LOGO DESIGN / TAG LINE Tagline: We wanted the tagline to go hand in hand with the new logo and behind the sole power of ideas. It has been said that the future of software innovation requires the ability to collaborate and share ideas with people. Brands have emotional human intelligence now. We want XIM to have this too. Therefore, we feel it is important that the tagline gives the feeling of “open� possibilities for future business connections, competitiveness, and innovation. Before any execution, the client has to come to XIM. Logo Color: XIM is based in San Francisco. The city has many foggy days so, in terms of colors, San Francisco has a few different shades of grays and cool blues and light blues. Light blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth. It is often associated with depth and stability.

PRINT: POSTERS XIM is expressing their passion between their team and clients. We want the design and words to be bold in order to raise awareness of who XIM is. We wanted the design to be different than today’s current software ads because XIM is unique and they value ideas as a crucial part of a business relationship. We used a puzzle design within the words to show connection and make the lines stand out. The design means that XIM is not conservative, but part of the concept of an innovation culture. The posters are meant to speak to XIM’s very specific target audience, to be clear to all their stakeholders.

WEB DESIGN The website is parallax for the UX. Parallax is meant to tell a story to the viewer, this is why it scrolls downward. We wanted XIM to really stand out from other software websites so, we went towards a complete new direction and illustrative visuals. Why illustrations? We’ve found that the combination of illustrated imagery and motion entices customers to stay on the website longer and explore in depth into what you have to offer. We were inspired by creative agencies that have strong business creative status and believe this direction, is where tech and software companies will eventually follow: replacing stock photography. With illustration you’re showing customers what you feel and what you believe, with all honesty. Today an audience is trained to look out for authenticity. This modern look with contrast and illustrations shows that XIM is imaginative. XIM is also a boutique and so by showing illustration, then XIM shows uniqueness and that they believe in real customization. It is very important that the website design is also responsive on a mobile device. Website copy: The website copy will have specific SEO within a business storytelling execution. It’s crafted based from the Ali Baba and the 40 thieves story in a subtle way. Keeping the logo in mind, it is like a door wrapped around by the “X” and clients open it in a metaphorical sense. As you scroll the website, the first paragraph will be in the IT section then the second paragraph, is the portfolio section. Scroll towards the bottom and you have the “about us” with the contact info and social media icons. The tabs lead to separate pages. 20

SOCIAL MEDIA XIM’s main audience described from the brief, lives more on Linkedin. CEOs and business executives are on Linkedin to look over the competition and to share content. If a CEO was to show more personality and post themselves, it would show precisely what you believe in: business relationships. By posting on a daily basis, it would enhance credibility, show that your tech savvy and forward-looking. On Linkedin, it is important not to ask anyone to share your content, but take more interest in actually having the best content possible to share. Show the humanity in your brand. Talk about your employees, show what restaurants you like in the city, what events you participated in...etc. The more you do this on a daily basis, the more human and authentic your brand will become. This will lead for people to connect with you more for future business. On the Twitter page and every other social media platform, if XIM chooses to be more socially connected, then posting posts on a daily basis should become a form of habit.
