Season of Celebration
JILL JOHNSON
DIGITAL DIRECTORA TIME TO REFLECT
“And with that, the 2022 season has come to an end” If you are a Tik Tok user, you will know exactly what I am referring to (@sammylev)
This year has been so full of excitement and opportunities, it's hard to believe that we've already reached the end! From all the launches and successes within HSRA and the investment opportunities, to the moments when things didn't go as planned, to having my first child, it is amazing to reflect on all that has been achieved and accomplished.
As we head into this holiday season, take a moment to appreciate everything you have done throughout 2022.
I challenge you to sit down with your partner, your team, your spouse, and write out a list of each month in 2022 and take note of the amazing achievements, big or small, that took place in each month. Take pride in each and every one of them!
As we go into this new year of unknowns, let us use this time of cheer and gratitude to celebrate ourselves and everyone around us for making it through another year with extreme excellence!
Together, let's look forward with optimism and hope for an even better 2023! I pray that everyone enjoys a safe and joyous holiday season. Here's to our success!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

STAGING BUSINESS DEVELOPER
CONCEPT BOARD VS. RENDERING
As Stager and Designers, we often find ourselves wondering which program is better and cost effective for our business and most importantly our clients. What software programs do you use for your business? How user friendly are they? And how often do you need or use them in your day to day work? I'd love to know your thoughts on this.
As a Stager, I never had a use for either of these, but I began practicing immediately because something in my gut told me I would be expanding to Design! Staging is a world on its own but at any moment can definitely open doors to Design.
When I decided to enter the world of Decorating/Styling and Design in my business, I knew that it would require an open mind and some financial investment.
Eventually, you'll find the program that works best for both you and your company. I enjoyed creating concept boards in PowerPoint and Canva, but I did not have experience in 2D and 3D renderings so I outsourced these when needed to my son in law who was an expert in Auto CAD
Here are just a few ideas of how I matched a design board client vs rendering and some actual pictures of my boards/renderings:
Client A: I need a home staged by X date for my listing
Need: This Client needs a full Stage no boards or renderings are needed
Response: Absolutely, here are my price points and/or packages. Let’s get this home sold for top dollar!!
Client B: I really want to hire you to help with some decorating and/or purchasing of some products. I just don’t have the vision to complete this project
Need: This client needs a concept/Design board
Response: Absolutely, I can create a concept board showing you all the items you need to pull your room together. I can even purchase these items at my cost and save you money!
Client C: I have this room and see studs; I cannot imagine what this would look like at all. I know I want A/B/C. HELP!
Need: This client needs a full rendering maybe even starting with a concept board depending on the project.
Response: Absolutely, I can already see how amazing this space is going to look with the ideas you have given me I want you to allow my team and me to show you the potential of this space!

REBECCA WOOD
EXECUTIVE ADMIN
As this year comes to an end, we anticipate a fresh set of personal & professional quarterly goals to meet in 2023. It is essential to not only reflect inwardly but to get to know who you’re working with.
For most, we spend more time with our team than we do with our families. Though we are working together towards an ultimate goal, we are also humans, and relationships and bonding are invaluable when everyone is needed to truly level up. Any misconceptions between team members can cause disruptions that may impact productivity and morale.
By taking simple steps to understand each team member's individual strengths, communication style, and behavior patterns, you can create a much more efficient and cohesive team. Let’s quickly take a look at what each assessment is and why it is beneficial. You will only need 20 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete both assessments.
DISC Assessment
This assessment provides businesses with a framework to better understand the behavior of themselves and others. It provides an understanding of natural tendencies, strengths, development areas, motivators, fears, and much more. The four letters in the acronym represent a different type of personality style, also known as temperament or behavioral traits.
They explain whether a person is extroverted or introverted and the task or people orientated or a combination of the characteristics. This assessment is free, and there is a paid extended version if interested.
Enneagram Assessment
This assessment determines personality type by identifying an individual's core beliefs about the world and how that drives their motivators and fears. There are nine categorizations of personalities, and each category consists of a different mixture of one's head, heart, and mind. The Enneagram provides an understanding of motivations, fears, and desires which help with personal growth and self awareness. It is used to understand yourself and others better. The assessment is free to find out your number. After you know you’re number you can Google the number type and find a multitude of information.
They have Instagram pages, Pinterest boards, and endless resources to know how certain number types work with others, communication approaches, etc. There are endless resources out there to learn more!
