arch reminds me of my favorite color – green. As people who’ve been through another long winter, we hope to see more and more of it as the earth transitions from winter to spring. And, of course, there is St. Patrick’s day – a day when everyone claims a bit o’ the Irish even if we don’t have a remote claim to it. And speaking of Spring – it is time to double down on your Wildly Important Goals and understand what the levers are that will get you from X to Y, as you prioritize your daily activities. One thing I hope you are considering is a trip to Kansas City for the HomeServices IGNITE conference on April 6, 7, 8. The conference will help rev you up and get you headed into the selling season with new energy. One more important thing about March in the Lincoln market is that DNP listings are a thing of the past, as the GPRMLS implements the Clear Cooperation rule, which is mandated for all MLSs by May 1 of this year. Please pay attention to best practices and don’t “publicly market” your Office Exclusive Listings. This makes it even more important for you to join the HomeServices of Nebraska Agents Facebook page to effectively see and post office exclusives (also remember BuySide helps with that!). Have a wonderful month and I hope to see you in Kansas City!

had a great turnout for the 20th Annual RAL Bowling Tournament. Thank you to Prosperity Home Mortgage and HomeServices Title who sponsored pizza, and to Home and Woods for sponsoring lanes. Over $4,500 was raised for HBAF! Also, a big shout out to Leighun Brabec who was a huge help in raising over $900 for the raffle, (almost double what we raised last year!) and of course, to all those who purchased raffle tickets!

GOI NG A BOV E & BEYOND: DAV E BOE C KNE R A note from Dave Boeckner from his time spent in Mexico with the organization out of the First Methodist Church in Scottsbluff:
W O O D S
Our group built homes for four families. Two single homes and one duplex. The duplex is 12 x 36 so each side gets a 12 x 18 area. One single home is 12 x 20 and the other is 13 x 19. These are very simple, basic homes - 2 x 4 construction on a slab. No interior finish, a single room. Two windows and a door. The group is an informal organization out of the First Methodist Church in Scottsbluff. This year we had people from Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Iowa and Missouri as part of the group. We raise the funds needed to build the houses and have a contact in Nuevo Progresso, Mexico who lines up the families and gets the foundations ready for us and orders the materials. Over the course of three days, we build the homes and then present them to the families along with house warming gifts. – Dave
