On June 13th the Village of Cuchara will host our largest June event, the Cuchara Country Music Festival. When you join us in Cuchara, you'll feel like you just walked into the set of the old Bonanza TV series, as you stroll along the covered boardwalks and rough-hewn pine buildings of this iconic western town. Visit the Festival's website to get the full line up for this full day of music, dancing and fun. Then make your lodging reservations quickly, as accommodations in Cuchara are limited. Then again, setting up base camp in La Veta or Walsenburg would be a great alternative. There are many great lodging values available year round in Huerfano County.
