THE FIRST TRACK. SERFAUS. FISS. LADIS. Decorate the mountain with your “first track” before anyone else has the chance! All you have to do is get up early. For at 7.30 am the first cable cars in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis start to whirr their way up to a snowy paradise. The number of participants is limited to 30 early risers. Your reward: An unforgettable experience on a velvety blanket of snow. The “First Track” takes place every Wednesday from December 12, 2012 until April 10, 2013. In addition to the guided tour, the price includes an exclusive breakfast buffet on the mountain which will be served at about 9.30 am in the Sonnenburg Family Restaurant in Fiss or in the Ski Lounge in Serfaus. The cable car manager or the head of the ski school will lead the “First Track” tour. This way you get the latest Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis news straight from the horse’s mouth! In order that “First Track” participants don’t end up “seeing red” so early in the morning, you should be prepared for a moderately difficult red piste. The early bird catches the worm! Or in other words, he or she gets to enjoy a very special experience in Serfaus. You set out very early on the Masner Express, up to the peak of the 2,770 metre high Pezid. Here you will find yourself enchanted by views across the Tyrolean peaks against the backdrop of the rising sun. A truly magical spectacle. Despite all of the magic, your stomach will probably start to grumble at some point. It is then time to take the Masner Express to the Masner Alpine Ski Hut where a sumptuous breakfast awaits you. Full of energy you can head straight out onto the piste or take the Masner Express back to Lazid and the gondola down to the valley.
As the sporty skiing day draws to a close another special experience awaits you: Sunset at the Masner! As the setting sun casts a warm, red glow over the mountain tops and the light slowly starts to fade, you will already be sipping your aperitif at the Panoramic Bar. With this impressive spectacle in the background, you can slip on some cosy slippers and enjoy the range of specialities and tasty treats that appear before you. Guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience – or simply après ski at its very best. Shuttle service for non-skiers is available on request.

If you are seeking culinary delights at a whole new level, you can now find them in a unique location especially for fans of gourmet food: The Crystal Cube. Close to the “Z1” viewing platform at 2,600 m you will find a larger-than-life inclined cube structure. The exterior is made from mirrored glass, meaning that no-one can peek in from the outside and lending it an extra-terrestrial feel. But as soon as you step inside the cube, your perspective changes dramatically. Thanks to a façade made entirely from glass, you have fantastic 360-degree views of the winter mountain panorama. Furthermore the inclined position of the cube creates the impression that you are perched on the face of the mountain.
The Zirbenhütte Restaurant invites you to embark on an exciting journey through a world of superior culinary delights at 2,100 m above sea level. Allow between three and four hours to enjoy a truly fantastic five-star experience. The restaurant is easily accessible by taking either the Schönjochbahn or Schöngampbahn, or simply skiing straight to the door! When you arrive, you take a seat at a specially reserved table, breathe in the delightful scent of pine wood and then comes the best part – it’s time to set out on your culinary voyage of discovery! Select your favourite ingredients from a choice of 25 and the Zirbenhütte team then puts together a “Culinary experience 2100” menu for you. If you hate making decisions then you can also opt for the “mystery menu” and let us do the choosing.

Put on your flying jacket. Strap yourself in. On your marks, get set, go!
Not for the faint hearted! The Skyswing is the number one attraction on the Möseralm in Fiss: An arm lifts the giant swing 20 metres into the air and this alone is enough to create butterflies in your stomach. You barely have time to catch your breath in the lofty heights before you are freefalling down again. 4G gravity creates moments of weightlessness and sends adrenalin shooting through your veins. There are six spaces on the Skyswing and the breathtaking panoramic view of the mountain world is free of charge.
It starts with a buzz of excitement, a real adrenalin rush. Then suddenly everything is going at top speed. The Fisser Flieger is a flying machine which resembles a hang-glider. It carries four passengers, accelerates very quickly and then races across the Möseralm at 80 km/h, 47 metres above the ground. This is a free-flying feeling not to be missed! Many, many years ago a sorcerer visited the village of Ladis and decided to thank the villagers for their warm welcome by sprinkling seeds which subsequently brought peace and prosperity. Because of the beauty the sorcerer had bestowed upon the village, it started to attract more and more people. This angered the giant-like inhabitant of the forest, known as the Woden and eventually resulted in a battle between the sorcerer and the Woden. This mystical show is guaranteed to fascinate and delight. Free entry.

On December 20 and 25, 2012, January 1, 2013 and every Thursday from January 10, 2013 until April 11, 2013, 6.00 pm until 10.00 pm on the Möseralm in Fiss.
With the Masner Express you can make your way up to the stunning winter surroundings of the Masner ski area in total comfort and without needing to strap on your skis or snowboard. All 17 passengers are seated in the direction of travel, which means you have an even better view across the fantastic winter landscape from seats which are more comfortable than ever before.
Fun and frolics for everyone… The fun-filled tobogganing evening that takes place on the well-lit Möseralm downhill run has long since become a tradition. For young and old alike, there is something to keep everyone entertained. At the Möseralm Mountain Restaurant you will first enjoy an “amuse-gueule” aperitif which is followed by a tasty meat fondue served with savoury sauces, salads, baked potatoes, fries and fresh bread and rolls. To round things off there is a sweet dessert. Experience this culinary delight in a cosy atmosphere, accompanied by piano music.

Those of you who have always been fascinated by the way Snowcats dance across the slopes in what is both a powerful, yet elegant manner can now reserve their front row seat in the 9-tonne piste preparation machine with its 490 hp engine. Everyday at 4.00 pm a maximum of two persons can hop aboard the “Bully-Rider” at the Komperdell midway station in Serfaus and a maximum of five persons at 4.30 pm at the Möseralm in Fiss. You can then experience first hand how the slopes are perfectly prepared. The ride lasts approximately two hours.
What actually happens behind the scenes at the cable car stations and how do the cable cars actually work? This winter in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region you can learn these secrets and many more. A tour around the piste preparation machine workshop will give you a small taste of just how much time and careful handwork is required to keep everything running smoothly. After visiting the pumping station and a look at snow-making technology, everyone then enjoys coffee and cake together so there is still plenty of time for you to pose any more burning questions you might have.
