Passions Into Print Wednesday 29 May, 6pm Petone Library Hear local authors (Ian Harris, Richard Hall and Keith Westwater) talk about the books that came from their passions: hunting and the wilderness, rethinking Christianity in a secular world, and tracing a long-lost childhood. Artificial Intelligence, Trust and Society Thursday 30 May, 6:30pm War Memorial Library Digital innovation surrounding big data, AI, machine learning and predictive data modelling is advancing rapidly largely unchecked. Dr. Steve McKinlay will examine some of the ethical and societal implications and highlight some of the concerns.
