Regional Flood protection ---Engineering strategies • Elevated Ground floor slab.
• Stormwater & Pumping system. • Domestic water tank.
• Strengthened security fence construction, flood control and toughen to penetration. • Build a ladder up to the entrance for the small flood flood effects. • House retaining, retaining wall built on property line.
Engineering strategies 1: Elevate Ground floor slab
• Building Held up with four columns, ground floor empty for flood to pass through,it can also prevent snakes and other hazardous. • Raises the house’s flood prevention capability level • Floor column height 7’(2.06m), Meets the 100-year flood inundation frequency 2m height. • Increase the size of the column:12X18 Changed to 24X30(inch)
Engineering strategies2: Building site Catch Basin 、ditch • Building Catch Basin 、ditch. • Set up a Pump motor.
Building site Catch Basin 、ditch
Engineering strategies 3: Domestic water tank • Domestic water tank. • Disaster recovery water. Disaster water tank
Engineering strategies 4: Strengthen the wall structure • Material changes to the concrete wall. • Strengthen of the foundation wall.
Engineering strategies 5: Entrance Bench • Small flood disaster prevention measurements.
• Prevent sediment intrusion.
Height 54cm three steps
Regional Flood protection ---- Nonengineering strategy • Set up a Flood Response Device 。 • Set up a Flood Warning Alarm Systems。 • Understanding the century flood exceeding 2 meters height at large.
• Rain does not drown 、 Rain can recover 、 Rainstorm is escapable.
Non-engineering strategy 1: Survival/Fleeing equipment • Survival kit、Fleeing 、 Assistence Equipments etc...。 • Pump motor etc….。 Fleeing equipment storage room
Non-engineering strategy 2ďźš Flood Warning Alarm Systems
Non-engineering strategy 3 Mentally Prepared to the Flood • Understanding the century flood exceeding 2 meters height at
large, complete flood prevention is not up to its value, and it will created a huge oppressive, instead a mentally preparation
towards the century flood would be a good idea.

Technical Aspect
• Sococo: Screen sharing function sometimes crashes. Typing better than speaking. (Typing relatively clear and favorable record) • Email: Are bobble email? Delay in responding. Few people responded.
Communicational Aspect • Sococo:
PPT presentation is clear. • Few people involved in the discussion.
Meeting time is too long occasionally. Meeting hour is difficult to integrate. Language problems. • Email: Only somebody responds to the Email. Reply time delay
