Film Screening: Kupe - Voyaging by the Stars Taita Library, Walter Nash Centre Wednesday 15 July, 12pm Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision presents this recently restored documentary of national importance. Revered navigator Sir Hekenukumai ‘Hek’ Busby and his crew use ancient star navigation traditions to sail an 1,800-mile ocean voyage in his traditional double-hulled waka, Te Aurere.
