Homecoming King & Queen City Council Jake Sullivan hired to serve as Howe’s new police chief approves final budget The City Council met for the Regular and tax rate Tuesday meeting and after an Howe’s annual Fall Festival will take place this Saturday, September 28th at the Charles R. Thompson Gymnasium parking lot between the intermediate and middle school campuses. The event will take place from 5 pm— 8:30 and will include games, silent auction, food, and vendors...not to mention a lot of silly string, goldfish, and ring toss. The exterior of City Hall is getting a paint job for the first time since it was constructed as a post office in 1959. Primer began last week and the color of the building will be dark gray to match the fire department and the police department. The trim, however, will be white. The exterior of the building had some damage during the May storms which ripped a portion of the front of the building off. The front and back siding was replaced which had been in place since March of 1992 when the building was expanded. The work is being done by Rick Owens Construction. Sullivan is the current chief in Somerville, Texas where he has served that community since December 2020. During that time, he has brought that department up to be a credited agency and has reformed the entire department.
Howe received a total of 13 applicants for the chief position and Sullivan was the last entry and was chosen with three others as finalists to interview with the coun-
Jake Sullivan cil. Sullivan and his wife of 30 years were looking to be closer to their grown children who are now employed in the DFW area. Due to his commitment to Somerville, Sullivan will not start in Howe until October 21.

School discusses potential bond for facility expansion After a demographic report that was presented in May, Howe ISD Superintendent Kevin Wilson spoke to the school board on Monday night about the possibility of moving forward with a bond for campus expansion a year ahead of schedule due to the rise in student population. Wilson said that
Summit Hill Elementary is on pace to exceed capacity for that campus in the 2027-28 school year. After visiting with the district’s financial advisor, Wilson said the ISD does have bond capacity for a building project due to getting some of the current debt paid down.

The Howe Lady Bulldogs (11-18, 0-4) are still in search of the first district win of the season as they came away with losses with Blue Ridge and Gunter last week. After a Howe 25-22 opening set win against Blue Ridge on Tuesday, the Lady Tigers stormed back to win three straight by scores of 25-20, 25-12, and 25-18. Presley Shockey had 11 kills and 11 digs while Kamry Snapp totaled13 kills. Tabitha Bjorn racked up 14 assists and 10 digs and teammate Ayla Jones had 10 assists. Rylee Coffey finished with 16 digs.
On Friday night, Howe traveled to Gunter to take on the Lady Tigers. Like most teams, Howe was swept in three sets by scores of 25-11, 25-11, and 25-9. Shockey totaled seven kills and Snapp finished with seven digs. The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Callisburg on Tuesday and host S&S on Friday.

Construction costs have inflated since the price tag of $17 million for Summit Gardens which opened August 14, 2019. Wilson said they don’t have to do anything now, but due to the rising cost of construction at a clip of 10-12 percent annually, he said it could be in the best interest for the district, financially, to save money (approximately $2.5 million) on future construction costs and move forward a year early with the anticipation of that rising cost. As of now, the anticipated project would call for $24 million but could include other items of need for the district. If the district moved toward a bond election in May of 2025, construction would begin to complete the original build-out plan of Summit Hill Elementary as early as late summer of 2025 after the bonds sold and allowed for the rewards process. This means the campus could be ready to fill at capacity for the 2026-27 school year. The original design of Summit Hill was in phases to add an additional three wings and a gymnasium to the existing initial structure that opened in 2019. Wilson anticipated using the same architectural firm that was a part of the original design of Summit Hill could speed up the process and save the district money. He also noted that parking and traffic issues on that site could be addressed with the amount of property on the north side that the ISD owns at that location. “It’s going to be a concern, and people are going to ask that question so just know that it is being discussed,” said Wilson to the board. The first step in moving forward took place Monday night when the board approved a motion to appoint a LongRange Facility Planning Committee. “We need input from our community. That’s whose children we serve and
that’s who supports the measure,” said Wilson. “I think we need to put a committee together and discuss moving forward with them and discuss a timeline.” Wilson also suggested putting together a list that included adding Summit Hill Elementary and other options such as the Intermediate School which is on pace to exceed capacity in 2029-30. Adding on to Summit Hill Elementary could mean that grade levels are shifted to open up more space at the existing Intermediate and Middle School campuses. The middle school is projected to exceed capacity in 2030-31 and the high school in 2032-33. The district owns a 25-acre site which is designated for a middle school at the corner of W. Young and Smith Road. That could be re-examined, and the current high school could house the middle school. Wilson asked if they wanted to look at purchasing 100 acres for a future high school. “There are a lot of different ways to go and a lot of things to discuss,” said Wilson. “We need input from the community.” Von Gallagher of Gallagher Construction was in attendance at the meeting and gave input on the rising construction costs and made a suggestion to the board to produce a comprehensive plan for future needs. “If your developments take off and your growth takes off, you’ll have other needs,” said Gallagher. The board then made a motion to form a committee to study the scenarios and opportunities. Members of that committee, if they chose to suggest to the board the need to move forward with a bond proposal, would then form a political action committee to help garner support for the bond. If the board calls for a bond, it will need to be initiated in January 2025 which means the committee and district would need to do the study quickly to make that determination.

knocked Jordan Young to the turf to end Pilot Point’s final series with 21 seconds left in the game. Underneath the drama-filled fourth quarter was Howe’s interior defensive line that made the comeback possible. Charlie “Tank” Turner, Beau Stephens, Michael Weimer, Dylan Patterson, and Alex Mejia leveled up in the second half to suffocate the Bearcats run game. Pilot Point’s Josh Chumley had 17 carries for 139 yards in the first half but was limited to 24 yards rushing in the second half. Moments after Braden Ulmer and Kamry Snapp were crowed Homecoming King and Queen, Pilot Point won the coin toss and deferred to the second half. This gave Howe the ball first and they began as they left off in Bowie a week ago by punting on their four possessions totaling nine punts in the last 10 offensive series. Pilot Point’s first drive resulted in a Chumley 34-yard score on a quick trap through the middle. After a missed PAT, the Bearcats led 6-0 with 9:29 left in the first quarter. But they got a bonus two points on a safety when the ball sailed over the head and through the hands of punter Jonathan Garcia to make it 8-0 with 7:31 left in the first. On the Bearcats’ third possession which began at the Howe 38 yard line, quarterback Garrett Evans found tight end Dylan Hamblin open at the goal line on a 4th-and-3 play for a 12-yard score. The score became 15-0 with 49 ticks remaining in the first quarter. After Howe’s fourth punt of the game, the defense rallied to stop Pilot Point and forced a turnover on downs as Patterson and Turner stood up the offensive line. This gave Howe the ball at the Pilot Point 41 yard line where they took six plays to score on a 2-yard run by Ulmer with 8:25 left in the first half. The Pilot Point lead was cut to 15 -7. Pilot Point then put together their most impressive drive of the evening which took 11 plays and 6:03 off the clock to march 51 yards. But Howe held them to a 37-yard Torres field goal that would have been from 50. That left the score at 18-7 with 2:22 left. Going for the deep ball on the first play, quarterback Rylan Strong was intercepted by Ashton Williamson at the Bearcat 26 yard line, however, they just burned the remainder of the first half clock. Pilot Point began the second half with the ball but were forced to punt. The snap sailed over the head of Torres who picked it up and was smashed by Mejia for a 23-yard loss. Howe took possession at the Bearcat 39 yard line but eventually turned the ball over on downs. After forcing the Bearcats to punt again, Strong was intercepted for the second time by Williamson. However, Pilot Point gave it back to Howe on a
fumble at their own five yard line caused by Gage Carr and recovered by Mejia. This set up the electrifying Ulmer 95-yard touchdown where he busted through a gaping hole on the right side of the offensive line. As he raced up the field on the right hash, Hunter Newman was gaining on him and caught him at the 15 yard line. But Ulmer shed that tackle and finished the run to cut the Bearcat lead to 18-13 with 1:30 remining in the third quarter. The 2-point conversion was unsuccessful.

But once again, Pilot Point answered right back with a 4-play drive that spanned 47 yards and ended with a Caden David 6-yard touchdown. That gave the Bearcats a 25-13 lead with 36 seconds left in the third.
The two teams exchanged punts which set up a Bulldog drive of six plays that covered 44 yards which finished with Ulmer racing over from the nine yard line. After the Garcia PAT, the Bearcat lead was cut to 25-20 with 6:12 left in the game. Pilot Point was forced to punt again by the stingy defense, but again the ball sailed over the head of Torres into the endzone. Nine yards deep Torres took a swipe at kicking it out of the endzone but whiffed and Lankford picked the ball off the turf for the go-ahead touchdown. Howe took their first lead of the game at 26-25 with 3:53 left in the contest. Ulmer added a 2-point conversion and Howe led 28-25.
The Bearcats drove eight plays from their own nine yard line but were eventually faced with a 4th and 34 from their own 11 yard line. Evans completed the pass to Jones but fell shy of the first down marker. The Bulldogs had to take one snap on offense to seal the 400th win of the program and the second win of the season. Strong finished five of 12 passing for 12 yards and two interceptions. He also carried four times for 38 yards. Ulmer led Howe with 165 rushing yards on 11 carries and caught three passes for seven yards. Garrett Rodgers had nine carries for nine yards and Kolby
Howe vs. S&S preview McNutt caught one pass for five yards. Howe owns a 27-10 record in the series with S&S. While Howe played Sadler once in 1958 and beat them 320, that doesn’t count in the official book with S&S. The first game took place on September 22, 1961, where Howe won 28-6 at Bulldog Stadium. Howe won 11-straight from 1983 through 1993 including six-straight shutouts from 1987 through 1992. Howe set the school record with 76 points in S&S in 1991 which has since been broken with 77 points in Tom Bean in 2015. Howe currently has a six-game winning streak over the Rams that dates back to 2014. The last loss to S&S came in 2007 when the Rams walked away victorious with a 28-24 win. Howe has outscored S&S over the years by a margin of 1,017 to 438.

Trump and the 1960s Assassinations: By Dr. Robert Malone On September 15, 2024, the American people witnessed another attempt on the life of Donald Trump, a former President and a current presidential candidate. A candidate who the deep state, the administrative state, and the globalists profoundly fear. Simply stated, the blob views President Trump as a threat to both the current AND the new world order. As I have been watching the news, the alternate news, reading the would-be assassin’s rantings on his now-deleted Facebook and X accounts, it is hard not to think back to that period in American history in the 1960s when it appears that the government decided that it needed to remove certain political actors from the chessboard. In our recent book, PsyWar: Enforcing the New World Order, we wrote the following about this dark time in American history: “The PsyWar campaign on America goes back decades. Senator Rand Paul stated recently: “There was a coup, and we lost our government” The day of that coup was November 22, 1963. That was the day that John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. That was the day the U.S. government turned against its own people
and began a PsyWar campaign against all of us. We just didn’t know it yet. Nothing has been the same since. It has taken over fifty years to realize the extent of this PsyWar campaign fully, but now there is no denying it. A new book titled: “The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy: The Final Analysis: Forensic Analysis of the JFK Autopsy X-Rays Proves Two Headshots from the Right Front and One from the Rear” documents that President Kennedy was almost surely assassinated by the U.S. government, who also led the cover-up and the ensuing propaganda/PsyWar campaign regarding the events of his death. The author and scientist, Dr. David W. Mantik, uses modern imaging to prove that the wound in the president’s throat and the massive blow-out in the back of his head involved frontal bullet wounds. As Lee Harvey Oswald supposedly shot the President from behind the motorcade, this analysis provides data which refute the government’s analysis that he was the lone assassin does not hold up to scrutiny. This book presents clear and compelling testimonial and documentary evidence that the surgeons performed pre-autopsy surgery on the President’s head to remove evidence of the forehead bullet, as well as to gain access to his brain. Hence, they were able to “sanitize the crime (Continued on page 6)

scene” by removing bullet fragments as well as bullet tracks in the brain tissue. The forensic evidence is clear that the CIA, the FBI, and/or the U.S. Secret Service have been involved in and covered up the assassination of a sitting U.S. president [1]. As good as the forensic evidence is, there are now a vast number of books on the circumstances leading up to and after the assassination that reveal that Lee Harvey Oswald did not kill President Kennedy. In fact, there are books, studies, publications, and video reanalyzing the Warren Commission Report hearings and Exhibits, as well as the House Select Committee Report, records from the Assassination Records Review Board, the National Archives and Records Administration records, and testimony from many eyewitnesses (including the many witnesses, who were not allowed to speak to the Warren Commission). Taken together, this evidence works to prove that the Warren Commission Report was a sham with a predetermined conclusion and was never meant as a real investigation to determine who assassinated President Kennedy. One book that stands out as thorough and compelling on this subject is “The JFK Assassination Evidence Handbook” [2]. Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty authored another important book on this topic. Prouty was a former CIA operative who worked for the agency during this period. His historic account shatters what we have all come to believe about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. This book was the basis for Oliver Stone’s movie JFK. Prouty outlines how Kennedy’s death was a coup d’état, and he presents

strong evidence to that effect as well as details of the elite power base that was and is the hidden hand of the U.S. government [3]- what is often referred to as the “Deep state”. Our government not only lied about this to the American people, but they created a massive cover-up story, which included framing an innocent man for the murder. For over sixty years, our government has not only covered up this murder, but they also made up an alternate reality of facts that have been presented as truth to the entire world. In 1865, we almost lost our democracy due to the assassination of President Lincoln. Is November 22, 1963, the day when we truly lost our democracy to the deep state? Can we believe anything that we have since been told by our government? Why hasn’t any U.S. President come forward to tell the American people about what really happened that day? The assassination of President Kennedy was a pivotal moment in the history of the modern PsyWar campaign against the American people by a rogue shadow government that has persisted up until this day. The rogue government that instigated this psyops upon the American people is still in control. The U.S. intelligence community is the operational organization at the very heart of this PsyWar campaign, as well as the assassination. Full public disclosure of what has taken place and the dismantling of that apparatus is well past its due date. The censorship-industrial complex has restricted our constitutionally protected right to freedom of speech by interfering with and manipulating what we are
allowed to see and hear. With the advent of the internet, the tools available to this industry have only become more sophisticated.”

At a minimum, deep-state actors and statesponsored media outlets have been spinning dangerous rhetoric about how Trump is a threat to democracy and must be removed. Another scenario is that an alphabet agency was actually involved in the assassination attempt. At this point in time, that theory cannot be discounted. But getting back to the idea that propaganda promulgated by the government, government actors, the deep state, and state-sponsored media drove Ryan Routh to try to kill Donald Trump, read what Jimmy Dore wrote on X about a 2022 Newsweek propaganda video featuring this assassin: This is Donald Trump assassination attempt suspect Ryan Wesley Routh, he
Dr. Robert Malone was interviewed by Newsweek Romania in 2022. He’s a zealot for Ukraine war because he’s been fully propagandized by corporate media to support the war.
He has ZERO idea what the war is actually about, his mind is very childlike: “It’s a battle of good vs evil”, just like the corporate news told him. That’s how propaganda works. That’s why I warned TYT about pushing Russiagate; it would lead to a war and brainwashed guys like this. He has no idea what the war is actually about, so when Trump & RFK say they want to END the war, he thinks the moral thing to do is assassinate Trump. This is the direct result of corporate news & “independent” news repeating pro-war CIA talking points uncritically. Nobody in corporate news will ask, “Where was he radicalized?” because if you watch this video, it’s clear he was radicalized by corporate news right here in the United States. (Continued on page 7)

Here is the Newsweek video of Routh in 2022. The CIA collects such people. They are useful. Jack Posobiec has revealed that Ryan Routh appeared in another propaganda video for the AZOV BATTALLION in May 2022. The Ukrainian Azov Battalion is known for its neo-Nazi ideology and was incorporated into the Ukrainian National Guard in 2023. A rumor on X states that the CIA funded the Azov Battalion propaganda video. But no direct evidence of that was found.
What is clear is that somehow Ryan Routh ended up in these two videos— more evidence of a US government link with the assassin. The screenshot below references Mariupol, a city in southeastern Ukraine that the war has significantly impacted. The intelligence community is scared about a second Trump presidency. They are focused on the world order, the new world order - whereby such a win threatens Western hegemony. The BBC writes: The international world order is "under threat in a way we haven’t seen since the Cold War", the heads of the UK and US foreign intelligence services have warned. The chiefs of MI6 and the CIA also said both countries stand together in
"resisting an assertive Russia and Putin's war of aggression in Ukraine". In the FT op-ed, they wrote: "There is no question that the international world order – the balanced system that has led to relative peace and stability and delivered rising living standards, opportunities and prosperity – is under threat in a way we haven’t seen since the Cold War." "Successfully combating this risk" is at the foundation of the special relationship between the UK and US, they added. What is the intelligence community willing to do to protect what they see as the disintegration of their control? Bottom line: The attempt on President Trump’s life failed… again. At this point, the assassin, Ryan Routh, is in a Federal detention center somewhere. He is alive. Whatever he has to say will be edited through the filter of the FBI and DHS. Most likely, we will be propagandized that this person suffers from paranoid schizophrenia or some such story, which may or may not have an element of truth. It would surprise me if they allowed him any interviews with the MSM. The risk is that he will suffer an untimely death and will be Epsteined. Time will tell.

Anna Marie Vaught, 1955-2024 Anna Marie Vaught, 68, from Howe, Texas, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at home on August 21, 2024 in Howe, Texas. She left this world after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Anna was born on August 24, 1955, in Libertyville, Illinois to Ruby L Vaught and Robert L Vaught, Sr. The Vaught family moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma when Anna was age 5. She spent most of her adult life in Oklahoma and then the last 7 years in North Texas. Anna was a creative, spunky, sweet person. She was an artist, always spreading a little bit of whimsy wherever she could with her handmade magnets and ornaments. She was an avid lover of garage sales, thrift stores, and afternoons spent meandering around town with her friends. Anna’s faith was always a driving force in her life. Most of her friends were from Sunday School or bible studies that she had been a part of over the years. But her grandchildren were the greatest pride of her life. Anna spoke often in her final days about the fact that her six grandchildren were her legacy and that she couldn’t be more proud of them. Anna will be remembered best for her capacity to forgive, her scrumptious dry wit, and love for her family and friends. In hon-
or of her, let us strive to live fully, love deeply, and cherish every moment, just as she did. Anna is survived by her daughter and Anna Marie Vaught son-in-law, Sarah Marie and Cort Dellam Myrick, and her grandchildren Ruth Marie, Sadora Anela, Sarah Mae, Tommy Cecil, Avryn Rayce, and Jessica Elaine. She is also survived by three brothers James Vaught, Donald Vaught, and Jonathan Vaught, along with her sisters -in-law and countless nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Timothy Wayne Vaught and Robert L Vaught, Jr. A celebration of Anna’s life was held on September 21, 2024, at 6 PM at the Mosaic campus of First Methodist Sherman, located at 118 W Pecan Street, Sherman, Texas. There was a visitation reception at 5 pm for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grayson County Children’s Advocacy Center.

City of Howe SECONDS COUNT IN AN EMERGENCY! That's why the City of Howe has instituted the CodeRED Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child or evacuation notices). The system is capable of dialing 60,000 phone numbers per hour. It then delivers a pre-recorded message describing the situations to a live person or an answering machine in the affected area possibly including instructions requiring action on the part of the recipient. Once the situation is remedied, another call will be placed to the area signaling that the issue has been addressed and that normal activities can be resumed. The following information is required to add a telephone number into the "CodeRED" database: first and last name; address (physical address, no P.O. boxes); city; state; Zip Code; and primary phone number. The system works with cellular phones but requires a valid street address. When entering information, please fill out all of the screens because the newest data entered will replace the old data. Texas History Minute Dwight D. Eisenhower was a man who rose to great heights, but he was always a man of modesty. Like so many figures who excelled in AmeriKen Bridges ca, his rise was to prominence was far from certain, but a background of faith, hard work, and education pushed the odds in his favor. Though his time in Texas was short, his impact on the world was profound. He was born on October 14, 1890, in Denison. His given name was David Dwight Eisenhower, after his father. However, the name was later switched to Dwight David Eisenhower, reportedly to avoid confusion over having two Davids in the family. Reports conflict whether it was his idea or his mother’s insistence. He was the third of seven boys. His father, David Eisenhower, had attended Lane University to study engineering and had later opened a general store in the tiny farming community of Hope, Kansas. However, the business failed within three years because of the financial crises crippling farmers at the time, forcing the Eisenhowers to move. In 1889, his father found work in Denison as an engine wiper for the Cotton Belt Railroad for $10 per week. The growing family scraped by, but faith and education were a must in the Eisenhower household. The future president’s grandfather had been a preacher, and his father insisted on daily prayers and Bible readings. His mother, Ida, was a devout and determined woman whose family had escaped the violence of Civil War Virginia and became a pacifist as a result. She had even attended college, where she met her future husband. Though he became beloved by the nation as “Ike,” Eisenhower was one of several “Ikes” growing up. His oldest brother, Edgar, was called “Big Ike,” while the future president was simply “Little Ike.” Though his mother

discouraged the use of nicknames, the “Ike” moniker stuck with him the rest of his life. After the hard years in Denison, the Eisenhowers moved to Abilene, Kansas, in 1892. Eisenhower’s father picked up work as a mechanic at a creamery, and their fortunes steadily improved. As a child, Eisenhower was adventurous and athletic, exploring the outdoors and playing sports. He was very competitive with his older brothers, and his mother had once called him her “most troublesome boy.” Interestingly enough, his mother had taught him to cook, which he took to enthusiastically. A younger brother died at the age of four, but the family pushed on, relying on their faith to endure hard times. In fact, the Eisenhowers held Bible classes in their home for many years. Eisenhower was a star football player at Abilene High School. He had to repeat his freshman year because of a debilitating injury, but he persevered and graduated in 1909. In 1911, he won an appointment to the U. S. Military Academy at West Point. Eisenhower considered it a practical way to get a free education. His mother, however, was disappointed at his choice for a military life, but she did not stand in his way. He graduated in 1915 in a class in which 59 graduates would eventually become generals.
Eisenhower would have a long career of service to the nation. He rose to become Allied Supreme Commander in World War II, helping to secure the Allied victory against the Nazis. After World War II, he became the first Supreme Commander of NATO. In 1952, he became the first native-born Texan elected president, widely supported by state residents. Many schools, parks, and streets across the state are named for him today. Today, his birthplace is a state historic landmark in Denison, marking the beginning of what became an extraordinary life.
Loving God with all that we are In Luke 10:27 and Mark 12:30, we notice that both passages use a fourfold description to explain how we are to love God: Heart, Dr. Billy Holland soul, strength, and mind. In the Old Testament we find a similar command in Deuteronomy 6:5 -6, “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thine might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart.” It leaves out the word mind, but the Greek words for ‘heart’ and ‘mind’ translate the full spectrum of meaning in Hebrew for our inner sanctuary of devotion. We realize as a follower of Christ, the constant battle to be an overcomer for Him begins with allowing ourselves to be distracted from His presence. When our attention is drawn away from our vows to walk with Him and listen to His voice, we lose focus of our responsibility to to keep Him as our highest priority. To obey our Lord we must know what He is saying. We cannot love Him or others the way He demands if our attention is centered on worldly desires. When we love ourselves more than we love God we are out of balance and living a lukewarm existence. When we spend more time dwelling on things that please us than we spend with God, we have drifted far from the shore. Do we really care? A man wrote me the other day and asked how he can win the war against his addiction to porn. We serve whom we obey. The awareness of God’s presence includes thinking about Him while we are involved with everyday life. Whatever we are doing we can allow Him to be involved and this will help us resist the temptation to sin and make right decisions. To love God with our heart includes loving Him with our emotions. Will we have emotions in heaven? We can base our speculations on the fact that God has emotions. Since we are made in God’s image, our feelings are like His except His expressions are always
pure and righteous. We notice He displays responses such as anger, regret, sadness, grieving, sorrow, delight, happiness, gladness, kindness and compassion, and of course love. Emotions are how we perceive, discern, and decide. Trusting God in our personal relationship with Him is how we know Him and love Him with all of our hearts - all the time. Loving God with your soul includes knowing you were wondrously made by the Creator of all things. When you discipline yourself to be still and quiet, something deep inside of you just knows there is a God. When we look at all of the intricacies of the universe, our planet, and the human body, we realize only a divine designer can do that. Humans have a void within their souls that can only be filled by the one who made them. Once we accept this reality, we must go beyond knowledge and allow this truth to fill our soul with His joy and peace. Spiritual intimacy with God has no limitations except for our fear of becoming one with Him. Loving God with all of our strength is combining works with our faith. It's not being afraid to step out of our comfort zone and caring so much that we are driven to help others. True faith is one of the most talked about subjects, but is rarely seen because it requires love, strength, and courage. How passionate are we about evangelism? I pray that I never become so cold and numb that I no longer care about the lost and those who are suffering. If we read the Bible and the words are not put into practice it’s just information. All of my strength? Really? The lack of loving God with all of our heart, soul, and strength exposes even the most dedicated saint. Sermons and our worship songs say all the right things, but how much truth will we allow to change us? Loving God with our mind is our last word, and it includes crucifying our flesh daily so that we are mentally focused more on His plans instead of our own. If we are faithful, we will be fruitful. Let us humble ourselves and bow down in reverential fear of His holiness. He wants our lives to be all of Him and none of us, but we want to have some of Him and more of us. Dr. Holland is a minister, chaplain, and author. Read more about the Christian life at billyhollandministries.com
