Based in Charleston, South Carolina, The History Press brings a new way of thinking to history publishing: seek out titles written by excellent historians who are capable of making their area of expertise understandable to a wide audience. We hope to play a part in the revival of interest in local and regional history and to form an integral part of a healthy history community.
