4. We have the hush on international Make up brands that are now a hush revealed! Words: gosia gorniak For international hush, I decided to share the hush on a few of my favorite brands of makeup from all around the world that are not sold here in america. Whenever I go to Europe I load up on product from these brands. European women (I am one, obviously))love them! My advice would be to try them out and love them too! #HUShonbeauty 1. Art deco Is a German brand that made it’s debut in 1985 and specializes in high end cosmetics. Art Deco is known for cosmetics that are magnetic! From eye shadows, mascaras and foundations, to their very popular false eyelashes. Good quality, original colors, beautiful packaging makes this brand very desirable and truly loved. Art Deco happens to the be the number one brand in Germany.
2. Helena RubInstien Helena Rubinstein started making cosmetics 110 yrs ago. This brand is responsible for creating waterproof mascara! Helena offers a wide range of color cosmetics including eye shadows, eye liners, lipsticks, lip glosses, blushes, powders and makeup removers.
3. Pupa Pupa is an Italian brand of makeup established 20 yrs ago. Pupa has become a world leader in the cosmetic industry. Pupa surprises you with beautiful, glamorous and collectable packaging. Pupa has a line of intensive skin care products featuring fragrances and bath products.
4. Inglot The brand’s name is the last name of it’s founder Wojciech Inglot. This Polish brand of cosmetics started in the mid 1980’s. The brand has been revamped and the product has been upgraded. INGLOT specializes in nail polish and carries over 500 colors! I love them for the wide range of colors and amazing quality. I recommend eye pigments and gel liners.

1. Costa rica Orange Juice and water Costa Rican women dab this mixture on their skin and face to shrink pores. Apply to the skin and then rinse.

WORLD TOUR! If you are a fan of reality TV (and how can you not be) and a fan of fashion, you might just be a rupie, addicted to a certain show called Rupauls drag race. Not just for the LBGT Community, Drag Race (which airs on the Logo Network), appeals to everyone. Season 4 did not disappoint, with more twists and turns! Enter Chicagos own, Jaremi Carey (pictured here) who’s alter ego, PHI PHI Ohara (see Jaremi as Phi Phi pictured on Page 30) became one of the break out stars from this season. I caught up with Jaremi at Chicago’s famous wig store, Heads and Threads, one day before he was heading out to begin the Absolut World Tour with his cast mates from the show. Lucky for me, he revealed some HUSH! HUSH: I love you, you were amazing on the show! What are you up to, whats next? Jaremi: thank you! Im actually headed to nyc and start touring. The absolut tour from the show is about to start. Hush: omg? Wonderful! Would you consider doing your own phi-phi ohara reality show? Jaremi: actually, I would. Im still very close with everyone from the show, except willam. Im looking forward to my music being released soon. My single drops the second week in june.

WORDS BY: sarah zak Inspired by the Button Tower of the cathedral at Rouen, France, the Tribune Tower exemplifies the way American architects have elevated office buildings to sacred status. Newspaper publisher Colonel Robert R. McCormick held a $50,000.00 international competition to design, "the most beautiful and eye-catching office building in the world." In some estimations, it succeeded. The tower has all of the traditional elements of a skyscraper plus heritage expressed in flying buttresses, spires, grotesques, and more. The base of the Tribune Tower contains 120 stones from important locations all around the world, including the Parthenon, in Greece; the pyramids, in Egypt; the Taj Mahal, in India; the Alamo, in San Antonio; the Great Wall of China; and Injun Joe Cave in Missouri.
