Restaurant Review Blue Ginger is situated in Bridgnorth, Low Town, the restaurant is warm and welcoming and provides the perfect setting in which to relax and enjoy mouth-watering flavours and aromas of some of the finest Indian fusion cuisine around. My colleague, Andrew, and I went along on a pleasant Thursday evening to sample some of the dishes on offer and we were really looking forward to it after a hard day at work. We were warmly welcomed by Ali, who has been the proprietor for over 10 years now.
There are a wide range of drinks available from champagne to draught beers, I opted for a soft drink as I had driven and Andy was tempted by a Bathams Best Bitter: brewed in the Midlands and probably the best

example of the traditional Black Country style of bitter – is there a better partner to a meal?
We had a selection of poppadoms; spicy, roasted and plain, as well as an
array of dips including a sweet Mango, punchy Chilli and Lime Pickles which were freshly prepared and very tasty. A great way to kickstart your taste buds.
We decided to go for a sharing platter for our starter, which has Malai Chicken, Monk Fish and Chicken Tikka, all lightly spiced and marinated. This came served with a tasty selection of vegetables and was quite simply stunning. The chicken was beautifully cooked and the flavours were sensational, Andy isn’t really a seafood fan but the Monk fish really won him over and became his firm favourite of the trio, with its meaty texture and delicate flavour.
For our main courses we opted for Sea-bass Aloo Palak; wonderfully tasty sea-bass fillet cooked with baby

potato and spinach leaves in a chatt masala and black pepper for myself and Lamb Shank cooked in a delectable sauce with garlic and spices, producing a medium hot dish. We also had a selection of rice including a wonderful spinach & garlic fried rice which was amazing, and a freshly cooked garlic & coriander naan and paratha; extra light buttered wheat bread, which goes brilliantly with fish dishes. My Sea-bass was elegantly flavoured and cooked superbly and the baby potato and spinach leaves were a winning combination. Andy sliced into the lamb shank and the meat literally fell from the bone, it was so tender there was hardly any need to chew at all, as it melted in his mouth – he was very impressed, neither of us left a morsel on our plate! We loved the elegance of the dishes, the presentation was immaculate, the dishes were not overpowering, meaning that you could enjoy the flavours and taste the freshness of each ingredient and truly taste the difference in each mouthful.
Blue Ginger is the epitome of style and elegance, suitable for all; from a romantic meal for two to a larger party celebrating a special occasion, this is simply a great place to eat, promising a truly delectable taste experience. The chefs are innovative, continuously working to create mouth- watering new Indian dishes to complement traditional favourites. Blue Ginger is much more than just an Indian Restaurant; it’s a wonderful dining experience, where you will enjoy the finest contemporary and fusion Indian cuisine available in the area, it is simply one of the most stunning Indian Restaurants.

Barry and Natalie have made many noticeable improvements both to the interior and exterior of the building that have been welcomed by the customers without detracting from the original ‘olde worlde’ atmosphere that makes a visit to The Lion such a pleasant experience. The most noticeable change is the transformation of the waste land to the rear of The Lion into a beautifully landscaped beer garden and well equipped children’s play area that is fully enclosed. Children can play safely and parents can relax and enjoy the scenery.
THE LION - Priorslees best kept secret!

There is a small barn conversion to the rear of the pub available for hire for small functions and meetings. Also there are disabled facilities, with access to all areas of The Lion, baby changing facilities and high chairs for those bringing their families.
Barry and Natalie have been the owners of the Lion for just over six years. They pride themselves in transforming a well established but average and underutilised old coaching inn, into a beautifully well maintained, family friendly and welcoming local. The Lion boasts a very comprehensive and varied selection of home cooked foods with separate menus for lunchtime and evening diners. They also offer a good selection of real ales, lagers, ciders and fine wines and have been awarded the ‘Cask Marque’ accreditation.

ST TROPEZ LIQUEUR A TASTE OF THE RIVIERA IN TELFORD!
CORE CONVENIENCE STORES! If you visit Core Convenience Stores in Trench and Wellington, you may be surprised to see that they are now the exclusive retailers of the St Tropez Liqueur brand, which they were thrilled to be able to offer to locals with a discerning, sophisticated taste.
St Tropez Liqueur dates back as far back as 500 BC and is still lovingly crafted with the same ancient traditions. Locals would gather wild white peaches from the hillsides overlooking St Tropez, which were then distilled. Over time, as the trade routes opened, exotic additions such as the essential oil – Ylang Ylang and Japanese Yuzu fruit were experimented with creating the first St Tropez Liqueur, which proved to be very popular.
A new generation of skilled artisans have skilfully recreated the ancient formula, which is on sale at the Core Convenience Stores. Best served chilled, St Tropez Liqueur makes an ideal drink all on its own or you can use it as a superb cocktail ingredient! Mix it with Champagne or Prosecco for a sophisticated summertime tipple. ST Tropez Liqueur, with its peachy tones, is a really delightful drink, the unique flavours of Ylang Ylang and Yuzu creating a unique sunny taste which you simply have to try - Perfect for the Summer!

Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards Comes to the Wellington Festival!
The annual Wellington Festival is a spectacular 3-week celebration of arts and culture taking place in the vibrant market town of Wellington and showcasing artists of national and international renown. This year, the Wellington Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary and, with funding and support from Wellington Town Council and local businesses, we are proud that the event remains one of the largest free access festivals in the UK. This means that all events, without exception, are free to attend.
Each year, the Festival brings together local and national artists to entertain audiences with an exciting mix of live performances including comedy, talks, photography, film, literature, music and workshops and, in 2016, a special Culture event. In celebration of its Anniversary, this year’s Festival will be bigger, bolder and more diverse than ever before.
Opening the Festival will be the Olympian (and national treasure) – Eddie “the eagle” Edwards - who will be talking about his escapades as he became the
first competitor to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping in 1988. This year, his story was told in the biographical film Eddie the Eagle, starring Hugh Jackman, which showed his perseverance and achievements all without funding. The following day will see a Comedy Club night with the award winning, and nationally acclaimed, comedian Hannah Sylvester and five further acts who have been delighting audiences across the country with their observational insight and cutting satire; this will be an evening to savour. From a travel-writing workshop with award-winning travel writer Marie Kreft to a talk by Tom Watt the radio sports presenter and ghost writer of David Beckham’s autobiography….
From The Nailmakers Daughters – three poets from the Black Country, whose poetry is deeply rooted in the history of the area to Poems and Pints hosted by Tony Stringfellow and an informal celebration of poetry in all its forms….
From the Royal Shakespeare Association
In addition to the above events, our Festival regulars will be pleased to see the return of Gloriana, Keele University and Colin Pinney. These are just a few of the unique experiences you can have during this year’s Festival. With over 30 events and a huge breadth of artists from many different art forms, its not surprising that so many of our audience eagerly anticipate the Festival programme each year. The Wellington Festival brings you events and experiences that you simply could not have at any other time.
Tickets will be available from the 1st July 2016 via our website www.wellingtonartsfest.co.uk, by emailing caroline.mulvihill@telford.gov.uk or write or pop into Wellington Town Council’s Civic Offices on Larkin Way, Tan Bank, Wellington, TF1 1LX Wellington looks forward to seeing you.

Local Feature...
Here at the Hype magazine we are proud of the fact that we work with so many local businesses and organisations to offer them a platform to reach out to our dedicated, local readership who like nothing more than putting local pounds in local tills! With this in mind, we are going to be highlighting different areas in Telford and its surrounds, highlighting the brilliantly diverse range of shops on offer right on our doorsteps. For the July/August edition we are starting with a relatively new kid on the block, Lawley. The new housing developments of Lawley have provided a great opportunity for businesses to thrive and we have a great range of shops on offer such as opticians, an array of fast food outlets, hairdressers and florists whilst enticing established businesses from outside of our area to set up shop here such as Plush Hill Cycles who offer a great range of products for everybody’s cycling needs and pride themselves on being a small shop that’s big on service.

Restaurant Review We are already big fans of Frankie & Benny’s New York/Italian restaurant which has branches in both Telford and Shrewsbury, there is always such a relaxed atmosphere when we go that we never fail to have a great time. They have recently had a change around in the Telford restaurant with a new seating plan as well as new menus to choose from.
We settled into our cosy booth and goggled the extensive menus, my husband’s eyes regularly being drawn to the dessert menu to the side of us, I could tell he was planning ahead but to start things off in traditional Frankie & Benny’s style we ordered some dough balls with garlic butter and spicy jalapeno cheese sauce, along with a Budweiser, which always go down a treat. To start we chose from the new menu options; Meatballs Italiano – Beef and pork meatballs with
8
New York/ Italian Restaurant...
Neapolitan sauce, salsa rossa, topped with lemon zest and served with freshly bakes rosemary bread and Classic Bruschetta Napoli – crisp ciabatta bread topped with homemade bruschetta mix, torn mozzarella and fresh basil. Stephan was very impressed with the
meatballs, which were tender, juicy and very flavoursome as was my bruschetta.
Another new menu option caught my eye - New Jersey Chicken; a generous chicken breast topped with crispy bacon and pulled pork, dished up with sizeable dollops of BBQ and Jalapeno cheese sauce, plus onion rings, corn on the cob, coleslaw and house fries and for Stephan the Cajun Chicken Calzone was too tempting to resist, I did wonder if he was going to fit in that huge dessert if he wasn’t careful. I was delighted with my New Jersey Chicken, which looked great but tasted amazing, even if three different meats feels a little greedy, the crunchy bacon with its perfect saltiness combined magically with the pulled pork and tender chicken. I couldn’t eat all of the fries, which were nice and crispy but the cheese sauce was the bomb – absolutely
Frankie & Bennys_Double Page Editorial 13/06/2016 16:39 Page 2
brilliant. Stephan’s Calzone didn’t disappoint either, bursting with chicken, mushrooms, red onion and mozzarella and smothered in a generous dollop of rich Neapolitan sauce but he was looking full…
He gazed at the ‘Godfather’ dessert on the front of the menu and I could see him weighing up if he could squeeze it in or not, eventually conceding, he ordered a Raspberry Trifle Sundae, which was still a towering glass with layers of vanilla ice cream, red berry compote, panna cotta and honeycomb pieces topped with a crown of whipped cream. I decided to go for the ‘Coffee & Cake’ option which for £3.95 net s you a choice of coffee and mini slice of citrus tart, which although small is bursting with lemony goodness! Frankie & Benny’s are hard to beat. There is a great atmosphere, brilliant service and loads of menu choices, including a 2 course midweek evening menu for £11.95, which is brilliant; you can safely say that you will never leave feeling hungry.
Just remember, if you have a smaller appetite you may want to order from the lighter options, especially if you really want to fit in that special dessert…

w Castle Ludlow Food Festival , 9-11 September, Ludlo World Class Attractions at 2016...
The Ludlow Food Festival is back in 2016 with a stellar line up of chefs and attractions, perfect for food lovers everywhere.
Great British Menu winner Richard Bainbridge will be taking to the stage as will Masterchef: The Professionals winner Mark Stinchcombe. If that wasn’t enough how about Raymond Blanc development chef Adam Johnson, his right hand man on TV series Kitchen Secrets. More names will be announced before the festival. Of course there will be some amazing producers exhibiting inside the castle, 180 to be precise with more setting up for the Sunday Market. The global phenomenon that is the ‘Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year’ Exhibition will be on display at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms throughout the weekend. Since 2011 30,000 images have been submitted for judging and the very best come to Ludlow each year on one of its rare stops around the UK.
2016 marks the centenary of Roald Dahl’s birthday and we’re working with the Ludlow Assembly Rooms on a series of events for children in the lead up to the festival. Children, and adults of course, will be able to watch Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on September 10 and there’s also the chance to win an extraordinary competition – a visit to the Zotter Chocolate factory in Austria! If you love discovering new ingredients and want a tutored tasting then the Slow Food Taste Workshops are perfect for you. In addition, this year festival organisers have invited some of the very best Slow Food producers from across the UK to join local
exhibitors. In addition to the activities inside the castle, a walk around Ludlow is definitely encouraged. You will find plenty to tempt you; not only the medieval streets and abundance of independent shops but also the famous Ludlow Food Festival food trails.
The very popular Sausage trail has had a revamp this year with guest butchers joining those around the town. For those that like beer there is the famous Ale and for those with a sweet tooth there will be pudding tasting, how many can you eat?
Little ones won’t miss out either with a special kids area with cookery lessons and an enchanted pavilion where they can play dress up and perform on stage. Ukulele players and CBeebies favourites, John and Jo from Spring to Life will be at the festival and there will be a tasty Slow Food ‘snail’ trail for kids around the festival, the snail referring to Slow Food’s logo not the food! It’s going to be one very tasty weekend. For more details about the festival please visit the website www.foodfestival.co.uk Marcus Bean

We’ve started to make plans for the 2016 festival of food & drink right in the heart of Oswestry. Last year, the weather was simply magnificent, more than a spot of sunshine would be most welcome!
It’s probably the most chilled food festival on the planet with a great atmosphere and properly local. Why wouldn’t we be local when we have some of the best food & drink producers in the country on our doorstep! We should celebrate that AND WE DO! Hope to see you there!

Fluffy
Pancakes With Berries &Cream
Ingredients
135g/4¾oz plain flour (sifted), 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp salt, 2 tbsp caster sugar, 130ml/4½fl oz milk, 1 large egg, lightly beaten, 2 tbsp melted butter (allowed to cool slightly) or olive oil, plus extra for cooking. Mixed berries and cream to finish.
Method
1 | Place the flour, baking powder, salt and caster sugar into a large bowl. In a separate bowl, lightly whisk together the milk and egg, then whisk in the melted butter. 2 | Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and, beat until you have a smooth batter. Allow the batter stand for a few mins. 3 | Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and add a knob of butter. When it's melted, add a ladle of batter. It will seem very thick but this is how it should be. Wait until the top of the pancake begins to bubble, then turn it over and cook until both sides are golden brown and the pancake has risen to about 1cm (½in) thick. Repeat until all the batter is used up. Keep the pancakes warm in a low oven. 4 |Serve with a generous helping of mixed berries and a dollop of cream. Summer breakfast doesn’t get better than this!
Ingredients
Strawberry Mojito
3-4 Fresh strawberries 4-5 fresh mint sprigs 30ml fresh lime juice (fresh Limes if cut into slices 2cm thick and quartered if you prefer) 60ml light rum (leave the rum out for an alcohol free version) 90-120ml soda water 2 tbsp soft sugar
Method
1 | In a chilled highball glass, muddle the sugar, lime, strawberries and mint leaves together with the back of a spoon or muddler. Crush the strawberries and mint leaves well. 2 | Stir in the rum and then fill the glass with crushed ice and top off with soda water. Stir gently. 3 | Garnish with mint sprigs & strawberry slices - Yum!
Ingredients
Fruity Kebab Sticks
Wooden or metal skewers Fruits of your choice: Kiwi, Raspberry, Strawberry, Melon, Blueberries, Pineapple & Orange (the options are endless!) (You can even add mini pancakes, using the recipe opposite but making them with table spoon of mixture)
Method
1 | Cut larger fruits into chunks, this makes them easier to load on to the skewers. 2 | Feed the fruit onto the skewers in whatever order you prefer making a tasty and healthy snack. Idea: Add one to a tall cocktail to make it look extra special or even in a glass of lemonade for the children.

Devon
UK
The warmest of welcomes awaits you on the English Riviera, South Devon’s Beautiful Bay. Surrounded by stunning coast and countryside, the towns of Torquay, Babbacombe, Paignton and Brixham offer fantastic all year round holidays for everyone, from couples to families, who want their holiday pound to go that little bit further. As one of the country’s most popular holiday destinations, there’s no shortage of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets ranging from luxury hotels to charming Bed and Breakfasts and Caravan & Camping sites.
Holidays 2016 Devon_Double Page Editorial 20/06/2016 14:02 Page 2
1. Torquay
We decided that we would give flying a miss this year and have opted for a staycation in glorious Devon. There are so many types of accommodation available from a caravn on one of the many Holiday Parks to luxury hotels - We liked the look of The Grand Hotel in Torquay, which has some great family offers available, which include Breakfast and Evening meals. They have indoor and outdoor heated pools, spa and gym facilities and are positioned on the beach in Torquay, what more could you need?
Great Staple Tor Dartmoor in Devon
2. Dartmoor National Park
The surrounding countryside is stunning, with Dartmoor National Park right on the doorstep. Dartmoor National Park is a vast moorland where Ponies roam its craggy landscape, defined by forests, rivers, wetlands and rocky tors. Trails wind through valleys with Neolithic tombs, Bronze Age stone circles and abandoned medieval farmhouses. The area has a handful of villages, including Princetown, home to Dartmoor Prison.
The Grand Hotel, Torquay
3. Beautiful Beaches
With some of the best beaches in the UK including Bantham Beach, which is long and sandy; perfect for the kids to have a swim as the water is shallow, Bigby-on-Sea with stunning views of Burgh Island, Blackpool Sands; one of the most stunning Blue Flag beaches in the region, Dawlish Warren for the wildlife enthusiasts and Hope Cove Beach; A sheltered, sandy cove in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is also Teignmouth Beach; a lovely family friendly beach overlooked by an impressive Victorian pier, with large children’s play area, skate park and crazy golf nearby. Grab your bucket and spade and a beach ball!
Cream Tea
4. Cream Teas
You can’t go to Devon without trying a fresch scone with clotted cream and lashings of strawberry preserve. Devon Afternoon tea has been a quintessentially English tradition since the 1800’s when the seventh Duchess of Bedford would become hungry around four o’clock in the afternoon. It became all the rage and is still popular now. Thank goodness for the Duchess of Bedford!
5. Dartmoor Ponies
Dartmoor Ponies at Bellever in Dartmoor National Park Devon
Wild ponies run loose across the beautiful Dartmoor National Park in Devon. All of these hardy ponies, which are free-roaming on Dartmoor, are owned and protected by Dartmoor Commoners. It is illegal for visitors to feed the ponies although it is a common sight to see ponies being fed snacks through an open car window.

New Ford Mustang NEW FORD MUSTANG - A LEGEND REDEFINED...
From the forward leaning ‘sharkbite’ grille and sculpted bonnet at the front, to the unique tri-bar tail lamps, bold Mustang or GT badge and twin exhausts at the rear; the new Mustang creates a powerful presence.
The car’s muscular yet sensual body shape is accentuated by design features that improve aerodynamics and down-force, maximising performance and efficiency.
Iconic, powerful and dynamic: this is the next generation, new Mustang. Performance, refinement and efficiency personified, the New Ford Mustang’s cutting-edge design and state-of-the-art technologies unite to redefine a legend.
Choose the unmistakeable silhouette of a Fastback, or the streamlined profile of a Convertible then select your level of power: 2.3-litre EcoBoost or 5.0-litre V8!
Introducing the New Ford Mustang Fastback... Embodying the spirit of Mustang in
an ultra-modern form, the Fastback’s long bonnet flows downwards to reduce drag, helping the car to cut through the air with ease. Front splitters enhance down force, enabling you to enjoy the new Mustang’s outstanding performance. Distinctive headlamp and rear light designs, along with other signature features, leave you in no doubt as to the car’s identity. With a range of the latest technologies, all designed to heighten your experience at the wheel.
The new Mustang Convertible: made for the open road... Described by Ford Chief Designer Joel Piaskowski as a “beautiful horizontal bullet”, the new Mustang Convertible is an expression of pure driving freedom. Perfectly proportioned from every angle, a flowing beltline wraps around the cabin opening to define it. An entirely new folding mechanism enables the roof to fold away in seconds, deep into the body to maintain the car’s streamline appearance and

aerodynamics. A subtle ‘kick-up’ on the boot helps create down force, bringing the car’s power and torque to life through its rearwheel drive. Roof up or roof down, the new Mustang is sure to leave a lasting impression, wherever you take it.
Every aspect of the new Mustang exists to enhance the car’s capabilities with driving modes to suit the conditions and your needs. Behind the wheel of a new Mustang, you’ve got complete control over the way the car drives and handles. At the flick of a switch, you can change between four different modes: Normal, Sport Plus, Track, and Snow/Wet. Each setting adjusts throttle response, gearshift points (on automatic transmission models), steering effort and stability control calibration. By tuning the car’s set-up to the specific demands of a situation, you can drive with confidence in them all. Enjoy the ride with a new sub frame at its foundation, the new Mustang’s stiffened body structure helps to reduce roll in corners. A
carefully tuned double ball-joint front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension builds on this to deliver precision wheel control, sensitive steering feedback and outstanding ride comfort. An epic sound system... The optional Shaker Pro Audio System features a DAB+ Radio and single-CD/MP3 player. Twelve speakers, including an eight-inch subwoofer mounted in the boot, combine to provide crystal-clear stereo sound (optional extra cost) but the most impressive sound is the sound of a five litre V8! A muscular 5.0-litre V8 engine option delivers even more power: 416 PS with 530 Nm of torque. Power delivery is seamless through the gears and up to a top speed of 155mph. With a 0-62mph time of just 4.8 seconds. At the same time, you can enjoy the distinctive throaty growl that’s unique to this potent engine.
The latest hands-free technology... Ford SYNC 2 with Voice Control and Touchscreen takes infotainment systems a step further with the addition of an 8” coloured

touchscreen. This high-resolution display gives intuitive control of several key functions including phone, audio, climate control and optional navigation via voice or touch.
The new Mustang has it all, effortless maneuvering and cruising, extra control during hill starts, confidence in even the most challenging conditions and balanced performance, which ensures power is delivered with maximum efficiency.

Six Holiday Hazards to avoid... We all love the Summer, with sunshine, seaside and holidays to enjoy! Here are some of the most common hazards that crop up during the holiday season. Avoid these problems and you will hopefully have a healthy, happy Summer!
No 1
Sunburn
Always wear sunscreen. Avoid the sun’s strongest rays during the middle of the day. Wear clothes that protect your arms and legs, and a hat that shields your face, ears, and neck. Reapply sunscreen every 3 hours, or more often if you get sweaty or swim. (There is no such thing as waterproof sunscreen.) Remember, even a tan is sun damage.
Ocean Dangers
No 2
Heat Stroke
It’s hot, not just uncomfortable - It can make you feel sick. Take special care with children and the elderly, because their bodies don’t cool as well. Wear loose clothes and stay hydrated. Symptoms of heat-related illness may include cramps, nausea, and pale moist skin. Go to a cooler place, drink fluids, and cover up!
No 4
Rip currents can pull even strong swimmers out to sea. Shore breaks happen when waves break directly onto the beach, and they can cause spinal cord injuries in surfers. Choose a beach with a lifeguard, who can tell you about water conditions.
No 6
Put your foot in it!
One minute you’re strolling barefoot. The next, you’re in agony. Puncture wounds happen more often in summer, when bare feet meet nails, glass, toothpicks, and seashells etc... the biggest problem is infection. Heat, swelling, and drainage are signs that need quick medical attention. You may also need to update your tetanus shot.
No 3
No 5
Pool Risks
Teach kids to swim, always watch them closely at the pool, and keep pools fenced. Don’t mix drinking with fun in and around the water as alcohol affects your balance and judgment.
Don’t let your shoes flop…
It’s too hot for other shoes - that’s for sure. But if you can bend your flip-flop in half, it’s too flimsy to support your foot. Flip-flops are fine for the beach or by the pool, where they can stomp out athlete’s foot. But don’t run, walk long distances, or play sports in them.

NEW HOME FEATURE
Soak up stunning countryside living with a new home in Shropshire!
Home-hunters searching for a new property in a picturesque location can discover everything they’ve been looking for in the attractive towns of Broseley and Shifnal. Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is building high-quality new homes at Haycop Rise in Broseley and Burlington Fields in Shifnal – with both developments boasting beautiful surroundings on the edge of the Shropshire countryside and just a short distance from a wide range of local amenities.
There’s a wonderful selection of three and four-bedroom properties currently available to reserve at Haycop Rise, while two, three, four and five-bedroom houses are now on sale at Burlington Fields – so there’s something for buyers in a variety of circumstances. What’s more, the Help to Buy scheme enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to access a Government loan for up to 20% of their new home’s full price – so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%. This means the three-bedroom ‘Flatford’, priced from £184,995 at Burlington Fields, can be secured with a £138,746 mortgage and a deposit of just £9,250!
Prospective purchasers can experience a tantalising glimpse of the tranquil lifestyle they could be enjoying by visiting the magnificent four-bedroom ‘Bradenham’ and ‘Heydon’ showhomes at Haycop Rise, plus the newly-opened four-bedroom ‘Shelford’ and threebedroom ‘Gosford’ showhomes at Burlington Fields! Anne Wallace, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Our gorgeous showhomes have been beautifully styled by our professional interior designers and give buyers a real insight into the spacious layout and thoughtful design of typical properties at Haycop Rise and Burlington Fields. “For those who aren’t already in the know, Shifnal is a fabulous location to call home – it has a real sense of history without being stuck in the past, and a great selection of modern facilities nearby including excellent schools – so we’re expecting demand to continue to grow further. “What’s more, buyers don’t need to worry about unforeseen repairs or time-consuming DIY jobs like with older properties – they can just move straight in and enjoy living there!” The handsome ‘Shelford’ features a large open-plan kitchen/dining room with double doors leading to the private rear garden, plus a spacious living room with a bay window, a study and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway. Upstairs, the landing leads to a luxurious en-suite master bedroom, three further well-appointed bedrooms and a family bathroom. Properties of this design also benefit from a garage and driveway
parking for two cars outside and are currently priced from £314,995.
There’s a superb range of helpful homebuyer incentives available to make purchasing a new Taylor Wimpey home in Shropshire even easier, including Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Easymover. Full details are available from the Sales Executive. Haycop Rise is bordered by picturesque open countryside and mature trees, with a locally-managed nature reserve featuring meadow, woodland and heath right on the doorstep. Broseley’s picture postcard High Street is just a short walk away, where’s there’s a range of good local facilities and an eclectic mix of independent places to eat – including popular family-run restaurant Clays of Broseley and award-winning The King and Thai – or enjoy idyllic views of the River Severn at the historic Woodbridge Inn.
Meanwhile, Burlington Fields is just a short walk from Shifnal’s charming central Conservation Area around a grand main street, and the town’s good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat, as well as sports facilities and schools for children of all ages.
Both developments are well located for access to the M54 for links to the wider motorway network, while Telford, Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton are within easy reach.
To stand a chance of securing their perfect property in Shropshire, home-hunters can visit the Sales Centre: Haycop Rise Dark Lane, Broseley, TF12 5LH Three and four-bedroom homes from £184,995 Open Thursday to Monday, 11am to 5pm, 01952 459116
