Create a zine! 16 December, 2pm 13 January, 2pm Naenae Community Library Want to publish a story, some drawings, a comic, your thoughts ...anything at all? Come find out about zines (pronounced 'zeen' like magazine!), then get stuck in to create your own. We’ll supply drawing, cutting and gluing materials to create an eightpage zine out of a single A4 page. Do your own thing or work together with others. All ages welcome but parental supervision required for those under the age of eight. Check out Part-time Geniuses, the zine created at our [common room] young writers' club, on ePukapuka at library.huttcity.govt.nz


Warhammer [common room] 14 & 15 January, 2pm War Memorial Library 22 & 23 January, 2pm Eastbourne Community Library Learn how to assemble and paint a Warhammer model. You’ll end up with a completed model to keep and use in tabletop and roleplaying games! This event is for youth ages 11+. If you are younger than 11 and want to come you need to bring an adult with you: they will be asked to help build your model. A big thank you to Games Workshop: Lower Hutt for making these sessions possible!

Wainuiomata Toy Library Wainuiomata Community Hub now has its own Toy Library! The Toy Library opens Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-11am and occasionally on Saturday 2-4pm. Visit Wainuiomata Toy Library 2019 on Facebook for more information.
