Volume 61, Edition 35, Monday, January 8, 2024 It’s good to see Coach Jim Fryar be recognized for his time in Howe. People become a fan of a team that wins because it makes them feel better about their environment. In Fryar’s first year as head coach, he took the Dogs to the third round of the playoffs. Kids in the old middle school looked up to his players such as Andreas Liss, Mark Wheeler, Stephen Ogle, and Andy Turner. That 1985 team set a bar for future Bulldogs teams to achieve. Some of them actually did in 1989. Most people think it’s normal for coaches to use foul language during practice and games, but that was never heard from any Howe coaches during that time. Coach Fryar, armed with his cheer coach wife Connie, made sure football was special. They went all out in Howe. And he was known for taking any psychological advantage he could get whether that included letting players wave towels on the kickoff team, wearing towels, headbands, and neckbands (frowned upon at that time), or warming up at Bulldog Stadium and bussing to Van Alstyne with a last-minute caravan to get directly off the bus and lineup for the anthem. During his five years, he and Connie made Howe a bona fide football town. And by the way, long before Jimmy Johnson yelled, “How ‘Bout them Cowboys,” the motto of the 1985 Bulldogs were “Howe ‘Bout Them Dogs!” It was even on a runthrough banner. Fryar, Beckemeyer chosen for Class of 2024 Howe Hall of Honor

former Howe Postmaster LeAndra Beckemeyer. Fryar came to Howe as an assistant for the 1984 season under John “Buck” Smith and was named head coach the following season. In that first season, he guided the Dogs to a 9-3-1 record and three gold foot-
balls. Fryar accumulated 41 wins while at Howe which is second to only Norman Dickey (51). During the time when only two teams qualified for the playoffs, his teams achieved that mark four times and only missing in 1987 with an 8-2 record. Fryar went on to win three
more gold footballs in 1989 before leaving for the same position at Jacksboro after that season. Beckemeyer is the longest-tenured postmaster in Howe history as she was sworn in back in 2001 and retired in May (Continued on page 2)

Noah Riley exploded in Bells for 19 points and 11 rebounds. Staff photo. As one fan stated, teams don’t respect the range of Howe Bulldogs’ forward Noah Riley and they are learning the hard way. Riley was 2-for-2 in 3pointers on Tuesday at Bells which along with his other 13 points and 11 rebounds helped lead Howe (14-6, 2-1) to a second half dominating
performance against the Bells Panthers. Against Gunter on Friday, the Tigers stalled the final 1:30 off the clock and were playing for the last-second gamewinning shot when Kaleb Taylor got a hand on the ball which landed (Continued on page 7)
The Howe High School Cheer program once again took part in the UIL Spirit Competition in Fort Worth January 46. Cheer Coach Monica Little said their routine evolved from being average to amazing and said the girls worked really hard each day to improve. The result was a finish of 12th in state. The squad finished third at the Dallas competition back in December but felt they needed to keep improving to do well in the UIL competition. “We had a lot of last minute switch-ups and changes that frustrated us

38th Annual Founder’s Day Festival set for May 4
Ben Zorawowicz was the Hot Dog Eating Champion on Saturday at the 37th Annual Founders Day Festival in Howe. Staff photo. The Howe Area Chamber of Commerce announced the plans for the 38th Annual Founders Day Festival on Wednesday. The event will again be from 4pm—8pm and will fall on its traditional first Saturday in May which is May 4. Vendor booths are $30 and food vendors are $40. Non-profit vendors will pay $15 and if there are overflow vendors, they will pay $25 which will open up later in the spring. Guns N More has announced that they will again sponsor rides and Rethink Wealth—Kristen Harkless will be a full sponsor of the event.
There will be the return of the Hot Dog Eating Contest sponsored by Don’s Smokehouse and a Kid Train yet to be sponsored. The chamber has become known for their turkey legs and sausage-on-a-stick at their events and that will also be sponsored by Don’s Smokehouse. The chamber is in negotiations with 903 Brewers to bring them back for the third straight festival. The dunking booth will also return for the second year in a row. Instead of a band, the chamber is looking at hiring a DJ for musical entertainment.

Howe Hump Day helped the chamber to grow membership to 86 at the end of 2023
The Howe Area Chamber of Commerce’s Howe Hump Day Business Over Breakfast event started off the year with great momentum as it was a much larger turnout for the first week in January than was anticipated and much larger than the first one held in January 2023. The chamber sponsors the event each January and The Llama Realty Group—Dana Thornhill will be the sponsor in February which will take place February 7. The idea of Howe Hump Day was first originated by chamber secretary Susan Garcia and the popularity of the networking meeting led to 26 new members for the chamber in 2023. at times,” said Little. “But in the end we had a solid routine that I think we were all proud of.” On Thursday, they first performed at 1:35 pm and then heard a couple of hours later that their performance qualified them for the top 20 in Class 3A Division II. At that point, Little said they ran to the3 holding room and started making more changes to try and continue to improve before the finals. “Being one of the top 20 schools in 3A -D2 was a huge achievement, but we wanted more,” said Little, who then got more as they finished 12th overall in the finals. Little, in her first year as cheer coach, said that this year has been a year of trial and error with lots of learning and reflection on her behalf. After taking over for Pam Kirby, who had been the
cheer coach for a long period of time, Little said that the girls have shown grace to her as a new coach and that she’s grateful for each of them. “We wouldn’t have made it this far without their hard work and commitment,” said Little. She praised her leadership with Preslee Harrell as captain and said she has been a true leader all year. “Co-captain Mikaylah (Komorowski) and Lieutenant Autumn (Owens) led fearlessly as well and we’re definitely going to miss them next year,” said Little. a

in the lap of Jacob Campbell who took it under the Gunter goal and raced the length of the floor and hit a layup as the buzzer sounded for a 43-41 win. It has become a theme for Howe to beat Gunter in the final moments of contests in recent years with a 5-overtime win last year and a buzzer beater by former Howe star Austin Haley two years ago. On Tuesday, Howe trailed 10-9 at the end of the first period, but then finished the game on a 44-24 run for the next three periods. Campbell may have led the team in points with 20, but Riley shot 7-of-11 from the field and 3-of-5 from the line to score 19.
Howe senior Reese Smith drives the lane at Bells Tuesday. Staff photo. The Howe Lady Bulldogs (15-9, 1-3) fought through a tough stretch of opponents last week facing Bells and Gunter. The result was what most teams would suffer—two losses. Howe lost to Bells Tuesday, 62-42 as the Howe girls were outmatched from start to finish. Howe’s leading scorer on the season Kendall Griffin paced Howe with 16 points, however, no other Lady Dog could reach double digits. Addison Bond was close as she added nine. Other scorers were Emery
Snapp (6), Presley Shockey (5), Reese Smith (3), and Tori Williams (3). On Friday against Gunter, the Lady Tigers shut down the Howe offense and held Griffin to only seven points. Snapp and Williams each led the team with eight points each. Other scorers were Shockey (4), Smith (3), and Bond (3). Howe will travel to Blue Ridge on Tuesday and host Leonard Friday night.

Post Parker Dunnihoo also scored 12 and finished with six rebounds. Other scorers were Anthony Lowder and Taylor with two each. On Friday, Campbell’s 17 points led the Dogs as for one of the rare times he didn’t land a 3-pointer. But he did shoot 5-of-6 from the line to help his team. Dunnihoo added 10 points to help in the effort. Lowder was 3-for-3 from long range to add nine points for the Dogs. Riley finished with seven points as Howe played without Cooper Jones on Friday due to illness. Gunter fought their way back and eventually took the lead on a 3-pointer with 1:49 remaining to give them a 4139 lead. Campbell then hit two free throws to tie the game just seconds later. That’s when Gunter went into stall mode and burned the remaining time off the clock before Taylor’s strip with five seconds left. Campbell needed exactly the 4.5 seconds to win the game. City of Howe SECONDS COUNT IN AN EMERGENCY! That's why the City of Howe has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices). The system is capable of dialing 60,000 phone numbers per hour. It then delivers a pre-recorded message describing the situations to a live person or an answering machine in the affected area possibly including instructions requiring action on the part of the recipient. Once the situation is remedied, another call will be placed to the area signaling that the issue has been addressed and that normal activities can be resumed. The following information is required to add a telephone number into the "CodeRED" database: first and last name; address (physical address, no P.O. boxes); city; state; Zip Code; and primary phone number. The system works with cellular phones but requires a valid street address. When entering information, please fill out all of the screens because the newest data entered will replace the old data. Texas History Minute Sandra Day O’Connor had already made a mark on history by the time she was in her forties. In 1973, the Texas Ken Bridges native became the first woman to head a state legislative chamber when she became Senate Majority Leader in the Arizona state senate. On August 19, 1981, the announcement of a woman nominee to the U. S. Supreme Court made headlines around the world in a time when rights for women were advancing across the globe. El Paso native Sandra Day O’Connor would make history again. Conservatives who had supported Ronald Reagan’s election as president were initially concerned about her record as a moderate in the Arizona legislature. O’Connor, however, calmly won over her critics. In spite of their initial misgivings, her nomination was nevertheless approved by the Senate unanimously on September 21. She was sworn in four days later. Judicial independence was a recurring theme in her career on the bench. O’Connor did not take an ideological approach. Instead, she looked at each case individually, which often made it difficult to predict how she would decide a question before the court. Throughout her long career, her decisions both thrilled and frustrated both liberals and conservatives. In the end, she earned the respect of Americans across the political spectrum. She tended to side with conservatives on the bench, including her old friend from Stanford Law School, William Rehnquist, who himself would become chief justice by 1986. O’Connor remarked that she felt a great deal of pressure being the first woman on the court. In the early 1980s, there were still very few women serving as judges, and she knew it would be difficult to name another woman to the court if she faltered and recognized her position as a role model for women looking to careers in the law. She often said, “It’s wonderful to be the first at something, but I don’t want to be the last.” Though she was still the newest member of the court, she quickly took a leadership role in deciding the culture of the court. Getting people to work together was a skill she brought to the Arizona legislature, and she began a Supreme Court tradition of the justices having lunch together to promote a sense of teamwork. Questions surrounding religion, firearms, civil rights, and abortion routinely came before the court. In 1983, she ruled with the majority in United States v. Place, declaring that it was not unconstitutional for drug-sniffing dogs to sniff luggage and property in a public place, but it was unconstitutional to hold such luggage until a police dog arrived. In 1986, in Webster v. Repro-

ductive Health Services, four of the conservative justices were ready to overrule the controversial Roe v. Wade decision of 1973 that legalized abortion. O’Connor’s vote in the Pennsylvania case was decisive in which she upheld the Roe decision but allowed limitations to be enacted. She was a skeptic in affirmative action cases before the court, but she often discussed the need for racial equality in education. As her time on the court continued, she began becoming more of a swing vote on close decisions that divided the court. In 1993, she warmly welcomed Ruth Bader Ginsburg as the second woman on the Supreme Court, and the two developed a respected working relationship though they disagreed on

Her husband’s health was uppermost in her mind as he slowly succumbed to Alzheimer’s Disease. In Bush v. Gore, she was part of the majority in the controversial decision that ordered the State of Florida to end recounts in the 2000 presidential election, a contest that came down to the results in that state. In the years afterward, she often wondered whether the court should have intervened at all. In 2003, she wrote the decision in Lockyer v. Andrade that upheld California’s “three strikes law” mandating life sentences for individuals convicted of their third felony. In 2005, she announced her retirement from the court and was succeeded by Justice Samuel Alito. She soon became the chancellor at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. She would still sit in on cases as a visiting judge on occasion. In 2009, President Barak Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom in honor of her work on the Supreme Court. In 2009, John O’Connor, her husband of 57 years, died. In 2013, she wrote a book on some of the interesting episodes in the history of the Supreme Court called Out of Order. In her later years, her brilliant mind began to fade. Alzheimer’s Disease struck and began to take its toll. She began to get more forgetful, and her physical health was declining. In 2018, she announced her retirement from public life, discussing her health issues. She spent her last few years in a nursing home in Phoenix, with her family and friends protecting her privacy and dignity. The nation’s ninety-first Supreme Court justice died quietly in December at age 93.

What does standing for God mean to you? It’s the New Year and everyone is celebrating a fresh start and making resolutions. However, simply wishing that our lives would change Dr. Billy Holland for the better, is nothing more than a fantasy or whim that will not just magically happen. It is said that over eighty percent of resolutions fail within the first month. Why? We must develop a strong vision of what we desire to be and vow that nothing will keep us from accomplishing our goal. Asking God to help us is the key as He also wants to the best for us. I heard a story today from my pastor that I will pass on. A man was battling his weight and one of his weaknesses was the donut shop which was on his way to work. He would stop in every morning as he could not resist the lure to indulge. He decided to start taking an alternate route to work to avoid the temptation, but one day he decided to go the old way. He saw the donut shop and prayed, “Lord, if you say it’s alright for me to stop, then provide a parking place right next to the door.” After circling the building eight times, sure enough, a parking place was open. We laugh at our human reasoning, but our free will along with our old nature is very persuasive. We usually do what we want to do. Christianity has many components. It’s Loving God and loving every person, it’s having a personal relationship with God, not being afraid to speak His truth; becoming a trained soldier, it’s a walk of purity and sanctification, it’s running a race, being a sacrifice, witnessing to everyone we meet, having a spiritual way of thinking, and for those who embrace Christ as Lord, it’s filled with persecution and Satanic attacks. We can sum the nature and character of God’s people down to a simple attribute and that is we are called to stand. Many will accept the gift of God’s grace for salvation and eternal security but are often not aware of the fine print details that are difficult. We like the good parts, especially when they are free, but standing for God will cost us everything.
The idea of standing firm for the faith has everything to do with believing what God has said. Let’s take a look at what the Bible says about standing for Him. Philippians 4:1 says, “Therefore, my brethren, dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown… stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved” In I Corinthians 15:1 the Apostle Paul writes of “the gospel… wherein ye stand” Romans 5:2 speaks of “this grace wherein we stand,” and Galatians 5:1 he challenges us to “Stand fast… in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free.” Do you believe we are at the end of the age, and Jesus Christ is going to return soon. How do we know? 6000 years have passed since Adam and Eve were removed from the Garden, and now we are living at the beginning of year 7000. This symbolizes the seventh day which is the day of rest and represents the 1000-year millennial kingdom. Does this reveal how near His coming is? What will He find us doing, and in this light, what does standing for God mean for you? How important is it to teach the younger ones about God? Children may outgrow their shoes, but they will never outgrow the positive and encouraging messages we leave with them. Are we too busy, are we afraid or do we not know what to say? It’s not about how smart we are or how much we can achieve, but our motive should be to allow God to empower us and work through us to accomplish His plans. In closing, an important lesson to learn about New Year’s resolutions is the calendar has nothing to do with our success. Just because it’s January, this will not make personal changes any easier (or more difficult, for that matter). If you are considering rearranging your life, realize that God can help, but the passion and faith to transform comes from within you. Ellen Goodman once said, “We spend January walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched and painted. Maybe this year, to balance the list, let us examine the depths of our souls…not just focusing on flaws, but seeking potential.” Dr. Holland is an ordained Christian minister, chaplain, and author. Regime Desperate to Tie Up Fedsurrection Loose Ends With Latest Epps Sentencing Document Earlier this week, the Department of Justice published a sentencing memo recommending that Ray Epps serve six months in prison on misdemeanor charges related to his behavior on January 6th. Back in September, we reported on the bizarre situation in which Ray Epps, nearly three years after January 6th, is hit with a misdemeanor charge for which the DOJ notifies him in advance and to which he pleads guilty. Read More: Darren Beattie Explains What’s REALLY Going On Behind the Ray Epps Charge and Guilty Plea Also Read: Merrick Garland Shoots Himself in the Foot With Sloppy Ray Epps Plea Deal: It’s Worse Than You Think For a sense of perspective regarding the DOJ’s 6-month prison recommendation for Ray Epps, consider that Enrique Tarrio, who wasn’t even in DC on January 6th, was sentenced to 22 years in prison. Ray Epps’ fellow Oath Keeper leader, Stewart Rhodes, was convicted of seditious conspiracy and sentenced to 18 years in prison. Epps’ sentencing recommendation is not only trivial in comparison to fellow heavyweights Stewart Rhodes and Enrique Tarrio. Prosecutors are requesting 30 months for Sandra Weyer, a 60-year-old woman with no criminal record and no record of violent behavior on January 6th. We have written extensively about Ray Epps’ involvement in January 6 and have compiled numerous damning video clips documenting his behavior. For a convenient refresher, we recommend the video below:
Interestingly, the DOJ’s sentencing document on Epps admits that Epps is guilty of “felonious conduct,” but not only do they spare him the seditious conspiracy charges given to other major Fedsurrection players, they spare him even the “obstruction of an official proceeding” felony charge (currently pending Supreme Court review) given to countless other January 6 defendants with far less egregious behavior. So why the display of mercy? One reason the DOJ gives for leniency is that Epps reached out to the FBI early and was allegedly forthcoming and cooperative with their investigation. The notion that Epps was cooperative is highly questionable; indeed, we have reported on countless discrepancies, if not lies, in his account of events recorded in interviews with law enforcement. Just to take one example, Epps at one point claimed that he thought it would be legal to go into the Capitol—a claim contradicted repeatedly by the fact that he prefaced his exhortations to storm the Capitol with “I’m probably going to go to jail for this.” Let’s assume for the sake of argument that Ray Epps did turn himself in early and was cooperative, as well as the fact that he called for a deescalation of violence in many instances. Many January 6 defendants notified law enforcement early on of their presence in the Capitol and enjoyed no such extreme leniency. The final extenuating circumstance the DOJ offers is by far the most bizarre. That is, the DOJ cites the fact that Ray Epps is a victim of “conspiracies” as a reason to provide leniency and to withhold felony charges for his admittedly felonious conduct. U.S. vs Ray Epps: While the DOJ is absurd to dismiss the overwhelming weight of evidence that Epps was not an authentic actor on January 6th, we applaud them for correctly crediting Revolver News for bringing this weight of evidence into and thereby shaping the national conversation on Ray Epps and January 6th—a fact of which we are deeply proud. The DOJ’s explicit concern for the socalled “conspiracy theories” at least helps to explain the peculiar leniency and sympathy Epps enjoys not only from the DOJ but from the media, as both the New York Times and 60 Minutes did highly favorable pieces on (Continued on page 12)
The Epstein Files John Does Identified
TECHNO FOG JAN 4 We finally know the names of some of the most important John Does referenced during litigation in Virginia Giuffre v. Ghislaine Maxwell – those who are accused of being alleged perpetrators and witnesses to Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal conduct. Early this evening, numerous documents were unredacted or otherwise unsealed in the Giuffre case, marking the beginning of the end of a long battle for documents and information – and really, accountability – that started with Mike Cernovich’s efforts back in 2017. Tonight’s batch of documents (made available for download by Seamus Bruner) is just part of the records that will be unsealed from the Giuffre case. There are numerous other records, including witness depositions, motions, and other filings, which are yet to be published on the Court’s docket. We anticipate more salacious materials, and more damning allegations against John Doe perpetrators, to be released tomorrow. Here are the most scandalous allegations from tonight’s documents – including the names of John Does and the details of the allegations they face. Bill Clinton Bill Clinton’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell is no secret. Epstein and Clinton had a suspiciously close friendship over the years, and Clinton even invited Ghislaine Maxwell to his daughter’s wedding. Yet mysteries still remain about Clinton’s activities with Epstein and Maxwell. The documents released tonight are only part of what will be unsealed with respect to Clinton. Some are interesting but not altogether scandalous, such as the fact that attorneys for Virginia Giuffre sought to depose Clinton as a witness. Then there’s the testimony of Johanna Sjoberg, a witness who was hired as a “masseuse” by Epstein when she was in her early twenties. She accompanied Epstein on trips, performed mas-
sages on him and his friends (nonsexual), and had frequent interactions with Ghislaine Maxwell - one of which involved Maxwell chastising her for not “finishing” her massage with Epstein. She testified that she knew Bill Clinton was a friend of Epstein’s, and that Epstein commented on Clinton’s preference for “young” girls:
Prince Andrew New details on the allegations against Prince Andrew have also surfaced. Ms. Sjoberg also testified that she met Prince Andrew with Virginia Giuffre (when Virginia was 17 years-old) in New York City, along with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Here is her testimony: Q: And do you recall who, if anybody, was at Jeffrey’s home when you arrived? A: Yes. When I first walked in the door, it was just myself, and Ghislaine headed for the staircase and said – told me to come up to the living room. Q: And what happened at that point, when you came up to the living room? A: I came up and saw Virginia, Jeffrey, Prince Andrew, Ghislaine in the room. Q: And did you meet Prince Andrew at that time? A: Yes. At Epstein’s New York home was a Prince Andrew puppet - apparently from a BBC production. Maxwell brought it down for Prince Andrew, and either Maxwell or Epstein took a scandalous photo of Prince Andrew with the girls. A: The put the puppet on Virginia’s lap, and I sat on Andrew’s lap, and they put the puppet’s hand on Virgin(Continued on page 12)

ia’s breast, and Andrew put his hand on my breast, and they took a photo. The more disturbing allegations against Prince Andrew came directly from Virginia Giuffre. Q: Please name a person that Ghislaine Maxwell directed you to go have sex with? A: Prince Andrew. Glenn Dubin Giuffre also alleged that she was directed to have sex with Epstein friend and billionaire and then-hedge fund manager, Glenn Dubin. Dubin’s ties to Epstein have been previously reported. Back in 2009, after Epstein was given his sweetheart plea deal from the Department of Justice, the Dubins hosted Epstein for Thanksgiving dinner, “telling his probation officer they were ‘100 percent comfortable’ with his being around their teenage daughter. Tom Pritzker Tom Pritzker is a billionaire businessman, serving as Executive Chairman of Hyatt Hotels and as Chairman and CEO of The Pritzker Organization. He’s also a member of the Aspen Institute. Giuffre alleged she slept with him once: Q: If I were to ask you the question how many times have you had sex with Tom Pritzker, do you know what that question means? A: I believe so. Q: All right. And what is the answer to that question? A: I believe I was with Tom once. David Copperfield Magician David Copperfield has also emerged in the latest Epstein release. While there are no sex-related allegations against Copperfield at this time, it’s clear from witness testimony that he was friends with Epstein and had at least some knowledge of what was going on at Epstein’s home. Perhaps he had been informed by Epstein or Maxwell that they had a recruiting process where girls were paid to find other girls. According to Johanna Sjoberg: Michael Jackson and Hollywood
Fedsurrection Even Michael Jackson, the King of Pop himself, was friendly with Epstein. He was at Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion at least once, as explained in Johanna Sjoberg’s deposition: Sjoberg would also testify that Epstein would speak on the phone with other celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Cate Blanchett: Frederick Fekkai Frederkick Fekkai is a French celebrity hairstylist and beauty entrepreneur. Sjoberg would testify that Epstein tried to “find some girls for him” while Fekkai was in Hawaii. Q: Did you ever hear or observe Jeffrey talking on the phone about Frederic Fekkai? A: Yes. Q: What did you hear? A: I heard him call someone, and say, Fekkai is in Hawaii. Can we find some girls for him? Closing Thoughts Many of the documents that were released today were previously released in the course of the Giuffre v. Maxwell litigation - albeit in a more redacted form. For example, one document from today details allegations that Ghislaine Maxwell took the passport of a 15 year -old girl. We reported on that document back in 2022. Also, as we discussed on December 19, 2023, not all the “John Does” are alleged to have committed wrongdoing. Today’s documents included “John Does” who were doctors to the victims, friends of the victims, and family members of the victims. It’s been unfortunate - and rather sad - to see the media and various morons with large platforms on social media (the list is long and distinguished) lump those innocent people in with the predatory John Does, as if all the names to be released were part of “Epstein’s List.” (If there is a positive to all of that, we guess it’s that you can really tell who doesn’t do the reading.) Anyway, the list of unknown John Does (as opposed to the known John Does, such as Sarah Kellen) who are alleged to have committed abuse is rather small. Today’s release doesn’t include all of the perpetrator John Does. There are more names set to be released in the coming days. And we’ll be here to report on the latest developments.

him, as well as figures like Adam Kinzinger. In every other case, these institutions and individuals are simply out for blood when it comes to January 6 defendants. Given Ray Epps’ background and behavior, he ordinarily would have been the perfect candidate as the poster boy for supposed “dangerous MAGA insurrectionists.” He’s the only person caught on camera repeatedly urging people, as early as January 5th, to go into the Capitol. On the 6th, he repeatedly directs the crowd to the Capitol before Trump’s speech is even over (in camo gear and a Trump hat, no less). He just happens to be prepositioned at the first decisive breach point on the west perimeter of the capitol and famously whispers into a person’s ear seconds before the breach occurs. And to top it all off, he had previously been the head of the Arizona chapter of the OathKeepers, the most demonized and heavily prosecuted militia group associated with January 6th. It is independently remarkable that the sentencing document does not so much as make a single reference to Epps’ former leadership role with the Oath Keepers, especially because the founder of the Oath Keepers, Stewart Rhodes, was convicted of seditious conspiracy and sentenced to 18 years. Below is a video of Epps and Rhodes together during Epps’ time as head of the Arizona chapter. Epps’ egregious behavior wasn’t always sugarcoated by the media and DOJ. Before Epps was treated to a fully dedicated puff piece by the New York Times, he was prominently featured in the New York Times’ own “Day of Rage” documentary, which featured scenes of Epps selected from mountains of footage to illustrate the New York Times’ intended point that the events of January 6 were planned in advance. Even folks at the FBI (presumably ones who didn’t get the memo that Epps was to be protected) found Epps’ behavior so egregious that he was one of the first twenty people included on the FBI’s most wanted list for January 6th. As we originally reported, Epp’s name was only quietly taken down in the middle of 2021, just one day after Revolver ran a major piece exploring the possibility of federal involvement in the events of January 6th. All this is to say that all of Epps’ egre-
gious behavior was known very early on. The fact that Epps wasn’t indicted on felony charges right away, but instead the DOJ left him alone for nearly three years before a half-hearted wrist slap misdemeanor charge, does not make any sense. Keep in mind the above facts on Epps’ behavior and background and the fact that the DOJ’s posture toward prosecutions was literally dubbed “shock and awe,” an ominous and perhaps unintentionally damning allusion to Bush’s shock and awe campaign in the Iraq war. It is simply inconceivable that the DOJ would decide to leave Epps alone because he called the FBI and “cooperated” by telling them he was at the Capitol. Ray Epps was left alone for nearly three years as those whose participation in January 6th was immeasurably less egregious got slapped with serious felony charges. Then Revolver News brings to national attention just how bizarre and suspicious Epps’ case is, to the extent that the entire Fedsurrection narrative gains national currency—a disaster from the perspective of the regime that has invested so much in the narrative of January 6th as a 9/11style domestic terror event in order to justify the weaponization of the national security state against Trump supporters. Now, with the damning facts about Epps out there in the open to the point that Epps has almost become a household name, the regime is desperately trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube. What could they possibly do to salvage the official, approved (and false) version of events? Well, they could slap a misdemeanor charge on Epps three years after January 6th and hope that the public is dumb enough to conclude, “Well, they were a little late, but they did slap a misdemeanor charge on him, so I guess there’s nothing to see here.” Sadly for the DOJ and the regime, the American public is not that stupid. Everyone sees this Hail Mary misdemeanor as the desperate attempt that it is to tie up the loose ends of the Fedsurrection on its third anniversary. Not only are the American people not buying it, but over the course of the next two months, things are about to get significantly worse for the Regime. We have some loose ends of our own on the Fedsurrection, and we fully intend on addressing them. Stay tuned.
