AN EMERGENCY! That's why the City of Howe has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices). The system is capable of dialing 60,000 phone numbers per hour. It then delivers a pre-recorded message describing the situations to a live person or an answering machine in the affected area possibly including instructions requiring action on the part of the recipient. Once the situation is remedied, another call will be placed to the area signaling that the issue has been addressed and that normal activities can be resumed. The following information is required to add a telephone number into the "CodeRED" database: first and last name; address (physical address, no P.O. boxes); city; state; Zip Code; and primary phone number. The system works with cellular phones but requires a valid street address. When entering information, please fill out all of the screens because the newest data entered will replace the old data. Texas History Minute Millions of people around the world rejoice as Christmas approaches. It is a time of family, friendship, gifts, and songs. In Ken Bridges 2022, Americans spent $178 billion on Christmas. This year, more than 115 million Americans are expected to travel to celebrate the holiday. In the United States, Christmas traditions have changed steadily over the years; and millions still hold faithful to the original purpose of veneration of the birth of Christ and celebrating the message of peace and harmony. Early Christians celebrated Easter more with the death and resurrection of Jesus as the embodiment of Christian ideals. However, by the fourth century AD, the birth of Jesus also began to be noted with special church observances also, quite literally, the "Christ Mass." However, it was a matter of some debate when it should be observed. Some marked the birth of Christ on March 28, while others noted November 18. Neither the Roman Empire nor Hebrew officials in Judea kept birth records, so there was no certainty as to the particular day. In the early centuries after the crucifixion of Christ, Christians faced brutal persecutions, torture, and executions for their faith, so the message of Christ's birth and the promise of God became more important than the particular calendar day. After the legalization of Christianity within the Roman Empire in the fourth century, Pope Julius I declared around AD 350 that December 25 would be the official observance, but it was only a special church service and not seen as a gift-giving occasion. The Christmas Eve mass or communion service is still an important Christmas tradition for many American families and Christians worldwide. By the sixteenth century, Christmas slowly became more than a church service. The tradition of the Christmas tree originated in Germany in the 1500s when candles were attached to evergreen trees. In Germany especially, the day became a celebration noted for singing, parties, feasts, and drinking. The Puritans who arrived in New England in the early 1600s were appalled by such displays, which they considered sinful. As a result, Puritan leaders banned observances of Christmas well into the eighteenth century. In Massachusetts, Christmas was against the law for more than 20 years in the late 1600s. In fact, it was knowledge of the differences by which New Englanders and Germans typically observed the day that inspired George Washington to

cross the Delaware River on Christmas Night 1776 to stage a surprise attack on the Hessian outpost at Trenton, New Jersey. After a brutal series of losses that summer and fall, Washington knew he had to turn the war around. He knew the German mercenaries the British had hired to pursue them would be too distracted by their own Christmas parties to suspect an attack during winter. At dawn on December 26, he surprised and overwhelmed the exhausted and hungover Hessian revelers to change the course of history. German settlers brought many Christmas traditions to the United States, particularly Christmas trees, by the late 1700s and a number of notable Christmas carols, such as “Silent Night” and "O Christmas Tree," were originally German. But Christmas as a holiday emerged slowly. Louisiana was the first to declare Christmas a state holiday in 1837, and only a handful of states followed suit within the next few years. It did not become a federal holiday until 1870. Even the tradition of exchanging gifts did not emerge quickly. However, the gift-giving tradition expanded rapidly in the 1820s and 1830s, with merchants quickly looking to capitalize on the holiday. Writers such as English novelist Charles Dickens with A Christmas Carol (1843) and American writer Clement Clarke Moore with "A Visit from St. Nicholas" (1823) helped popularize Christmas as a gift-giving time. Christmas trees began to be sold widely across the North in the 1850s, with the first electric Christmas lights sold in 1882, but many families did not have Christmas trees until the early 1900s and most ornaments were handmade. The day's message of peace was not lost. On Christmas Eve 1814, American and British diplomats signed a peace treaty ending the War of 1812. A century later, on Christmas Day 1914, Allied and German troops staged an impromptu cease-fire during World War I to mark the spirit of Christmas. Christmas is celebrated today even in non-Christian households as the spirit of giving and peace has transcended its original religious meaning for some. Far from the shopping crowds, Christmas still has a magical place in the hearts of young and old alike. In a quiet moment, many remember that Christmas is still a time of generosity for others. And Christmas is still a time of peace in our hearts and in the world, as we are reminded of the gift of one precious life, of brotherhood, and of the harmony for which the holiday was born.

Rebellion hides behind the mask of pretending Last week we talked about how common it is for many Christians to talk about how they love, worship, and serve God, but could some of this be Dr. Billy Holland their imagination? Maybe a misunderstanding or could it be a deception? There are sobering Bible passages that talk about our works on earth and our heavenly rewards such as Matthew 7:21-23. “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?’ Then I will declare to them, I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.” What could this mean? We’ve heard it’s not how much we do, it’s about knowing His will and doing what He says. It’s not popular, but even good deeds are not rewarded if we are doing them for the wrong reasons. It should be no surprise that religious service can become a routine where we just mindlessly go through the motions. Paying sincere homage to God has nothing to do with trudging through traditional rituals just because someone said we should do it. Even if everyone we know believes a certain way, we must know what God is speaking to us. We notice a passage in Matthew chapter 15 and verses 7 through 9, where Jesus stands boldly against people who pretend to be something they are not. “You hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, This people draws near unto me with their mouth and honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. In vain they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Have you ever been guilty of playing the game? Sin is not something that sneaks up behind us and captures us against our will. We know about sin and always have the choice to ignore it or entertain it. This is called “freewill” where we decide what is good and evil and this can be traced back to the Garden of Eden when Eve and Adam decided to disobey God. No one made them eat

the fruit the same as no one makes us daydream about sin and partake of it now. Romans 12:2 declares that our mind must be transformed and renewed so we will not be controlled by the desires of our carnal nature. Living holy is possible, but no one said resisting temptation is easy. We might sing about being a dedicated warrior for God, but is this something we spend a lot of time praying about? Sin is like one of those prickly burrs that cling to our clothes when we walk in high weeds. We can ignore them, but eventually, we have to sit down and intentionally pull them off because they will not let go on their own. Sadly, there are more people than we can imagine who do not want to resist their sins. Some people are sneaky and can wear a mask even in the church and do not want to hear about how it’s wrong to live a double standard. These Jekyll and Hyde characters are filled with pride about their ability to disguise themselves as followers of Christ when they have a closet full of things they would be embarrassed about if they were exposed. Our sin hurts God. He sent His Son to die for our sins and yet some people love these sins more than they love Jesus. How can we love sin and love God at the same time? In Luke 6:46 Jesus says it like this, “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and refuse to do what I say?” This is not a fluffy statement in the least. Romans 6:16 reminds us, “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death or obedience unto righteousness?” There are only two choices and our actions prove who we love. As painful as it might be, we recall the old saying, “Actions speak louder than words.” When Christians can be comfortable in their sins, they have crossed the line into an apathetic and dangerous attitude. The Holy Spirit will convict when someone drifts away, but we can ignore Him and fall deeper into a backslidden state. God is calling for all of His lukewarm sheep to come back into His fold today. Dr. Holland is a Christian minister, chaplain, and author. Read more about the Christian life and his books at billyhollandministries.com

The Patriot Pony

2020: The “Transition Integrity American life expectancy plunges Project” (TIP) was plotting a color in wake of COVID vaccine… revolution if Trump won fair and square… Yet, our esteemed experts seem unable President Trump was up against the wall in 2020. Between the so-called “pandemic” and the tsunami of sketchy and illegal mail-in ballots, his chances were slim to none. And if those weren’t enough, the U.S.-led color revolution that was waiting in the wings would have surely sealed his fate. Mike Benz, the executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online, weighed in on the treacherous 2020 plot that he says was led by a US group going by the laughable name “Transition Integrity Project” (TIP).

You need to watch it. Your homework is to watch it. pic.twitter.com/ HIRPEkxU1t — Mike Benz (@MikeBenzCyber) December 5, 2023 Why wouldn’t U.S. forces employ their internationally proven sabotage tactics against their own so-called “tyrannical dictator,” more accurately described as the only man capable of exposing the entire deep state apparatus?

w/ @bennyjohnson pic.twitter.com/ xs8oJLjdFo

Speaking of shadowy groups, the infamous Election Integrity Project (EIP), linked to the DHS, targeted Dr. Darren Beattie, the founder of Revolver News. They tried to censor Dr. Beattie and Revolver News for their investigative reporting on “color revolutions.” The focus of our reporting was on how experts in color revolutions, traditionally employed internationally to overthrow so-called “authoritarian leaders,” were using similar tactics domestically against Trump and his supporters. This is precisely what Mr. Benz is describing as well.

— Mike Benz (@MikeBenzCyber) December 13, 2023

You can read that fascinating and rather disturbing article here:

If you’re curious about the mechanics of a U.S.-led color revolution, Mike Benz has a must-watch clip for you:

DHS-Linked Org Deploys Dangerous New Censorship Tools Against Revolver News for Color Revolution Reporting

While the "Election Integrity Partnership" (EIP) was censoring millions of pro-Trump tweets ahead of 2020 election day, a team of high-level DC operatives in the "Transition Integrity Project" (TIP) were plotting a color revolution if Trump won fair & square

This is the 2002 film "Bringing Down A Dictator" about how the U.S. State Dept, CIA, and NGO blob swarm orchestrated a color revolution inside Serbia to regime change Slobodan Milosevic.

Unfortunately, given the sinister and treasonous strategies from 2020, it’s probably safe to assume that these same diabolical forces are preparing something similar, if not worse, for 2024.

Since the introduction of the COVID vaccine, there’s been a significant change in our way of life, or rather, the lifespan of Americans, as life expectancy has experienced an alarming downturn. We’ve also been seeing injuries related to the vaccine, often downplayed by the media and leftwing groups, and a concerning number of “sudden deaths” among healthy, young Americans. And this isn’t some random speculation or wild conspiracy theory. The alarming increase in young people suffering heart attacks is a real and present issue. Spectrum Local News: If you spend time on social media, you may have seen the hashtag #DiedSuddenly. It’s often tied to the idea that people are dying off in large numbers because they received the COVID-19 vaccine. Various experts say this is not true. However, they are on to something that is true. There has been an increase in younger people having heart attacks, a trend that started before 2020 and then sped up during the pandemic. A study last year by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles shows heart attack deaths were up for all age groups in 2020 and 2021. But the largest increase was in the 25-44 age group, a 29% jump during those years. It’s something doctors are now starting to better understand. By now, it’s clear to many that our socalled “experts” are buffoons who are more driven by political ideology than actual science and facts. Therefore, their oddly quick dismissal of any connection between the vaccine and the sudden deaths of young, healthy people seems absurd, almost like another partisan COVID scam, especially when all the evidence keeps pointing in one direction. The shocking drop in life expectancy is a stark reality, occurring in the aftermath of the COVID vaccine rollout.

or unwilling to see any connection. Doesn’t that strike you as odd? FDA : Life expectancy decline is CATASTROPHIC YOUNG PEOPLE DROPPING DEAD DAILY Our Country is in trouble on many levels.

The Covid 19 vax causing clots and sudden death but MSM afraid to report the TRUTH YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR GREATEST ASSET; DO EVERYTHING TO PROTECT IT pic.twitter.com/ Nte2Z6M6SW — TRUTH NOW (@sxdoc) December 15, 2023 In addition, Dr. Robert M. Califf is very worried about what he’s seeing. Here’s some of what he said about the “catastrophic” drop on X: We are facing extraordinary headwinds in our public health with a major decline in life expectancy. The major decline in the U.S. is not just a trend. I’d describe it as catastrophic. JAMA Internal Medicine published earlier this month that our overall life expectancy has dropped to 76 years, and remarkably, that male life expectancy in the U.S. has dropped to 73 years. We are facing extraordinary headwinds in our public health with a major decline in life expectancy. The major decline in the U.S. is not just a trend. I’d describe it as catastrophic. — Dr. Robert M. Califf (@DrCaliff_FDA) November 30, 2023 Dr. Califf hesitates to connect the timing of these issues with the COVID vaccine and suggests that government intervention could help increase life expectancy. We see it differently. It’s likely that we’d all live a lot longer if the government got out of our business.

Epic new study just revealed the true horror and lies behind the vaxx… A recent study published in Nature showcases a groundbreaking, inhalable COVID vaccine. Administered in a single dose, it promises robust mucosal immunity and protection in multiple species, including non-human primates, and is effective against all variants, preventing transmission. This revelation has sparked intense debate about the original Big Pharma vaccine that was feverishly distributed world-

wide. This new study implies that the initial vaccine was never designed to stop the virus’s spread. This raises a critical question: why on earth did governments around the world push so strongly for everyone to get vaccinated? Here’s what author Hans Mahncke had to say about this bombshell new study: There's a scandal of epic proportions brewing here. A new study in Nature now asserts that mRNA "vaccines" (Continued on page 28)

Conservatives unhappy with Speaker Johnson over defense bill passage with FISAreauthorization

By Nicholas Ballasy House conservatives are unhappy with House Speaker Mike Johnson's handling of the defense bill passage, which included temporary Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act reauthorization. Republicans and some Democrats have been calling for changes to FISA's Section 702, which deals with federal surveillance of U.S. citizens abroad. House GOP leaders pulled two FISA reform bills from the House floor and the National Defense Authorization Act passed with a temporary FISA extension through April 19. More House Democrats voted in favor of the NDAA than Republicans. The NDAA passed in the Democratic-led Senate 87-13. "I love our military. That’s why I voted for the NDAA passed this summer under Speaker McCarthy that included a 30% pay raise for junior members of the military. But the NDAA negotiated by Speaker Johnson, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell and Hakeem Jeffries removed that pay raise," said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. "Not only that, it didn’t remove Ukraine funding and doubled it to $600 million, funded abortion vacations, and kept trans in our military. Worst of all, they shoved the FISA spy court into our defense bill. The NDAA should NEVER reauthorize the weaponization of our justice system that Joe Biden’s DOJ and the FBI are using to spy on American citizens," she added. Other conservatives vented their frustrations with the NDAA process. "More Dems just voted for the BAD NDAA deal than Republicans. I voted AGAINST it because the Senate stripped most of the things that made it a good bill in the summer, and they added the FISA extension without reforms," Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., the

Good also said in a statement that "unfortunately, the NDAA also promotes radical Green New Deal policies, implements anti-Second Amendment provisions which would increase the Federal government’s ability to track and control firearm ownership by servicemembers, and is a green light for the radical agenda of Secretary Austin and General Milley." Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., said the House Freedom Caucus met with Johnson about FISA and the NDAA and emphasized that Congress has the power of the purse and they should exercise it. The congressman said he would have liked to see the House stay in session longer to hash out FISA reform and the NDAA rather than pass the NDAA with reauthorization of FISA included. "Why are we at the beck and call of Chuck Schumer and the Democrats and Hakeem Jeffries?" Norman said on the "Just the News, Not Noise" TV program. "When I found out that funding for historically black colleges are in this bill, what's that? What has that got to do with national defense? Nothing." Norman said there are "two cancers in this country" right now. "The cancer of overspending to the tune of $33 trillion and counting. And then the invasion at the border, which is a national security threat," he said, noting the record number of suspected terrorists who have been apprehended at the border this year. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., slammed the NDAA ahead of the final vote on the House floor. "I regret that I rise in opposition to the FY24 NDAA because there is a great deal of good in it. But only in Washington must we bring a bill to the floor so that we are able to militarily confront China, while at the same time embracing the policies that make the United States more like China," he said. "This bill is insufficient to deal

with the structural challenges that we see at the Department of Defense where they have veered substantially left. It does not deserve an affirmative vote with the unnecessary and uncalled -for extension of FISA spying authorities that we know have already been abused."

Vaxx were by their very nature never able to stop the spread. Impossible in theory and practice. Yet that was the excuse used to force everyone to get injected with this stuff. https://t.co/ UD6OjBxvYy pic.twitter.com/5AHO KYbxmE — Hans Mahncke (@HansMahncke) December 13, 2023 According to these experts, the vaccine simply doesn’t work and was never intended to be effective. By Ben Whedon Left-wing intellectual and independent presidential candidate Cornel West has suggested that President Joe Biden will not be a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, insisting that the commander-in-chief would decline to seek reelection. "I’m not even sure whether I’ll be running against Biden. Biden — I think he’s going to have an LBJ moment [and] pull back," West told Politico, further speculating that either Vice President Kamala Harris or California Gov. Gavin Newsom might replace him. If this study is correct, that means this vaccine was not created to stop the spread of the virus, leading many to question its true purpose. Hopefully, in light of all the injuries and sudden, unexplained deaths, we’ve learned a crucial lesson: any new COVID vaccine must undergo extensive testing and trials over many years before public release. Furthermore, considering what the Nature study has uncovered, those responsible for the current vaccine should be held accountable for what could be considered crimes against humanity. The independent's candidacy has largely remained a fringe effort, with polling consistently suggesting that he would attract 1-3% support in a general election.
