Restaurant 301 at Carter House Inns is a Wine Spectator Grand Award winning restaurant with over 3,800 wine selections. This prestigious honor is bestowed on a mere 100 restaurants worldwide, and has been held by Restaurant 301 for the past 25 years.

In addition to having the area’s finest Wine List, we also have a whiskey bar that rivals the best in the world. Our whiskey list 100+ whiskeys includes the highly allocated Old Carter Whiskeys. Mark’s Carter’s passion for the finest small batch whiskeys are brought directly from Kentucky.

The Inn also produces its own wine under the Carter Cellars label. With seven 100-point wines, Carter Cellars wines have become a cult classic. They specialize in limited production Cabernet Sauvignons and Merlots from the finest vineyards in Napa Valley, including the famous To Kalon vineyard in Oakville, California.

Meals are made with the soul of a chef. Food is created with attention to detail and are worthy to be savored.
