Rocketry Presentation & Demonstration

Join Te Ropu Awhina of Victoria University and Hutt City Libraries as we use waka rockets to test Newton’s third law - for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. FREE and suitable for all ages. Parental supervision advised for younger children.

Tamariki will be guided through making a side scrolling runner game inspired by Robot Unicorn Attack. The Collectors: Petone Photographer Albert Percy Godber
Book Night
Godber worked at the Petone Railway Workshops for many years. During this time he was a keen and prolific amateur photographer. His collection, now held at the Alexander Turnbull Library, forms an essential record of life in Petone in the first decades of the 20th century. Stepping UP Computer Classes
Petone Library is Having a Makeover!
FREE computers classes are available with the 2020 Trust for Hutt City residents with basic, or no computer skills.
Petone Library will be closed from 16-18 May while they undergo a refurbishment
Term 2 classes start Monday 30 April.
During this time you'll still be able to return items but the library will be inaccessible.
This term there are new sessions on creating a CV and setting up an online account with Work and Income. Find out more and register online at www.library.huttcity.govt.nz, phone 04 570 6633, or ask at your local library.
Reservations held at Petone Library will be unavailable while theyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;re closed but their pick-up dates will be extended.
