Ancestry Library Edition
MyHeritage
Trace your family history using this popular genealogy database. Search records from the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia, NZ, Canada, the USA, and the Pacific Islands.
Search more than 13 billion historical records from all around the world including birth, death, marriage, census, immigration, military, gravestone photos and much more.
Ancestry Library Edition is accessible from home until the end of the year.
Offers collections not found anywhere else, including more than 2.4 billion exclusive names in family trees.
Findmypast Collection of genealogical records from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA and Pacific Islands. Search Census and electoral rolls, migration, probate, land, parish records and more. Findmypast is accessible from home until 31 August by emailing libraries@huttcity.govt.nz.
My Heritage can be accessed from home.
The British Newspaper Archive Search over 700 British and Irish newspaper titles from 1710 to 2000. Includes news articles, photos, and family notices about New Zealand, accounts of visits to the UK by prominent Māori, and more to help your whakapapa research. The British Newspaper Archive is only accessible in our libraries.
