I am Brook Evans real last name is Bingham born February 22nd 1988 in St. Louis MO. I was a pew baby my parents Earl and Sherry Bingham made me and my older sister Candice Bingham go to church almost everyday I didn’t like it at all but I thank God they did. It has made me into the man I am today but my journey has most definitely had its ups and downs. In Brittany Woods Middle School I was the class clown and didn’t want to try out for any sports because I was afraid that I wasn’t good enough. Didn’t take school seriously so instead of graduating with my class I had to go to summer school. Freshman year in University City High School I was still a class clown and still not playing any sports so guess what I had to go to summer school again. There was no way I was missing my high school graduation so that was a wake up call I had to get my act together. My parents talked some sense into me and I got my act together. Sophomore year I started working out, played JV baseball, got a job working at Six Flags, got myself a girlfriend and didn’t have to go to summer school. I played baseball and was on the water polo and swim team in high school and graduated with my class in 2006. The lady I took to prom is my wife now that’s a whole different story that woman was crazy but I wouldn’t change a thing. I started training in Kung Fu for a year then in Muay Thai which I fell in love with. My teacher is Henry Rodriguez who I’m still close with entered me in a tournament and I won, that was my last tournament but I still train. I started clubbing with my little crew my friends Daryl and DJ and that’s when I discovered I had a sexy look I gave women they couldn’t resist, that’s when people was telling me I should model or act. Please don’t bring your girl to the club cause I was going to take her and hoping that you would do

something about it. It was only by my Lord and Savior Jesus I didn’t get killed. Tried to get into modeling and acting but nobody wanted me. Got married to my prom date Whitney Bingham when I was 22 years old moved to Georgia a year later to get away from all the crime had 2 beautiful daughters and gave my life back to Jesus. I met a barber who invited me to his church and surprisingly when I got there he was the pastor of the church. Michael McClelland preached an amazing soul touching sermon that brought me to the altar changed my life. He made me an armor bearer then ordained me as deacon at All Nations Christian Church. I was working at Delta Airlines got fired then started working at Kia Motors Manufacturing.

I Said i was going to give modeling another try and I met Jame Almonte a very experienced photographer who had a lot of connects gave me some lessons on how to model and network. Put me in a few fashion shows and introduce me to Westhaven Management who I signed with for a year but we still have a connection. I am a Detention Officer now and still hustling as a independent fitness model. Don’t know where this road is taking me I’ll just leave it in the Lord’s hands but better days are coming.

(BPT) - Chefs Laurent Manrique, Roland Passot and Gerald Hirigoyen hold the most envied title of their profession: Maître Cuisinier de France or Master Chef of France. Chefs are chosen to join one of the world’s most prestigious culinary associations through an exhaustive six-month review process that dates back to 1951. For the three Bay Area residents and San Francisco restaurateurs, being named a Master Chef of France is “a lifetime achievement, significant career milestone and distinct honor” all in one. This year, they are also honored to play host to the organization’s annual Global Conference in San Francisco. They gathered in advance to discuss what’s inspiring them at the moment and how local ingredients shape their dishes. The common food item on their short lists? Pistachios, with which they are very familiar, having seen the many pistachio orchards that line the landscape throughout central and northern California. “One of our duties as a Master Chef is to participate actively to promote products of ‘top quality,’” said Hirigoyen, owner of Piperade. “Pistachios grown here in California, not far from San Francisco, are superior in color and taste. I love to use pistachios because not only are they a great thing visually, they are healthy, too. They’re buttery in flavor, but the lowest in fat, actually. They can go in toppings, fillings and soups.” (See recipe below.) The green nut’s versatility appeals to the proprietor of popular Café del la Presse, Manrique, as well. “When I came to California, I discovered the greatness of cooking with pistachios. There are so many things you can do, from savory dishes to sweet. The inspiration is endless. Put them on salads and in pates. Even when you cook pistachios, they keep that wonderful texture and crunch.” At La Folie on Russian Hill, Chef Passot’s cuisine blends French tradition with contemporary culinary creativity, and features seasonal, fresh, organic and sustainably harvested fare that is locally sourced whenever possible. This includes pistachios. “French cuisine doesn’t have to be rich to be delicious. I use pistachios because of their natural, healthy fats and oils. Plus they have great flavor and give you energy, just eating them out of hand with an aperitif.” All three attest to the power of pistachios outside the kitchen and snack on the nut for energy during their outdoor pursuits — Passot sailing, Manrique hiking and Hirigoyen cycling. “Health-wise, pistachios are beautiful nuts in terms of what they contain: potassium, antioxidants and fiber. I call them the Super Nuts, and you will find them in my kitchen and in my bike pack,” said Hirigoyen. Pistachio Gazpacho with Watermelon and Cucumber By Chef Gerald Hirigoyen, Piperade, San Francisco Yield: 4 servings Ingredients 2 cups Pistachios, shelled 1 medium Cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced in 1/2-inch cubes 1 cup Celery stalk, diced 1½ cups Pain de mie (or other soft white bread), chopped 2 small Garlic cloves, degermed and finely chopped 4 cups Cold water Juice of One lemon 2 teaspoons Kosher salt 1 cup watermelon, 1/4” cubes 1 cup Croutons 4 sprigs Fresh tarragon 1/8 teaspoon Ground white pepper Extra virgin olive oil Instructions In a large bowl, combine the pistachios, most of the diced cucumber (reserving a small amount for garnish), celery, pain de mie, garlic and water. Working in two separate batches, pour half of the ingredients into a blender and puree on high speed until contents are smooth throughout, about 2 minutes, and then transfer to a large bowl. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Strain all of the liquid through a fine-mesh sieve into a glass bowl or airtight container, gently pushing all of the liquid through with a spatula or back of a ladle. Discard the solid ingredients. Season the soup with salt; refrigerate until well chilled, at least 2 hours or overnight. To serve, divide the soup into 4 shallow bowls and garnish evenly with the reserved cucumber and diced watermelon. Scatter croutons and a sprig of tarragon on top of each bowl. Season with ground white pepper to taste and drizzle small dots of extra virgin olive oil over the top. Serve immediately.Ingredients
2 Chiquita bananas 2 cups coconut water 2 cups mango juice 3 sprigs fresh mint 2 limes
ICONIQUE MAGAZINE I’m Shalandice Miller owner of Shaland Designs LLC. Born
and raised in Pompano Beach Florida move to Atlanta in 2008 as a nursing assistant/jewelry designer with my husband and 5 children. I started in the fashion industry in 2017 and had my first fashion show September of 2017 with me being the only designer, and no idea of what I was doing but God direct it (sold-out) show. I enjoy putting on fashion shows and this particular fashion show I incorporated different charities to come set up so people can learn more and donate for the Cause. The different charities I chose for this event was very important to me. They all had a specific meaning to me. For starters AIDS of Atlanta walks; I had a twin sister that passed away from having AIDS, also I invited a Cancer Association which symbolizes my mom that’s a two-time breast cancer survivor. As well as a couple of models that were dealing with lupus too. We also had sex trafficking agency, 3 Queen’s feed of Atlanta. Furthermore we also had some first-time models that’s dealing with self-esteem, lack of faith, and no motivation. That’s where I love to step in to help with. Because once upon of time that was me, afraid to stepping out, afraid to show who I am, what I can do,so I enjoy helping people to get over that obstacle of fear. God has given me some very creative talents that I believe that I can share, and help others it’s not just about the craft that I do, but if I can help one to get closer to God and love themselves that they can be great. We all have WINGS how are you going to wing it. All we need is faith the size of a mustard seed to build that Empire. It was an honor to have our host Dakota Shari from SWOB Show & Love & Hips TV Show and Nikki Nicole McClain ATL Full Figure Curvy Mode l as our motivation speaker of the evening. I am beyond ecstatic!

JADE TH OMAS SON I am Jade Thomasson 6’2” tall aspiring model. I was raised in Germany and had my first photoshoot right before I moved back to the States. I knew back then that Modeling is what I want to do for a living, unfortunately life did not let me and I had to make a living working a 9-5 job. I’m located right outside of Atlanta in Carrollton, Ga. I started going to audition in malls hoping to get discovered, but that did not work for me either. Everywhere I went people kept asking me if I am a Model and deep down inside of me I knew I am going to be. Still working a 9-5 job I was determined that I will be a model and tried to go to a few Agencies around the metro Atlanta area and had a few photoshoots to build my portfolio, still not making it big, but I wasn’t going to give up because Modeling is what I love and feel like it is my calling. I ran into a Hairdresser in Carrollton, that connected me to a few photographers that I had my first professional shoots with, Jason Ivany and Jadore Magazine was two of them, my pictures was never published, but I felt like I was on the right way to where I want to be. I started talking to models and people in the business where I finally had my break thru, thanks to one of my model friends, she helped me get my first big gig on the Bonner Brothers Hairshow in 2015 with Kim Kimble and it was aired on WeTv in her show LAHair. The same Lady that was hiring for Kims show, emailed me a few months later asking if I wanted to be in a music video and I agreed and was on the set for Davidoff an African Rapper. After that I started walking for the Small Boutique Fashion Week in Atlanta for numerous Designers 3 years in a row. Still having to work my 9-5 job here in Carrollton, I tried to model any chance I can get. I got the offer in 2017 to walk in Designer Clothes for Tracys Fabulous Fashion Finds a Stylist in Douglasville and that’s when I knew I love Runway as well. When it comes to the business I’m really open to all kinds of modeling, due to my working situation I had to take a little break and couldn’t wait to get back to it. 2019 I audition for Models of Atlanta which was aired on Peachtree TV and they called me back I walked for the Designer Tishas Boutique from Texas and met someone that suggested me to try out for the Bonner Brothers Hairshow again in August, which I did and I made it in the Hair Battle of Terrence Davidson King of Hair. In between the taping of Models of Atlanta and the Bonner Brothers Hairshow I seen a post on Instagram by Shalanda Designs, that she was looking for models for a good cause in her dining in denim show. I’m all about spreading awareness and raising money for good causes and audition for it. I made the show and won this Photoshoot with Dr. Von Mcdonald for selling the most tickets and are very greatful that he came out to the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta and took these great pictures of me. My next show will be for raising awareness for the sickle cell disease on September the 8th in Atlanta and after that I have a few more fashionshows in the Atlanta area. I’m still trying to find the right Agency that will get me all the way to the top, my big dream is to walk for Victoria Secret in 2020. So far I love every little aspect of the life in the fashion industry and not going to give up on my dreams. I really want to thank Ms Shalanda for making this possible and a big thank you to ICONIQUE MAGAZINE for this opportunity. 48

I grew up where the women in my family modeled. My mother was a beautiful model and I always admired her style of fashion and desired to be a model one day. I put my passion on hold until I met a designer named “Sylvia Robinson “ I went to a show she gave one day and my passion was revived. I wanted to model, Sylvia encouraged me to continue my passion and I stayed in touch. I was invited to be in a photo shoot with Sylvia Robinson. That’s when I met Von Donald.

How to Save Money on Your Electric Bill Easy How to Do It It used to be that electric companies were regulated by the state utility commission. And the rates they charged on your electric bill were fixed. But recently some state governments have deregulated electric companies. With deregulation, many companies can sell electricity in the same area, and can set their own prices. This change introduces competition between electric companies. Increasing competition has been successful in reduce electric rates and lowers your utility bills. In these states with deregulated utility providers, consumers and business owners can switch to a low-cost electric supplier and save money on their monthly electric bill. Buying cheap electricity means that you can reduce your electric bill by as much as 20%. Business customers can save even more. Your Electric Bill Your electric bill shows separate charges for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. In the past, one company provided all 3 parts of your electricity service. Now with deregulation, many companies will compete for the business of electric generation. They want to be your supplier of electricity. Transmission and distribution covers the actual delivery of electricity over poles and wires to your home or place of business. These services are provided by your local wire company and have NOT been deregulated. Your usual electric company will continue to provide transmission and distribution, prepare your electric bill, and respond to emergencies and power outages just as before. And the charges for transmission and distribution that appear on your electric bill are still regulated by the state Public Utilities Commission. How to Shop for Electricity You can save money on your electric bill by shopping carefully among the electric providers. These companies quote their price for electricity in cents per kilowatt hour, kWh. For example, they may offer electricity for $0.0899 per KWh. Your electric bill shows the rate you are now paying. Compare the new offer with the current price on your electric bill to decide if you will save money. Distribution charges on your electric bill will be the same, no matter which electric supplier you choose. Electric rates are quoted per kilowatt hour, kWh. Some suppliers will offer you guaranteed rate for a fixed period, or a variable rate, that can change at any time. With a guaranteed rate, you are more likely to save money on your electric bill. You should also ask about the length of the contract, if there is an early termination fee. Some companies offer incentives for new customers, like a gift card. The Public Utilities Commission in your state has an official website where you’ll find a list of the companies licensed to sell electric power in your area. To find out the electric rate they offer, you should contact your supplier. What If I Don’t Choose an Alternate Electric Provider If you don’t select an alternate electric company, your business will automatically be assigned to a one by default. The default electric provider company and the default rate for electricity is chosen by the Public Utilities Commission in your state. So it makes sense to shop for a lower electric rate and to sign up with that company. What Changes Will I Notice With a New Electric Provider
