Discussions about Hua Hin’s tourism inevitiable turn to the subject of air transport with conjecture aboui when they may be more flights from the Hua Hin airport.
There many speculative stories about why there is currently only one scheduled destination (Kuala Lumpur). Rumours may be about a brand new airport planned for somewhere inland and about restrictions imposed by the proximity to the Royal Palace.
Mr. Thanachai Theerapattanavong, and the Editor-in-Chief, Ms. Visa Chimdee, were amongst guests at the July Meeting of Hua Hin’s resort and hotel General Managers. The aim was to reveal what is being planned for the future of our publication and to spread the ‘good news’. We were able to describe plans to expand our role in promoting the hospitality industry and tourism sector and to introduce the new owner who addressed the gathering.

2 Long Live Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The 87-year-old Queen Mother, HM Queen Sirikit was born on August 12th, 1932. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit is the daughter of H.H. Prince Chandaburi Suranath (M.C. Nakkhat Mongkol Kitiyakara) and his consort Mom Luang Bua Kitiyakara (nee Mom Luang Bua Snidvongs). Prince Chandaburi Suranath was the third son of H.R.H. Prince Chandaburi Suranath and H.S.H. Princess Absarasman Kitiyakara. HM Queen Siriki was the Queen Consort of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (or Rama IX). Their Majesties have four children, namely: Princess Ubol Ratana, born on
April 5, 1951, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun (or King Rama X), born on July 28, 1952, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, born on April 2, 1955 and Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, born on July 4, 1957. Queen Sirikit is also regarded as the mother to all Thai people, thus her birthday is also celebrated as Mother’s Day. For more than half a century, Queen Sirikit has inspired many in Thailand and beyond with her deep compassion for the Thai people and tireless service to her nation. Also, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit accompanied His Majesty the King on his visits to remote villages in all corners of the Kingdom. At that time she found that the majority of Thai people who are farmers do not earn a decent living because they were at the mercy of natural forces beyond their control. Thus, there are countless development projects

under the royal initiative of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit such as the Foundation of the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand, or the Support Foundation. The Foundation helps residents in rural areas to have a supplementary income to support their families, and enjoy better lives. Recently, the Bureau of the Royal Household announced that Queen Sirikit was admitted to the Chulalongkorn hospital after she developed a fever and persistent cough. However, the Queen Mother’s overall health has now improved and the fever has subsided. On behalf of Hua Hin Today newspaper, staff members, advertisers, readers and the people of Hua Hin, it is our pleasure to wish Her Majesty Queen Sirikit a joyous, speedy recovery with good health, and prosperity on her 87th birthday.

4 Continued from Page 1 THE FUTURE OF THE HUA HIIN AIRPORT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS There has been an announcement made in August 2018 by the Airports Department Director General that 3.5 billion THB is to be spent to upgrade the Airport over the next five years. He was quoted as saying that this would include “enlarging the passenger terminal and widening the runway and expanding hangars”. Very recently Hua Hin Today had the opportunity to be much better informed by meeting with Airport Director, Mr. Apisit Ubolkomut, he’s someone who is very qualified to know the real story. The Department of Airports (DOA) is the Thai government department under the Ministry of Transport. It operates 28 civil airports throughout the country; including Hua Hin. However to describe the Hua Hin airport as Khun Apisit’s ‘own airport’ is not far from reality.
Khun Apisit is very comfortable and relaxed about any responding to question about ‘his’ airport; after all he answers such questions every day. His first question to us was “OK, what do you want to know?”; our immediate response was “what is the future of the Hua Hin Airport?”
Khun Apisit has been the Director for the past 5 years but with an architectural background he was the lead designer of the building completed 25 years ago; he knows the facility intimately.
Here’s what the community can expect with the following developments commencing very soon: Final confirmation to double the size of the terminal. The primary reason is the inability for the existing building to separate domestic and international passengers; vital for security, customs and immigration. It is also confirmed that the runway will be made wider from the exiting 35 metres to 45 metres wide along with additional aircraft tarmac ‘parking’ facilities.
The length of the current runway is satisfactory for narrow bodied aircraft such as the A320 Airbus operated by Air Asia and may other lost cost carriers. A longer runway for long haul carriers can be achieved with an extension of some 500 metres. However this could only be achieved with an extension seaward as private ownership inland prevents any western extension. There are no current proposals or considerations being given to this extension in the near future. Next Khun Apisit was also able to dispel some of the more persistent rumours: There is no plan or active discussion for the construction of a new airport in the foreseeable future. The proximity of the Royal Palace poses no restrictions to the airport and is not a part
of development considerations. The civil flying school adjoining the main airport is not problematic. Some very preliminary discussions have taken place with other carriers considering Hua Hin as a destination. Singapore and Myanmar appear to be the front runners however formal proposals are yet to be presented. The current Air Asia daily flights to Kuala Lumper have been well patronised. Khun Apisit mentioned figures averaging around 70 – 80% of the capacity with a maximum passenger load of 185 people on the A320 craft. Previously domestic patronage to the most recent route to Chiang Mai was also popular but discontinued due to internal issues for the airline (Kan Air). With completion of the extended passenger terminal there is no reason why domestic services cannot resume and that seems is likely in the future. Where these destinations may be awaits specific proposals. Our thanks to Khun Apisit for his cooperation and the welcome to ‘his airport’. In summary; he describes the future of scheduled airline transport to Hua Hin as a combination of more international destinations and a reemergence of domestic flights. It’s a carefully considered and conservative approach, rather than any more radical changes. This may well be the best formula for success and community acceptance.

The ‘good news’ was received with an enthusiastic response from this gathering of the ‘movers and shakers’ of our hospitality scene. Mr. Thanachai gave some interesting information related the outlook of Hua Hin’s tourism industry such as the future development plan of Thailand Riviera. These monthly meetings are an example of the cooperative approach at the top level of our hospitality sector. It’s a way for them to find out about changes and developments and to share experiences. Typically the meeting is attended by ten or twelve GMs and happens at different resorts each month without the domination of one ‘brand’. There may be a guest who has important information, valuable insights and ‘inside’ information to offer to the group, rather than the time consuming process of visiting each GM individually. Of course this is not about revealing confidential information as there is also the spirit of competition, as well as cooperation, between those in attendance. From motorbike donations to school kids and to the joint venture of the Hua Hin ‘Dine Along the Beach’, cooperation between the top level of management of our hotels and resorts has gone a long way towards ensuring that the events and activities of the our hospitality sector meets the needs of locals and visitors to Hua Hin. 6 Exclusive Interview with Mr. Nopporn Vuttikul; His Vision for Hua Hin City What is your policy to improve safety standards at tourist attraction to regain the confidence of tourists? “Hua Hin is the home of the King”, where Klai Kang Won Palace, the summer residence of King Rama IX is located, is the strength of Hua Hin city so Hua Hin needs to make sure that all tourists have been prevented crimes and aided in traffic control once they enter Hua Hin area. Hua Hin municipality has now set up CCTV cameras in the areas of tourist attractions, but they are still not enough. We do have a plan to install more CCTV cameras throughout the city so not only do residents and tourists feel a greater sense of security in this city, but police can also act on incidents spotted by cameras before a 191 call is made. What is your plan or project that helps he rasie environmental awareness of tourists? Hua Hin succeeded in protecting the environment since Hua Hin was one of three cities worldwide chosen to receive the Global Green City award from the United Nations Sustainable cities and Human Settlements Awards. Hua Hin Today had the privilege of interviewing Mr. Nopporn Vuttikul, mayor of Hua Hin. Mr. Nopporn discusses his thoughts on the city’s success, problems that they have faced, and the city future projects that will make the city move forward. Due to Baht appreciation causing the recession in tourism, what are your shortterm and long-term plans to deal with the recession? Just so you know, Hua Hin is just municipality, yet Baht appreciation is a national issue beyond our duty. However, we do have the short-term and long-term plans in tourism. For the short-term plan, we annually hold the events such as Hua Hin International Jazz Festival and Hua Hin & Cha Am Golf Festival to attract tourists over the low season. The Hua Hin & Cha-Am Golf Festival is a great opportunity for visiting golfers throughout the world to enjoy some real bargains. In addition, our long-term plan, although there are so many tourist attractions in Hua Hin, they are not enough for us to boost the tourism. Hence, we are going to build a landmark called “Hua Hin Sky Walk Tower” which is a scenic tower and an elevated glass walkway on Hin Lek Fai which overlooks the city. All Visitors can enjoy panoramic views on the tower and stroll along the elevated glass walkway. Apart from that, there will also be a large “Hua Hin” sign that will be visible from a distance. All in all, the project is approval, and Hua Hin municipality office is now waiting for funds for the construction.
The issue of stray dogs is a frequently discussed concern to residents and visitors in Hua Hin since there are serious injuries caused by roaming dogs and dog bites. What’s your long-term solution? We have attempted to solve this problem though. First of all, solving such problem in Thailand is obviously different from other countries--it is should be noted that it is against the Buddhist way to destroy animals (saying that what you do to others will come back to you one day), so no dogs are killed regardless of how long they stay. It is fortunate for Hua Hin city that we have “Hua Hin Dog Shelter” initiated by H.M. King Rama IX in 2003 to tackle the stray dog problem in our city. However, since there are so many stray dogs in Hua Hin and the shelter has limited capacity (approximately 1,500 dogs) and relies on charitable donations from animal lovers, some 300 stray dogs at the shelter were moved to Buriram province to make

room for a quarantine of dogs suspected to be infected with rabies. Anyway, this problem seems endless as long as a number of owners get rid of their dogs by simply dropping them off in the middle of nowhere. Hence, in situation like this, we would like to ask some people petting dogs to help reduce the population of stray dogs through sterilization. Moreover, people can adopt dogs from the shelter like me. Parking is a problem in most modern cities and Hua Hin is not an exception. Would it be possible for the influx of visitors especially during the vacation or the weekend to park at the parking lot of municipality? Why not, all visitors can park at our parking lot from 8.30 AM until 22.00 PM for free. The municipality’s parking lot is also equipped with an elevator and restrooms for visitors’ convenience. Does Hua Hin have a plan to move the tangled mess of communication cables underground? Hua Hin municipality has intermittently l a u n c h e d b i d s f o r t h e p ro j e c t o f undergrounding a hanging mass of cables in Hua Hin, but the process has so far dragged on with half achievement. If we had funds for that, we would bury the lines within three
years by using Damnoenkasem Rd. as a pilot program. There are so many complaints from tourists about the unfair and expensive price from restaurant operators, especially seafood restaurants. How do you prevent such problem to ensure the fairness and consumer protection? Well, it depends. It is the right of vendors to price the menu, but its price needs to be appropriately priced by dishes and weight. Nonetheless, Hua Hin municipality has recommended that the price of goods and services be clearly displayed with the good manner. Please tell us your future city projects. There are so many upcoming projects. The first project is that the municipality will do concrete road from Soi Hua Hin 102-112. Next, we will add more lanes in the area of Chomsin Rd. from 4 lanes to 6 lanes in order to decrease congestion. Also, Khao Tao reservoir will be renovated to be another landmark by making dancing fountain, along with rubber giant turtle floating around the reservoir. In addition, to support Thai children’s education to meet international standard, be intelligent, and have life skills, Hua Hin municipality is going to build trilingual (English, Chinese, Thai including computer field) kindergarten and primary school in area of Soi Hua Hin 11 Kong. Last but not least, in terms of water extension or development, we have formulated the plan to transfer water directly from Kaeng Krachan Dam to the water filtering plant near the Khok Ma valley. The Royal Irrigation Department will work with Kaeng Krachan Dam to launch closed water system with the budget about 900 Million THB. As a result, the construction of a waterworks plant can produce water at a capacity of 500 cubic meters per hour in Smorprong and Boh Fai Volley. This project will be completed by 2022.

Soodyod Aiemsumang, Mr. Wann Chatree, director of Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (Hua Hin), villagers and fishermen joined the meeting concerning about “Guidelines for Marine Protected Areas— Sing Island, Tao Island and Hua Don beach.” Due to the policy of DMCR for the sustainable marine resources, the items on the agenda was mainly about setting the fishing area for fishing boats and providing parking area for tourist boats.

Mr. Jeerawat Prammanee, Permanent Secretary of the Municipality presided the meeting about determining points for installing CCTV cameras and cancellation of purchasing CCTV cameras through e-bidding—the 12 core fiber optic cables are not qualified by Provincial Electricity Authority’s regulation. In the meeting, they discussed about CCTV installation points and equipment for the installation such as cameras and lines for making sure that they will be qualified and approved by the government supervision. However, Hua Hin municipality had installed the CCTV in inner-city for the first round. The upcoming round, the municipality will be installing in the minor roads. In the future, CCTV cameras will be set up in every Soi of Hua Hin city to improve safety measures for tourists.
An Outstanding Center Quality of Life Development and Career promotion for the elderly
Mr. Nopporn Wuttikul, mayor of Hua Hin, presided the meeting on organising the parking space for Taxi at the area of Hua Hin Ferry Harbour. There are two items on agenda. Firstly, the parking space will be set for taxi. Secondly, the badge must always be displayed while taxi drivers are on their duty. Taxi drivers have been informed and they must comply with this notification hereupon.
On 5th July 2019, Ms. Pailin Kongpan, deputy mayor of Hua Hin city, joined the exhibition, “Thailand Social Expo 2019” at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani as a representative of Center Quality of Life Development and Career promotion for the elderly people. The center was rewarded from Ministry of Social Development and Human Security for being an outstanding center that has provided activities about life development and job promotion for the elders in the community.

On 10th July, local people and government officials led by the mayor of Hua Hin Mr. Nopporn Wuttikul, participated the activity, “Yellow Community of Father’s Home Planting Trees”. The Hua Hin mayor, representatives from 39 communities, and people joined the planting of 500 Silver trumpet and Yellow elder trees to increase green and yellow spaces in communities. Wild Elephant Found Dead in Palau
On 3rd July, a 7-year-old wild female elephant which had died about 1 month before was found dead in the forest area near Moo 3, Ban Pa-la-U village in tambon Huay Sat Yai—far 2 kilometres from Kaeng Krachan National Park. Originally, a team of specialists scanned the elephant’s copse for metal, but no bullets were found.
Her death is still unclear since there were no gunshot wounds in her body; however, with our initial assumption, we believed that she died of natural causes, said Mr. Sawat Taweerat, director of the Protected Area Regional Office 3 (Phetchaburi). Mr.Sawat also told villagers, motorists, and drivers to be aware of wild elephants that usually stray from the forest.

11 Durian Processing Factory Opened in Southern Thailand Durian has now become a very popular fruit among Chinese consumers, especially durian from southern border provinces known for a unique flavor. Durian is a very popular fruit in Thailand, and its export has become a major source of national income. Durian production has interested many Chinese investors, with the thirdlargest durian processing factory in Thailand recently opened in a southern border province. Despite the high demand, only 5 percent of national durian harvest is exported to China. Manguwang Food Company has realized the great potential of durian exports to the Chinese market, and has therefore made a significant investment, in cooperation with the Thai government which offers tax deductions and facilitation in opening the country’s third-largest durian
processing factory. With the new factory located in Songkhla province, the company buys fresh durian fruit from local farmers in southern border provinces and processes it using a freeze-dry process. The product is then exported to provinces of China overland through Laos and Vietnam. The company is planning to include shipping by sea in the future. It is expected the company will purchase 12,000 tons of fresh durian fruit this year, and will increase the number to 20,000 tons in 2020, creating 1,200 new jobs for villagers. Thepha District Chief, Sanong Chantarak said this week that the new durian factory will be very beneficial for local villagers and help increase local employment, as well as attracting other businesses to invest more in southern border provinces.
Thai Ministry Increases Renewable Energy Ratio
The cost of electricity generated from renewable energy will be approximately 2.44 baht per unit, which should not affect the general public’s electricity bills. On the move to reinforce electricity security, the Ministry of Energy has amended its Alternative Energy Development Plan (AEDP) 2018 to comply with the national electricity generating capacity development, increasing the ratio of electricity generation from renewable energy sources to 29,358 megawatts by 2037. The Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency’s (DEDE) Director General, Yongyut Juntararotai has disclosed that the Alternative Energy Development Plan (AEDP) 2018, which covers operations from 2018 to 2037, is aimed at increasing electricity generation from waste materials utilized in energy plants, from 500 megawatts to 900 megawatts,
which will help solve the national issue of excess garbage needing disposal. Public consultations will be held in August to gather input from all sides, before proposing the project to the National Energy Policy Committee. According to the latest amendment of the AEDP 2018, electricity generated from renewable energy sources will be introduced into the national power grid, with solar power generating 15,574 megawatts, biomass generating 5,786 megawatts, wind turbines generating 2,989 megawatts, hydroelectric power from domestic generators and from Laos generating 3,000 megawatts, and waste to energy generating 900 megawatts. 14 Trans-Asean Bullet Train to Link Thailand with Singapore and China
Under the Thai government’s plan to make Thailand the logistics hub of ASEAN, the high-speed trains will be at the heart of the country’s new infrastructure system. Construction of a high-speed railway using Chinese technology is at the center of Thailand’s plan to become the logistics hub of ASEAN. All eyes are on what kind of influence China can gain by helping Thailand build its infrastructure. The government has already begun the construction of some routes and will keep calling bids for the project, according Thai Deputy Minister of Transport Pailin Chuchottaworn. The Thai government is pursuing an ambitious plan to build a rail network linking Thailand to other countries in the region, like Singapore and China.
China has only a decade or so of experience operating high-speed rail. But it has already caught up with Japan’s shinkansen in terms of technology.
The road to Singapore and China
“Thais will be able to take high-speed trains to the Chinese capital and Singapore from a railway station in Bang Sue in the future,” said Deputy Transport Minister Pailin Chuchottaworn. Faster trips to Laos and Beijing
The first route, a Thai-Sino project linking Bangkok and Nong Khai in the far Northeast, is now under construction and is scheduled to be completed by 2023. The route will make transport more convenient and are expected to drive the national economy forward in the long term, the official noted. From the border line, another rail route will run to the Lao capital of Vientiane, and the last leg will take passengers to Mohan, a border town in Yunnan Province, China. 15 Dept Warns of Worst Drought in Decade
The Meteorological Department (MD) says Thailand is going to experience the worst drought in a decade, as average precipitation across large swaths of the country has fallen far short of the monthly average. Kornrawee Sitthichiwapak, the MD’s deputy director-general, said downpours this rainy season were far below average, particularly in the North and Northeastern as well as in the Central Plains -- all of which are important crop growing regions. “The country’s overall rainfall is the lowest in a decade,” she said. Ms Kornrawee said this season’s storms -- including Tropical Storm Mun -- were much less powerful than in previous seasons, bringing much less rain to the interior part of the country.
“As such, farmers will have to wait until late August or early September for heavy rain to fall,” she said. The lack of rain has affected water reserves across the country. Water levels in large reservoirs stood at about 38% in the North, 33% in the Northeast, 22% in the Central Plains, 35% in the East, 67% in the West, and 60% in the South, according to figures released by the ONWR. The lack of heavy rain has seen four medium-sized reservoirs in Nakhon Ratchasima completely dry out, according to the 8th Royal Irrigation Office. The empty reservoirs have prompted the Office of National Water Resources (ONWR) to speed up efforts to mitigate the impact of the looming drought.
Samroeng Saengphuwong, the deputy ONWR secretarygeneral, convened a meeting in Buri Ram -- attended by officials from Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Buri Ram, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani -- to discuss the situation. Officials also proposed measures to lessen the drought’s impact on local residents. “Prime Minister Prayut Chano-cha has instructed the ONWR and other related agencies about the importance of helping those already suffering from water shortages, who will be even more affected by the drought,” said Mr Samroeng. According to Mr Samroeng, the northeastern region has only 4.3 billion cubic metres of water
reserves left in its dams and reservoirs, which equates to about 33% of its maximum capacity. “Seven large dams in the region now have less than 30% of their maximum capacity,” he said. The drought is expected to affect 105 districts across 12 provinces -- namely Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Kalasin, Yasothon, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Nakhon Ratchasima. 16 “Mom’s Advice Is Still the Best for Treating Diarrhea”
Eat the right foods to ease your symptoms and discomfort
Most of us will experience diarrhea a couple of times a year, whether it’s from a bacterial infection, a food allergy or simply something you’ve eaten that disagrees with you. Diarrhea usually is not serious and often disappears within a day or so. Mom’s advice is still the best when it comes to home treatments for diarrhea, which you should eat chicken soup and saltines and follow the BRAT diet – bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast. You might think that eating will make your diarrhea worse, but your food choices can help to ease your symptoms and ensure your health doesn’t worsen as a result.
When your health is good, physicians usually recommend whole-grain, high-fiber foods. But high-fiber foods could spell trouble when you have diarrhea. The BRAT foods are low-fiber and can help to make your stools firmer. Bananas also are high in potassium and help to replace nutrients your body has lost because of diarrhea. Dr. Kirby says you also can add oatmeal, boiled or baked potatoes (peeled), or baked chicken with the skin removed. “These are simple foods that people often tolerate very well,” Dr. Kirby says.
Salty and sweet
The biggest danger with a short bout of diarrhea is dehydration, or the loss of water and nutrients from the body’s tissues. You could become dehydrated if you have diarrhea more than three times a day and are not drinking enough fluids. Dehydration can cause serious complications if it is not treated. The best way to guard against dehydration is to consume liquids that contain salt and sugar, says digestive disease specialist Donald Kirby, MD, Director of Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Human Nutrition. The salt slows down the fluid loss, while the sugar helps your body to absorb the salt. “We tend not to want people to have salt in general, but when you’re having significant diarrhea, you want to make sure you’re getting salt and enough sugar to keep out of the emergency room,” Dr. Kirby says. Over-the-counter rehydration solutions such as Pedialyte will do the job, Dr. Kirby says. Or, follow Mom’s advice and have some chicken soup with saltine crackers or pretzels. “Doctor Mom has been doing it for generations and it still works,” Dr. Kirby says. “In this case, Mother really does know best.”
Probiotics
Another way to help your gut recover from a diarrheal infection is to consume probiotics— a food or dietary supplement that contains live bacteria, which replaces or adds to the beneficial bacteria usually found in the gastrointestinal tract. While it’s wise to avoid dairy products when you have diarrhea, Dr. Kirby says, there’s one notable exception – yogurt or kefir, a fermented milk drink that contain probiotics. These can restore the beneficial bacteria that your body flushes out with diarrhea. Just make sure the yogurt or kefir are low in sugar, as higher levels of sugar can potentially worsen symptoms or diarrheal losses (water and electrolytes) in some patients. It’s time to call the doctor when diarrhea lasts longer than a few days, Dr. Kirby says. The results show that the happiness of these patients suffers badly. One of the key factors is the impact on their social ability activities. Approximately fifteen million Thai people suffer from kidney diseases. The number tends to get higher every year at the rate of 7,800 people per year. Eight million of these individuals suffer from chronic kidney disease, with 200,000 people are at the end-stages. The most common cause of kidney disease is diabetes and high blood pressure. This contributes to 70% of the overall cases. It is undeniable that changes in eating habits has many effects, causing an increased ratio of kidney disease, including in children and youth. The intake of salty food, spicy food, fast food, snacks, or continuous medication all leads to kidney disease. This leads to the fact that once you are in the world of kidney disease, there will be an increasing amount of food that you will have to avoid: H Salty food: the more salt accumulates in our body, the more water is retained. This leads to swelling and with an excessive amount of water in your body, your kidney and heart will have to work harder. The suggested food for people with kidney disease is food that contains low potassium; such as rose apples, green grapes, watermelon, sponge gourd, white jelly fungus, and cabbage. Mostly anything that has a mild taste, as well as vegetables and fruits with a light colour, are suggested. Now that we are talking about kidney disease, one unavoidable thing that we need to discuss is dialysis and when this is needed. Kidney disease can be divided into 5 stages. The stage that requires dialysis is the 5th stage, or known as renal failure stage or the end tstage of kidney disease. The treatment for kidney disease can only slow down the condition of renal failure, which can be divided into 3 types as follows: 1. Haemodialysis: this type of dialysis will remove blood from the body for cleansing. It will eliminate waste and minerals from your blood, as well as adjust water balance in the body. As the kidney is approaching renal failure stage, it will no longer be able to perform its function and can filter only a slight amount of waste from the blood. Once the blood is cleaned, it will be returned to the body. 2. Peritoneal dialysis: this type of dialysis will remove waste and the water excess from the body using a tube installed in the abdominal cavity. The exchange has to be repeated 4 times per day; usually 6 hours apart between each exchange cycle. Peritoneal dialysis can be carried out at home by the patient. Therefore, it is suitable for those who do not want to commute to the hospital. However, the patient needs to pay extra attention and be careful about any infection. 3. Kidney transplant or renal replacement: this treatment could be done for only 500 patients per year. This is because, in addition to lack of kidney, there are complexities in testing the compatibility between the kidney donor and the recipient. As a result, a few cases of this treatment can be operated per year.
17 Allergy in Children Can Be Prevented
Allergic diseases are popular and found in every age group, however, they are more prevalent in children than adults. Allergies occur when the body responds to stimulants which are considered harmless leading to reactions causing inflammation to the contact organs. For instance, hay fever or allergic rhinitis happens when we breathe in allergen, or substance we are allergic to, leading to reaction in the nasal cavity causing nasal congestion, sneezing and runny nose. Asthma takes place when the reactions happen in the airways causing spasm of the air passage and shortness of breath. The reactions may happen within minutes or hours after the contact. Allergic patients may also react to other things more actively than the allergens such as smoke, pollution, cold, damp weather and humidity. The reaction may last for days or months.
Dr. Onsuree Boonyaviwat, our pediatric allergy and immunology specialist and Director of Pediatrics at Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, shares that the parents may notice abnormal symptoms in their children such as frequent or chronic cold symptoms. The symptoms may be more prominent at certain times such as runny nose at night time or at dawns. Some children have more coughs after exercises or when the weather changes or after having a cold. For skin allergies, it may happen intermittently or after eating certain food such as cow milk, eggs, seafood and peanuts. Skin allergies may happen from contacting allergens such as dust or pets. Children with suspicious allergies should have a consultation with a doctor. Allergies may be geneticrelated or caused by external factors. If one of the parents has
allergic diseases, the chance that children may also have allergies is 30 – 50 percent and when both of the parents have allergies, the chance will increase to 50 – 70 per cent. 18 Ricinus communis Miracle Tree
The Miracle Tree (Ricinus communis) is the only species of the monotypic genus Ricinus, which belongs to the family of Euphorbiaceae.

In connection with the use of the oil of castor bean seeds as a renewable energy source, the miracle tree is therefore also called castor plant by the industry and the media.
Propagation
The miracle tree bears abundant fruits, called “castor beans” which are reminiscent of a fully sucked tick. Along with its rapid growth, this leads to the fact that the plant is considered as a invasive species (Neophyte).
Distribution
This plant is native to northeast Africa and the Middle East. As a cultural refugee, it has now spread to all tropical areas, also to Thailand. The specie loves a sunny, warm and windless area. The soil should be humus and nutrient rich and well drained. While good water supply promotes growth, but once it has established, it is no longer mandatory since the plant tolerates drought periods.
Ingredients Castor oil
Description
In temperate climates the plant grows as an annual herbaceous plant in the tropics as a perennial plant. The plant is vigorous and is in ideal conditions within three to four months to five meters high. In tropical climates they reached after several years of growth heights of up to 13 meters and forms a woody stem.
The viscous, clear to yellowish castor oil, (also ricin oil, pharmaceutical name: ricini oleum, formerly; oleum ricini Castoris) is pressed cold from the seeds of the plant (oil content of about 40 to 50%), it consists of 70 to 77 percent of triglycerides of ricinoleic acid. In contrast to the seed, it is non-toxic. In addition to its medical application, it is used in a mixture with methanol for the lubrication of internal combustion engines in models (Nitro engines).
Ricin
The seed coats of the miracle tree are very poisonous because they contain the toxic protein ricin, a lectin. The ricin content in the seeds of the tree is about 1 to 5 percent. At an oral intake of ricin already a level of 0.25 milligrams can be fatal, which corresponds to a few seeds. Ricin dissolves while in water, but is fat insoluble, and therefore not included in the castor oil. During pressing of the seeds the poison thus remains in the pomace. (Pomace, or marc, is the solid remains of grapes, olives, or other fruit after pressing for juice or oil. It contains the skins, pulp, seeds, and stems of the fruit. Grape pomace has traditionally been used to produce pomace brandy. Today, it is mostly used as fodder, as fertilizer, or to extract bioactive compounds like polyphenols from it.)
Utilization Use as an ornamental plant
The alternating leaves are standing 30 to 70 inches tall, shiny, green (in some varieties reddish to deep purple), have long petioles and are five to eleven palmate shaped (Peltatum). The miracle tree blooms from August to October. The unisexual flowers are inconspicuous and green yellow. In the upper half of the inflorescence only the red stamps to discerning female flowers are formed, in the lower half only the male flowers with their distinctive yellow stamens. Red-brown capsule fruits are formed, studded with soft spines, with reddish brown-marbled, bean-shaped seeds.
The miracle tree is a popular ornamental plant, especially as it is vigorous and of a exotic look. Ideal location in the garden is a hotbed, or any other non-shady spot. If small children or toddlers are in the house - be aware, due to the poisonous fruits.
Use of castor oil Medical application
The use of the miracle plant as medical and oil plant has been documented already around 1552 BC in ancient medical text, the ancient Egyptian Ebers Papyrus, testified, also seeds of the plant have been found in Egyptian tombs. The best known use is, as an indigestible laxatives against constipation or to accelerate defecation. The effect is two to four hours after ingestion of approximately 10 to 30 milliliters of castor oil. Some compounds of the oil act already after 10 to 20 seconds. The actual active substance is ricinoleic acid, a C18 fatty acid, is released in the small intestine by endogenous lipases (fat-splitting enzymes). Through the collection of water in the intestine an enlarged and softened stool volume , is produced and thus the laxative effect. In addition, the released ricinoleic acid leads to irritation of the intestinal mucosa, which also produces a laxative effect. Externally, castor oil is applied for the treatment of warts and ringworm
Use of Ricin
Ricin is one of the most potent, naturally occurring toxins in general, and also very easy to produce. Since it also acts via the respiratory tract, it has been tested by armies on its use as a chemical warfare agent.
Plastics production and chemical industry
By far the most important application is the use as a natural polyol for polyurethane(PU) plastics. Castor oil is the only available vegetable oil in large quantities, which has by nature the required OH-functionality, to react with dior polyisocyanates to form polyurethane polymers. The applications are PU foams (e.g. upholstery and mattresses, construction foams), casting resins (e.g, electrical encapsulation), adhesives and many more. Even as a raw material for linoleum flooring, paint and varnish production, castor oil is used as a softener in the plastics industry as well as lubricants. In the cosmetics industry it is used as raw material for lipsticks, shampoos and other cosmetics. In the model and motorsport, castor oil is added as lubricating component to the fuel of two-stroke engines. Combustion of such two-stroke mixtures produces a characteristic odor.
Its use, however, discarded and destroyed all relevant inventories, especially since it is difficult to disperse as an aerosol and more suitable for attacks on individuals, then of mass killings. Ricin is documented in Paragraph 1 of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) listed containing the poisonous toxins, and at the same time in the last version of the Organic and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC). Ricin is currently under review due to its cytostatic, i.e growth- inhibitory effect on cancer cells for use in tumor therapy.

22 Cha-Am is Meeting the Quality Tourism Challenge
There’s been recent news that the Department of Highways has set a deadline of 2024 to open a new Bt70-billion toll motorway linking the west of Bangkok with Cha-Am. Additional access to Hua Hin’s smaller sibling is promised with the completion of the dual track rail and on the horizon is an even faster ‘bullet train’. At the same time as the future access to Cha-Am promises a much higher profile for the town, the quiet tourism season in Cha-Am has been extra quiet this year. These low visitor numbers reflect those of the major tourism centres of Phuket, Pattaya and Chiang Mai as well as Hua Hin with a shift in tourist demographics away from European countries. Outgoing Tourism and Sports Minister Weerasak Kowsurat long encouraged tourism operators to change; placing a higher focus on quality tourism and safe destinations, rather than focusing on huge arrival numbers and more recent reports from tourism authorities suggest that theme will continue. Within that context Cha-Am is showing the way. This has seen the emergence more ‘boutique style’ businesses with those that have not recognised the need to change closing their doors. Just a quick survey of the 6 kilometre beach road demonstrates this change. New ‘quality’ hotels, restaurants, cafes and condo styled accommodation have emerged as ‘backpacker style’ guesthouses and restaurants with standards reminiscent of the 60’s disappearing. There’s been some distress along the way with unfinished projects and ‘For Sale’ signs marring the landscape in places. It’s hard to follow the message of signs on a bar with a locked gate saying “For Sale” but also “Staff Wanted”! But there’s also no shortage of completed and operational quality developments. Some perennial favourites are also weathering the quiet season blues: perhaps those that were always a ‘cut above the rest’ remain as testament to the ‘quality matters’ mantra.
One of the necessities for success is to appeal to a customer base that has become more demanding and diverse. The days of depending on customers who are longstay Europeans satisfied with a ‘cheap Charlie’ approach seem to be over. A failure to respond to visitors who demand more than just a tired format and have differing cultural demands needs means business failure. The continuing weekend and holiday crowds of Thai families have also been neglected by some. These visitors are also becoming more discerning. When a western style restaurant fails to have a menu or signs with Thai as well as English script, they are unlikely to attract these essential customers. Can you imagine going to a Thai Restaurant overseas and only finding a menu in Thai? One example of managing these new demands is the OKay Supermarket which has been providing many of the necessities of daily life to both Thai and non-Thai customers for around 12 years. Even with a brand new Makro down the road, a willingness to listen and understand what is important to customers means the competition down the road may only be attracting customers to the area.
By the way you’ll always find copies of Hua Hin Today on the OKay front counter where Cha-Am locals have been picking up their copies for around six years. In days gone by semi-retired expats would open their own bar or small restaurant with little hospitality insight and survive by relying on friends and fellow countrymen; but those days are gone.
Quality hospitality is the new Cha-Am. There is an air of optimism amongst those businesses that follow that strategy. Like many tourism locations around Thailand tough times have shown the need for big changes. Cha-Am is embracing that need and likely to be at the forefront of the new Thailand tourism model. Many honored guests including Mr. Thanon Pornrapeepas, Hua Hin Sheriff, Mr. Thanom Praysri, the Former counselor of the royal palace office, Police Col. Dumrongsak Thongngamtrakul, Deputy Superintendent of Police in Prachuap Khirikhan Province, and Soraya Homchuren, Tourism Director of Prachuap Khirikhan Office had attended to congratulate the new president and the management team.
Lions Club’s slogan is “We Serve” which means we are happy to encourage serviceminded people to serve their community without personal financial reward.
Due to TMG Health Day 2019’s July activity, the management team and staff of Blúport Hua Hin Resort Mall, along with Trash Hero Team joined together to clean up trash from the beach in front of Navi Phirom Hotel. This activity was held to raise awareness on environmental issue among the participants and encourage them to do good deeds to honor King Rama X. They removed a whopping 270 kilograms of rubbish consisting of cigarette butts, plastic bags, bottles, and so on.

Aiming to promote tourism in Cha-Am, this festival encourages tourists to enjoy a period when there are many squid in the sea and birds migrating from cold weather in the far north of Asia. The highlights include stage performances and a seafood fair launched by restaurants and hotels with the campaign of reducing using plastic bags and foam. All visitors can expect to be offered a free-of-charge guided tour taken place at the 3rd Training Center (Cha-Am) and Tung Takard Phalee with a chance to find out about Cha-Am’s bird population. Watch Out Fake Soldier Extorting Money
Recently, there had been social-media messages posted publicly of a man dressing up as a military officer and using the power that comes with such a uniform to extort money from motorcycle taxi drivers in Hua Hin. On 10th July 2019, Mr. Jirapat Panna, vehicle inspection operation of Department of Land Transport (Pranburi), along with SubLt. Sombhorn Hongtong, Chief of Order Maintenance Division, Pol. Capt. Pradit Sukchareon, sub-Inspector (Traffic), went check motorcycle taxis in Hua Hin area whether they get extorted money. The authorities had conducted random inspections of three motorcycle taxi points where most tourists usually take the service in the area of Hua Hin such as Clock Tower, Hua Hin Market Village, and Railway Station.
The motorcyclists told the authorities they neither got extorted money nor heard the news about fake officers. If the post is true, all motorcyclists will surely warn each other. The authorities, however, stressed the motorcycle taxis, “Please do call the police and take pictures if they see fake military officer collecting inspection fees” The inspection conducted found that the post on social media might be fake since the authorities did not see any gangs dressing in fake military outfits to extort money from motorcycle taxis. Nevertheless, the officers still need more details and evidence, so if anyone sees extortion gang, please notify the police, Damrongdhama Center or Department of Land Transport, said Mr. Jirapat Panna

Termination of a Health or Life Insurance Contract and the Consequence Termination of a Health or Life Insurance Contract can follow a False Statement given to the Insurer which allows the Insurer to nullify the Contract.
Another form of termination can be made by under Section 894 of the Civil and Commercial Code, which states: “The Insured is entitled, at any time, to terminate the Contract of Insurance by discontinuing to pay the Premium. If the Premium has been paid for at least 3 years, he is entitled to receive from the Insurer the Surrender Value of the Policy or Paid Up Policy”. By the above provision, the Insured can easily terminate the Contract by stopping payment of the Premium with two possible consequences. 1. In a case when the Insured has paid the Premium for less than 3 years consecutively, there is no cash value of the Policy consequently the Insured cannot get any cash back and cannot change the Policy to be a Paid Up Policy. 2. If the premium has been paid for more than 3 years, there is a cash value in the Policy which can be paid back to the Insured or the Insured can request that the Policy is changed into a Paid Up Policy. This means a reduction to the benefit in compliance with the paid amount of the Premium and the insurance will continue until the expiry date of the Contract. The two different results are a consequence of the Cash Value of the Policy. By law after paying premium for three consecutive years a cash value has been created which will increase as long as you keep paying. It will be equal to or more than the final benefit on expiry of the Insurance Contract.

6 34 New Land and Property Tax Forces Site Owners to Consider Options
THE NEW Land and Property Tax that comes into effect in January 2020 will present a new challenge for the Thai property market. rental parking. Although parking rates are much lower in Thailand than in Japan, developing car parking may be the easiest way to generate income on many sites and requires the lowest level of capital outlay by the owner. A second alternative for some owners could be leasing out the site to a third party. Leasing land could be done for either the short term or long term, but again only certain locations offer development potential along with demand from third-party tenants. For the past 7 years we have been holding a competition each Thursday for both Members and Guests. We generally have 2 stableford competitions , one Strokeplay and one team game each month. All non- members enjoy a special green fee for these competitions, price dependant on High or Low Season green fees. The entry fee to the competition for members and nonmembers is 200 baht, all of which is given out as prizes. In addition to this, the club donates a 100 baht voucher for each player taking part, which is added to the prize fund, to be spent in the Pro-Shop. The cash and the vouchers are given out to the players after the competition along with a prize for nearest the pin on all par 3 holes. Sometimes we have as many as 8 prizes, dependant on the number of players taking part. At the moment we have a special offer for all players, playing at least twice each week, details shown below. 10 38 Gary Stevens Appointed Head Coach of Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy
Former England, Totttenham and Brighton defender Gary Stevens is getting back to grass roots football. The 1984 UEFA Cup winner and 1986 World Cup veteran will start coaching at the Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy in September. Stevens has managed Thai Port and Army FC in the Thai Premier League. He made 204 appearances for Tottenham between 1983 and 1990 but is excited to pursue a challenge outside of the professional game, “The Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy is family run and the children here have so much enthusiasm for football. I love the pressure of professional management, despite the lack of job security but it will be refreshing for me to be able to work on a long term basis with children who are just playing because they love the game,” said Stevens. He is also looking forwards to working with the Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy to provide coaching to children from impoverished backgrounds, “One of the things that really appealed to me about the Black Mountain Hua Hin Football Academy is that they work closely with local charity Jungle Aid to do coaching for stateless children near the border with Myanmar. The Pros Getting It Wrong – Relief from Obstructions
Northern Irishman Darren Clarke failed to make the cut at his first US Senior Open after picking up a bizarre two stroke penalty during his opening round.

However, Clarke was only entitled to relief if it directly interfered with his stance or his swing, which it did not. The problem centered on what is considered movable and what is considered immovable. USGA Rule 15.2: Movable Obstructions: This rule covers free relief that is allowed from artificial objects that meet the definition of movable obstruction. It does not give relief from immovable obstructions (a different type of free relief is allowed under Rule 16.1) or boundary objects or integral objects (no free relief is allowed).” It adds: “Without penalty, a player may remove a movable obstruction anywhere on or off the course and may do so in any way.” Clarke, who turned 50 last year, carded a three over par 73 to sit in a tie for 101st at the Warren Golf Course, Notre Dame, Indiana.
The caddie, technically, had a point. The bird feeder is movable, as he proved. But in the eyes of the USGA, it is considered an immovable obstruction because it is a permanent fixture on the course.
Things had been shaping up reasonably well for Clarke when he made the turn at one under par after three birdies and two dropshots on his opening nine.
Rule 16-1 says: This Rule covers free relief that is allowed from interference by animal holes, ground under repair, immovable obstructions or temporary water.
However, it was at the tenth that things turned sour. With Clarke’s ball left of the fairway, the Northern Irishman was in discussions with a rules official when his caddie attempted to remove a bird house that seemed to be in his man’s line of shot.
A player only receives relief when a) the player’s ball touches or is in or on an abnormal course condition b) abnormal course condition physically interferes with the player’s area of intended stance or area of intended swing c) or only when the ball is on the putting green, an abnormal course condition on or off the putting green intervenes on the line of play.”. In other words, there’s no relief.
Clarke was then told later in his round that the bird house is deemed an immovable obstruction and therefore could not be interfered with. Clarke’s caddie had mistakenly thought the bird house was a movable obstruction, defined in the rules as something that can be moved “without unreasonable effort or without damaging the obstruction or the course”, which he would have been free to move.
To make matters worse, Clarke was not informed about the penalty until after he finished the hole. Thus, the former British Open champion’s bogey turned into a triple bogey and his round was shot. He was clearly not happy with the ruling.

About The Rules: Playing The Wrong Ball
If you discover on the green you played the wrong ball you must locate your ball and go back and play it. In stroke play, there is a 2-stroke penalty if you played the wrong ball. After taking the 2-stroke penalty, assess the situation and go back and locate and play your own ball. If your own ball is lost, you treat it as a lost ball and go back to where you hit it before it became lost. If it turns out another player is playing your ball, the other player must likewise go back and correct the mistake and take a 2-stroke penalty for hitting the wrong ball. The stroke made with the wrong ball (and any more strokes) does not count. If you don’t correct the mistake before making a stroke to begin the next hole you are disqualified. If you are on the final green, you need to go back and correct it before turning in your scorecard or be disqualified (Rule 6). In match play, the penalty for playing the wrong ball is loss of hole. If the players hit each other’s ball, the first to make a stroke at a wrong ball gets loss of hole. If it is not known which wrong ball was played first, there is no penalty and the hole must be played out with the balls exchanged (Rule 6).

Clarification Rule 7 Ball Moved During A Search
If you or a fellow player accidently move your ball during a search, you must put it back without penalty. If you do not know the original position, it must be estimated as accurately as possible. If you do not put the ball back, you will be playing the ball from the wrong spot and you will incur 2 PENALTY STROKES. When identifying your ball, if you cannot tell whether the ball found is yours, you are allowed to mark it and pick it up for

identification. If its lie has not been marked beforehand or if the ball is cleaned more than needed for identification, 1 PENALTY STROKE IS INCURRED. The ball is then to be put back on exactly the same spot and the original lie to be restored (e.g. embed the ball in high grass etc.). As a matter of courtesy and to avoid misunderstandings, it is advisable to inform your fellow players of this in advance.

The prev ious evening’s soirée was at the COAST Beach Club & Bistro with Aude’s expressive sultry vocal talent and evocative saxophon e accompanied by the Centara’s own musical duo on stage performing some musical classics. This was a fully booked evening of fine dining and fine entertainment beachside on an equally sultry evening. Smooth jazz and Bossa Nova was the musical theme of the evening with Aude preferring to sing in the original language of the song , including ‘Brazilian-Portuguese’; perhaps the mother tongue of Bossa Nova. T hat favoured musical style could be described as a fusion of samba and jazz. Bossa Nova or ‘new trend’ or ‘new wave’ is perhaps the best know musical export from

Aude (as she is known on her latest CD), is no stranger to Hua Hin. There’s a story that her husband Gilles was a long term platonic friend who had decided to move here to open a restaurant as an adjunct to his jazz bar in Le Havre, France.
However separation provoked much stronger feelings and a mutual realisation that there was too much at stake for a long term separation. That reu nion led to marriage several years ago at the Monsoon Valley vineyard.
An independent eye witness describes the wedding as a very romantic occasion with Aude serenading her new husband on the balcony of the Sala Restaurant and not a dry eye or glass in the house! Now apart from continuing her career in France, including the production of musical theatre and pantomime, the family, including daughter Maliann, will remain as frequent visitors to Thailand with performances in Bangkok and always at the Centara in Hua Hin. It may be another year before Aude graces the stage at the Centara with some members of the local French population hoping that can again coincide with their national day. Rajabhakti Park Rajabhakti Park, located in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, is a historically themed park honouring past Thai seven kings from the Sukhothai period to the current royal house of Chakri. The seven kings made great contributions to the country in each period of Thai history.
Wat Huay Mongkol Hua Hin Wat Huay Mongkol Hua Hin--this Buddhist temple is home to the world’s largest statue of Luang Phor Thuad, a legendary southern Thai monk revered for his enlightenment and ability to perform miracles. Many believe that the amulets created in his image guarantee safety in times of distress. They are King Ram Khamhaeng (reigned 1279-1298) of the Sukhothai period, King Naresuan (1590-1605) and King Narai (1656-1688) of the Ayutthaya period, King Taksin (1767-1782) of the Thonburi period, and King Rama I (1782-1809), King Mongkut (18511868), and King Chulalongkorn (1868-1910) of the Rattanakosin period. They were designed by Thailand’s Fine Arts Department. His Majesty the King (King Rama IX) granted royal permission for the Royal Thai Army to build this park. He also gave this historical park the name “Rajabhakti Park,” which means the park built with the people’s loyalty to the institution of the monarchy. Rajabhakti Park is open to visitors every day, between 8:00 and 18.00 hours. No entrance free. You must follow cover your shoulders and knees – clothes are available to borrow.
Hua Hin’s station Hua Hin’s popularity began to increase in the 1920’s as the railway line from Bangkok was constructed and King Rama VI built Klai Kangwon Palace as a summer retreat. Hua Hin’s station is one of the oldest in Thailand and its main feature is The Royal Waiting Room that used to welcome King and his court when they were visiting the town.

Originally, it was situated at Sanamchan Palace in Nakom Pathom and was known as Plub Pla Sanamchan. Eventually, the room was tranported to Hua Hin. It is designed in the same style as Maruekkhathayawan Palace and is an attraction not to be missed if you are staying in Hua Hin. The train station is located at the top (west end) of Damnoern Kasem Road.

The Cha-Am ATV Park
is situated on Bor Khaem Road of Km.#198 Phetchakasem Road, Tambon Cha-Am, (about 8 KM. from Cha-Am beach / 22 KM. from Hua-Hin market) covering a total area of 43 rai. Phra Ratchaniwet Mrigadayavan With a breezy seaside location 12km north of Hua Hin, this summer palace – Phra Ratchaniwet Mrigadayavan – was built in 1924 during the reign of Rama VI. Set in a beautiful garden with statuesque trees and stunning sea views, it’s a series of 18 interlinked teak buildings with tall, shuttered windows and patterned fretwork built upon stilts. The functional but elegant style of the palace was a result of Rama VI suffering from rheumatoid arthritis; the court’s Italian architect designed it to maximise air circulation and make the most of the seaside location. A slow-motion renovation means there will be no interior access for many years (access may not resume even after the renovation is finished, but this is still uncertain), which is unfortunate, but it’s lovely on the outside too and still worth a visit. There’s also a nature trail here. The palace is within the grounds of Camp Rama VI, a military base. It’s easiest to get here with private transport but you can also catch a Hua Hin–Cha-am bus and ask to be dropped off at the camp’s front gate. As this is a royal palace, legs and arms must be covered, otherwise you’ll have to pay 20B to wear a sarong.
