VARSITY hen you picked up this guide to Varsity it may have surprised some of you to learn that we haven’t just thrown together a short booklet on why we love a bar in town, far from it. Varsity is so much more; it’s a tradition, a rivalry and to many the most important event each year in the sporting calendar.

Bradford took place in 1988 and has continued to go from strength to strength. Alternating between the two towns, and will undoubtedly be the biggest ever. The event has evolved over the years to allow for more Sports to be included and for the ever-growing interest from spectators, however the principles remain very much the same; whether playing, supporting, working or volunteering, it is all about pride in the University that you represent and passion for them to be successful.
