Colonial Businesswomen in the Hutt and Beyond 24 November, 2pm Petone Library Hear about Petone’s scandalous first steam laundry owner and other colonial businesswomen of the Hutt Valley. Presented by Catherine Bishop, author of ‘Women Mean Business: Colonial Businesswomen in New Zealand’.

Digital Wellbeing Parents, grandparents and other caregivers can build their confidence, knowledge and skills in guiding and supporting safe online practices for themselves and their tamariki at these free hands-on workshops run with the Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa. Registration is essential. Talk to staff at the library for more information.
