This design research investigated the relationship between human, pattern of nature, and architecture. To use combination of architecture and nature as a platform to Celebrate the beauty of nature by architecture, follow and react with natural elements’ patterns in day-to-day life to improve user experience. Aim to retrofit an existing space by using the philosophical approach to transform into a creative and collaborative place for students and local communities.

The existing condition and urban textures are fundamental to the design proposal, to use digital simulation and surrounding contexts research to positioning the function of the proposed building. Projecting the philosophy question of human existent (Da-sein) as a tool to conduct a primary design method, the design logic constructed with 4 elements: the human behavior from / on ground, the enviroment impact from the sky, the interaction between mankinds, the culture and spirital objects created by experience. rhe design outcome will present with series first person experience renderings based on realistic data (time of the year) and sun acces angle, CLT and tranditional concrete construction detail.

This design proposal focus on the human centred design by using digital simulation as feedback loop to contribute the as built design outcome, aim to encourge and priorities design logic and design method during the design process.

Streetscore is measured using a simple counter called Street Hits, which evaluates how many people use a certain street segment in the given trips. This can be an indicator of how vibrant a street is within the network.

CONICAL INTERSECT, 1975, PARIS

You see that light enters places it else couldn’t. You Angles and depths are often perceived where they need to are hidden. Spaces are available to maneuver through that were previously unreachable…

DESIGN VISION

THE LIGHT

CREATIVITY AND INSPIRING

Priority the design with natural sunlight access . Design focus from the user experience “the feeling of light and the sense of light” of internal space to the build form and external appearance.

The dynamic and flow within the building should be inspiring creativity and help people to form their idea “outside the box”. The space allow for informal discussion co-exist with immersive work space

AUTHORITY, LOCAL COMMUNITY AND UNIVERSITY

WE ALL HAVE “THE FREEDOM FROM WANT“

Just like musicians playing with different instruments. Using the building as a stage to get all different parties engaging with different knowledge and backgrounds, contribute a diversity social environment.

Ensure the accessibility to different user groups and provide everyone the freedom from want. A sustainable building can encourage sustainable lifestyle and strong the local community.

AMONG THE MORTALS BEFORE THE DIVINITIES

Connecting people in a 3 dimentional perspective. Can walking in a plate also walking in a section.

A genius loci will protect our place and the people inside, with concrete and steel, or I should say architecture.

THE PRECINCT OF HEART D.

THE HEART OF PLACE

Project Oneness | Testing Ground - The campus Heart 32

To work in architecture you are so much involved with society, with politics, with bureaucrats. It’s a very complicated process to do large projects. You start to see the society, how it functions, how it works. Then you have a lot of criticism about how it works.
