Adeptia Connect: An innovative iPAAS Application

Healthcare Exchange & Insurance Portal Design

Data Visualization & Decision making application

A business connectivity application that is about to change the way system connectivity is managed for on premise and cloud application. Prady led the ideation, UX design and helped with Marketing Strategy.

Compex is a Legal Services firm that heavily relies on their public website for lead generation, and uses web based applications for managing claims and communicating with their Customers. Prady led the whole digital trasnformation.

A Federal Agency (VA) required a better visualization to its data to help make decisions. Prady helped VAâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; vendor to implement the first phase of the Dashboard and create a very compelling concept for next phase of work.

Online Identity & Website Redesign for a Think Tank

Digital Transformation of Legal Services Firm

WorldBank is a case of bringing change led by design. There were many individuals, outside firms participated in this change, but Prady was the longest serving expert who carried out vision and supervising a mature UX processes.

Goldwater Institute is a Think Tank and needed a new identity to communicate and attract younger generation. Prady led UX Design, provide IA & specification for the new Content Management System (CMS)

Compex is a Legal Services firm that heavily relies on the web for leads, and uses web based applications for managing claims and communicating with their Customers. Prady led the trasnformation for Compex complete online presence.

Social Media Startup - New Product Design & Branding Networks Ignite was a well funcded Startup idea for Social Contact Management Application. They lauched the applications for top 10 business schools. Unfortunately they could not survive the competition and were bought out by LinkedIn.

An iPAAS application for Business Users

A new self-service iPAAS product that is aimed to make the enterprise data connectivity simple and easy for business users. It engages business users with their Trading Partners in an easy and social-media kind experience

Business connectivity & data integration products are catering to their old patrons -- IT organizations and Technology Professional. Despite the demand from business to gain access to their business connectivity, there is no player that is making their product simple as a social and shopping experience. This product is targeted to Business Users without any help from IT. It also provides a superior experience to its users by allowing all the Trading Partners, Enterprise Application Connectors, and Cloud Applications to be discovered at a single platform.

Prady: Selected Work

[Name Withheld] is an iPAAS (Integration Platform As A Service) application that facilitates business connectivity as easily as LinkedIn does to professionals. To make the whole processes simple and intuitive this design creates a collaborative & self service oriented environment for companies to create their Adapters (connectors) and invite their partners to establish connectivity. This platform makes the whole approach of building connectors, discovering trading partners, and building new connectivity extremely simple and very engaging.

Our design follows the most modern design approach to create an appealing visual environment. It focuses on tasks, data and those fewer functions that users need the most. We unravel even the most complicated functionality in a stepwise manner to make the most difficult tasks extremely easy and intuitive for nontechnical users.

A good user experience design must constantly engage users to the product. To make it happen our design makes the whole mundane process simple and appealing. On top it uses the subtle nudging & messaging to make users stay connected with the application. Providing users with the usage, status and analytics on their connections is key part of our design.

Displaying objects such as Connections, Connectors or the Trading Partners is made simple with the use of tiles. Wherever possible, we avoid using the boring tables and unnecessary description.

The overall user experience makes the most complex tasks of creating new connections, enabling connectors or discovering partners very simple and engaging. We utilize intelligent graphical interfaces with WYSIWYG approach towards complex functions such as visualizing data & schema and mapping source and target layouts.

Deliverable The User Experience design involved working with leadership, technologists and outside vendors to deliver the design. They have captured some of the biggest providers and health exchanges as their customers with their unique exchange connectivity offering. hCentive offers a suite of products that can provide full scale capability to offer Health Insurance products and to establish private market place. This design excersice involved understand userâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s shopping experience, gathering requirements and feedback from clients, delivering the design and working with technology team for the development.

hCentive Product Suite includes -• Exchange connectivity • Private Exchange Exchange (Single & Multi-carrier) • Various Portals for Employers & Employee Benefit Administration These suites of product helps Health Insurance Payors build their private exchange, connect with other exchanges and serve their various customer segments. The goal of UX was to improve the overall design and information architecture of the whole product suite. The redesign effort involved multiple teams, customer engagemnts, and multi-desciplinary UX team which was led under Prady’s creative leadership.

Our design uses the most modern visual design to create an appealing visual environment. It focuses on tasks, data and those fewer functions that users need the most. We unravel even the most complicated functionality in a stepwise manner to make the most difficult tasks extremely easy and intuitive.

A good user experience design must also subconsciously make the users addicted to the product. To make it happen our design makes the whole mundane process simple and appealing. On top of that it uses the subtle nudging to make people want to stay with the application.

Analytics is becoming an integral part of every leading business organization. The proliferation of data bring opportunity to learn about business performance as it never possible before. But where technology is enabling capturing of data easy and fast, it is also making it challenging to consume information that is most essential for business decisions. This project involves one such challenge faced by a Federal Agency. Their problem is being amplified by data, indicators and dashboard that convolutes the insights and makes the decision making difficult. This project demonstrated how with good design led thinking data problem can be solved by bringing the essential information first, and giving users tools to collaborate and make decisions.

The key part of this application is to take the business data and present it elegantly for users to find the areas of concern. It presets the data with most graphical means with teh use of charts, maps and typographical means. This visualization makes the whole application much more emmersive. It surfaces the key insights gradually, without overwhelming the audience. As users navigate around the space, application lets them dive deeper in their area of interest. This application is conceived on some of the best visualization capability utilizing HTML5, and D3 (JavaScript Libraries). Our design uses the most modern visual design to create an appealing visual environment. It focuses on tasks, data and those fewer functions that users need the most. We unravel even the most complicated insights in a stepwise manner to make the most difficult issues extremely easy for decision making. In order to make the elegant user experience, we had to model underlying data. This activity involved looking at the data from customers point of view about the questions they might ask. This inquiry leads into transforming data in bits and peices that can synthesize the answers. This approach extracts the key perfomance indicators and organizes them in order to draw the relationship. Data Modelling is key now for User Interface Design, but is also essential for making predictions and helping users make bsuiness decisions.

This application takes the raw data and presents it in the most elegant and minimilistic manner. It is highly immersive and influences the end users to play with the data in order to extract insights.

When designing for data it is most important to understand to understand the structure of data in terms of key pointers as well as their relationships with the larger performance indicators. A digital transformation that requires solution which combines business needs, technology, and User Experience — Combining knowledge comprising of — Document, Projects, Data, News, Social, Countries and Topics related information Integrating Multiple systems comprising of — Document Management, Project Transactions, Data Indicators, Content Management Systems and Asset Libraries Unifying Content Model referencing from WorldBank’s Enterprise Taxonomy and modeling an effective structure for new web inside Adobe CQ. This was a perfect case for an Information Architecture.

WorldBank is the largest International Development Organization in the world. Its goal is to fund the development initiatives and advice developing countries. Bank plays it’s role by providing loans to the developing countries and sharing the great knowledge it holds as an institution. It’s activity involves overseeing the development work, performing research, gathering development data and communicating effectively across its partners and stakeholders. It needed a shift in its strategy from a Banking organization into a institution that can help the world with it huge knowledge base.

Around 2007 the Bank was criticized for amassing knowledge and hoarding it from rest if the world. This was the impetus for change by making their knowledge easily accessible digitally by rest of the world. Goldwater is a prestigious Political Think Tank located in Phoenix, Arizona. They have a long history of providing thought leadership on the issues relating to individual freedom and constitutional rights.

ENGAGEMENT

Goldwater has been serving its loyal customers for many decades. It is unique and clearly differentiated from many comparable organizations in a manner that they not only bring public policy research but also takes on litigations to defend citizens. They defend states and local governments from the federal policies. And they do all this without charging money from the citizens or taking sponsorships from the businesses. Goldwater is a donor-based organization that has several very prominent and loyal donators who strongly believe in their mission.

This required participating with client to understand their needs, performing user and industry research and clearly articulating the concept for the new design which was later flushed out in several iterations with close consultation with Goldwater & Celetity Teams.

Very first phase of research was dedicated to understand the Character & Personality of the new web. This involved interviews with Goldwaterâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Management.

It is very important to identity the key audience segments at the beginging of the project. The initial phase was also dedicated to understanding each segment of users and their User Experience needs.

Competitive Research

Very important part of the reaerch was to benchmark the new design with the help of comparable & competitive examples in the industry. This provided very good foundation for developing concept that matched the business goals.

The oucome of this activity was to analyze each of the examples carefully and picking up unique ideas that matches the future design for Goldwater.

Competitive sets were choosen as set of organization in the same legue as Goldwater as well as those from outside the leage that menifests the similat business mission.

Concept Design The result of the research was fed into developing concepts that were developed as low fidelity wireframes as well as visual design comps for customers feedback.Prady led the design with wireframing and this was further developed with visual design by Celerity.

Content model is the foundaton for Content Management System implementation. It also fascillitate a good modular design to begin.

It relies on Technology to connect and communicate with its customers. Being unique in its industry, Compex needed to leverage the emerging technologies to upgrade its technology infrastructure that includes, corporate website, Customer Order Management, Claims Portal and application to help Record Summarization. For Compex, User Experience was the leading part of this transformation and they required a partner who can guide them through the entire journey -- from strategy to execution. They needed someone who can advice Management, and well as coach and train their technology staff to make the transformation successful.

Transformation of Compex started with the Business Applications which includes Customer Order Management, Claims Portal & Record Summarization Toolsets.

Customer Portals involved claims dashboards, status updates, messaging and orienting end users to different workflows. Our design helped consolidate various webpages into a dynamic (AJAX) application design which was easy to use and much more efficient.

Customer Orders come via web or by FAX. Compex wanted to improve its Order Entry to convince its users to fill the order by its website. Our design produced the most usable and appealing application to provide efficiency and branded experience to the end user.

Customer Service

Setup Customer accounts and authenticate Contacts. Work closely with Customers to provide assistance throughout the order life cycle, from entering orders through verifying received records are accurate. CS teams spread across California (SAC, Fresno, LA, SD) backup all local offices ensuring client concerns get addressed immediately

Facility control have established ORDER CONTROLS relationships with Providers and experience to deal with &necessary EXPEDITING Providers, civil codes, issues related to cost/time/slow providers.

Contact provider to confirm validity of record subject. Fax Authorization/ Subpoena, confirm receipt. Verify with Provider if records exist, get breakdown, discuss ETA, fees, set appointment to copy /obtain documents Coordinate with Customer Service for fees/X-ray breakdown approval (if over Customer limit), to renegotiate due date is Provider turn around time does not meet due date.

At this point, customers securely view/download records via their personalized account. Records are hosted online for at least a year, extended upon request Bill order based on customer pricing and invoicing frequency.

On behalf of customer, liaison between Provider and individuals/groups within Compex to ensure efficient, accurate processing and timely deliver of records. CSRs have worked in all phases of order lifecycle and possess through knowledge and experience to ensure quality, timeliness and overall customer satisfaction.

Notify customer records available to view/download from Online repository. (If setup for Auto-FTP see FTP workflow). Records also hand delivered by COMPEX employee.

Handle special requests from Customers, follow-up on escalated/Rush/Critical orders. Act as conduits for Adjusters/Attorneys and be directly responsible for the strategic planning and constant monitoring of customers respective orders and ensure each request is handled appropriately. This deliverable includes Product design document which is based on modular information architectural principles that breaks down the whole products in terms of flows, structure, pages and components in order to provide more elegent design & requirement specifications.

The objective of this deliverable was to provide visual design of Compex Corporate Site as well as Enterprise Products to enable a branded experience all across. This excecise included illustration, inteface design, typography and iconography.

Our engagement also include providing the Frontend Code to the enginering team for integration. We provided HTML, CSS and JavaScript and supported all frontend issues during integration.

Networks Ignite - A Social CRM Application

Social CRM tool that helped users curate their professional contacts and build an active networking with their networks.

Networks Ignite was a San Francisco based, VC funded startup which built a social CRM tools for young entrepreneurs and MBA students. It is attracted beta testing with top 20 business schools but could not survive the competition. Some of their features has now become part of LinkedIn. Pradyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s role involved creating an overall vision the product, Infomation Architecture, branding & User Experience design. Druing this process he contactantly adviced the founders on all aspects of design & marketing strategy.
