Opened in 1926, the Benbow Historic Inn has long been known for fine dining and gracious hospitality. Treasured by many for its warm atmosphere, fi ne food and excellent wine list, the Benbow Historic Inn was voted “One of the Best Restaurants in the World for Wine Lovers” by Wine Spectator Magazine. Dinner at the Inn is truly a celebration of life and the pleasures of the table.

The culinary team, led by classically-trained Executive Chef Ethan Brown, offers seasonal menus insightfully crafted to showcase the freshest local farm produce, Shelter Cove fish and herbs and vegetables from our Culinary Garden. Our extensive wine program includes carefully selected Wines-By-The-Glass to accompany both Fine Dining and Casual choices, and a cellar with over 400 stellar options to enhance our ingredient-driven cuisine.

Hotel guests enjoy Tea and Scones every afternoon in the Terrace Lobby surrounded by antiques, objets d’art, puzzles, books and board games.

Service in the Dining Room, led by Restaurant and Lounge Manager Kelly Coleman, reflects the hospitality and warmth of a by-gone era. Benbow’s staff strives to make each meal a relaxing and pleasurable experience.
