Brainwave Trust aims to reach people with vital information on what is happening inside babies’ brains in the first critical years, and how this impacts on adulthood.

The Collectors: Sydney Charles Smith Join Heritage Specialist Clark Stiles for a look at the Wellington photographer Sydney Charles Smith who took many photographs of Lower Hutt in the first half of the 20th century. Always the Sound of the Sea: The daily lives of NZ lighthouse keepers
InsideOUT will be here to help you find awesome LGBTIQ+ reads with their resource: “Out on the Shelves - Connecting rainbow young people with the stories that represent them.” There will be comfy beanbags and a positive talk from InsideOUT about the language of gender and sexuality. Petone Library is getting new carpet! After their shelving makeover Petone Library is now due for new carpet. They'll be closed on Friday 22 June and Saturday 23 June while the carpet is installed. Pop in and visit them once they're back open to check out their new layout and carpet!
