in an area with a lot of heavy traffic road connections and not many public areas, the site acts as a lung that helps the area breath and bring the influence from gunnersbury park further into Chiswick. This public space intention is also shown in the draft local plan review document, where it is considered with that use, becoming a focal point in the area, and becoming part of the public realm axis coming from Power Road. A new public square within the built perimeter of this site would be the location of a retail area and provide opportunities for social interaction. The square at the heart of the site will establish respite from the noise and activity of the busy A4, M4, and railway corridors, through appropiate landscaping, amenities, and shaded areas. The area is undergoing considerable change and has the potential to provide new connections, services, employment opportunities and new homes.

The project is located the Sudanese capital of Khartoum (30km south of the centre) .The architectural approach will be developed as a summary of grids or layers, including relation in between the different programs and response to the surroundings. The relation in between this will set not only the foot print of the buildings, but also the public and private relation in between the pieces of the puzzle.We create a game of private and public plazas that will communicate to create a central plaza , providing a place to rest for the people around the scheme. The materiality of the scheme will be designed with the concept of “Set of Pieces” as an idea of manufacturing simple and intuitive modules of façade that can be adapted to each of the programs and weather situations that surround the building.

The Student accommodation:
the concept of this building will follow the principles of the medical school, to generate a relation in between the healthcare buildings. The mass will be emptied to create the private courtyard. The second step will be breaking the mass to relate the cluster to the surroundings and generate visual relations.A number of bridges will connect the buildings to create terraces looking both to the internal courtyard and to the general plaza. the materiality of the student accommodation will follow the same ideas as the medical school concept but will be develop to ensure the simplicity of the modules by generating just 5 typologies all along the clusters.
The Medical School:
the Concept for this building began as a container for the program. It then breaks into 2 main pieces of program adapted to the areas and dimensions of each of them. To continue with the courtyard concept an atrium will be generated by breaking the mass and creating visual connections. The program will be order by privacy, starting from the more public program in ground floor and increasing privacy from there to the last level. the materiality of the building will be designed with the concept of â&#x20AC;&#x153;Set of Piecesâ&#x20AC;? as an idea of manufacturing simple and intuitive modules of façade that can be adapted to each of the programs and weather situations that surround the building.

PAU de Valdebebas acceso P
El proyecto urbanistico del PAU de Valdebebas propone la construccion de un centro comercial de aproximadamente 145000m2 en el solar numero 166. Por sus dimensiones seria una de los mas grandes de la Comunidad de Madrid, por lo que atiende a una escala supraregional e incluso internacional teniendo en cuenta a la cercania del aeropuerto Madrid-Barajas. El proyecto, que esta ubicado en una ciudad-dormitorio situada a 21 Km del centro de Madrid, cuenta con un desarrollo poco denso y una vida social bastante pobre, se erigira como el nuevo emblema del area, que potenciara y activara. Se trata entonces de un polo de atraccion para el desarrollo de la ciudad, a traves del comercio, ocio y diversion. Pero con un tratamiento y consideracion del limite de la ciudad y el entorno sub-agricola en el que se encuentra.

acceso P ESCALA TERRITORIAL A escala ciudad el proyecto pretende convertirse en un foco comercial y de ocio, no solo del barrio de Valdebebas, si no del resto de la ciudad de Madrid, ya que ademas del espacio comercial, el hecho diferenciador sera el espacio ludico al aire libre vinculado a las compras, un gran parque flexible para todo tipo de actividades.
The project is placed in Valdebebas (Madrid). It uses the original topography and tries to adapt to it using the slope of 25 meters (from southeast to northwest) of the plot. The proposal blurs the boundary between the built and the natural, responding to a greater urban strategy: the creation of a continuos perimeter green corridor that protects road infrastructure and becomes this area in attractor focus for the development of the neighbourhood. On this pretext, the goal of this project is to reflect on the model of the mall that currently exists and a number of strategies to rethink what is the main Street of the XXI century. TERRITORY/LANDSCAPE as a starting point, as an element of memory, the original topography is use to try to make the minimum possible clearance, and so thereby achieve continuity between the territory and the city, a large park that surrounds and limits the Northwest expansion of the city. This PARK is formalised thought different operations on the deck, cuts that formalises courtyards inside the mall, extrusions that protect, delimit and give more visibility to input spaces, which have a more harsh treatment because of its use linked inside and perforations are provided for ventilation interior spaces. This park is a space programmatic indefiniteness, as opposed to an interior defined by the loop, it is a space of possibilities, where leisure and nature are intended to create a place, interior and exterior merge, two experiences are created different, depending on where you access 1 urban facade has a porch and collects traffic flows of the city, 2 experience from the park, 3 users accessing private utility.

A escala ciudad el proyecto pretende convertirse en un foco comercial y de ocio, no solo del barrio de Valdebebas, si no del resto de la ciudad de Madrid, gracias a la buena conexion a traves de la red de carreteras y el trafico que genera el Aeropuerto Internacional de Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas.
The main utility, the SHOPPING CENTRE located in the interior is defined by a continuous space, the loop. Our project also has a number of basic rules that ensure profitable> 1. The project combates homogeneity. It is attributed to a repetition of spaces, the car as protagonist, and a lack of urban identity. “The living city MANIFESTO” proposes a number of strategies creating a flexible and extensible framework for action in time. We set three layers, three visions, three ways of understanding the city that generate an identity, the “city”: URBAN DOMESTIC, ICONIC three types of different public space from its housing density to the consequent urban morphology. URBAN is the outer layer, is set as the filter between “El Barrio del Pilar” and the inner world, the hard part, contact where commercial uses are and flows between public and private are filtered. The strategy is densify edge, by building and creating new housing. Rules are set to regulate the morphology generating as a result a permeable block. DOMESTIC the intermediate layer, is the green cord that is regulated by a landscape approach to architecture. Concepts such as domesticity and occupation of the street are taken. It is a friendly place where the dwellings open to the outside, through a series of additions and ephemeral prefabrication plug-ins. ICONIC is the heart, the central spaces, underground car parks are converted into public facilities linked to residences above. Thus we find single-family homes of minimum area that contains all their equipment, which will also have a personal character capable of giving identity to each of the squares. This will link public programs such as schools, libraries, sports facilities or pedestrian routes. PROJECT 8 /
