ON THE

MOVE!

Canyon County Hot Spot Submitted by: City of Caldwell

Welcome to the city of Caldwell, “The Treasure of the Valley.” As you come into the magnificent and picturesque Treasure Valley from the west, Caldwell, the first major City and entrance to the Treasure Valley welcomes you: a community full of friendly, sincere people and the beautiful Boise River. Caldwell is the home of two magnificent golf courses, museums displaying artifacts, and a community full of history. There are many homes on the historical register, as well as sites in our downtown area, which are associated with our rich past. There are green belts and walking paths for your recreational needs as well as more than a dozen beautiful city parks that can provide you with a variety of recreational opportunities such as swimming, softball, soccer and volleyball. Many parks also have a variety of playground equipment for your children.

Caldwell is the home of the world famous and nationally ranked Caldwell Night Rodeo. It is the county seat of Canyon County and the home of the Canyon County Fair. You will find a rich history of agriculture, as Caldwell is the home of the J.R. Simplot Company. Be sure to visit the campus of The College of Idaho. The college boasts nationally renowned athletic teams in all arenas as well as recent national championships in basketball, baseball and skiing. Caldwell is the gateway to the Treasure Valley where you will find opportunities of all types including professional baseball, basketball, hockey teams and only minutes away from water recreational opportunities such as Roaring Springs and Lake Lowell. As you can see, we can offer a wonderful opportunity for you, your family, your business and your colleagues.

We’d like to welcome the following businesses: ‰ Panda Express ‰ The Java Station ‰ Idaho State Probation and Parole ‰ Heritage Charter School We also celebrated the remodel project at West Valley Medical Center and the expansion at The College of Idaho. The city of Caldwell is continuing to develop in both business and spirit.
