hey say it’s Spring time. I’m not so sure about that yet. The weather has been rainy then cold followed by more rain. But if you’re looking for the real first sign of Spring just check out our events calender. Everyone is getting into high gear for the month of May. Lots of events, Spring Open Houses at the Dealerships. Don’t forget this May 20th through 22nd we will be at The Atlantic City Convention Center along with our sponsors... Ballys, ShowBoat, Rider Insurance, Atlantic County Harley-Davidson®, Hard Rock Cafe, WZXL, and Yuengling Beer to proudly present Atlantic City Bike Week. Bike Week actually runs May 19th to the 22nd and for this events’ centerpiece we have leased the Atlantic City Convention Center filled with vendors selling everything from stock to custom motorcycles, bandannas and T-shirts to leather jackets... Just about anything and everything for you and your motorcycle under one roof. We’re starting out the event on Thursday night with a welcome party at the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlantic City. We have also lined up national acts like The Razorbacks who will be rocking the convention center all day on Friday and to close the show Friday night we have the hilarious adult comedian Bag Lady Sue. During the day Saturday, local favorite the Who Dat Band will be playing and our headliner for this event -- Jimmy Van Zant -- will close out the night. On Sunday, local Rock N’ Roll legend Billy Hector takes the stage. Friday and Saturday nights you’re invited to join us at the after parties at both ShowBoat and Ballys Casinos who are also giving away a 2011 Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. To book your room for the event go to www. acbikweek.com. Admission to the Atlantic City Convention Center is only $10, $8 with the $2 coupons available at any motorcycle dealership or bike shop in the Tri-Sate area. $1 from every person coming through the door will go directly to St. Judes Children’s Hospital to help children with Cancer. Hope to see you all there! Till next time...

IN THE BEGINNING...
As I travel this country behind the wheel of the freightliner doing motorcycle events of all sizes, I am constantly and consistently asked one question: ‘HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA FOR STRIP CLUB CHOPPERS?’ Well here is the real story... I started in the motorcycle industry in the 90’s as a commisioned salesman for a California motorcycle dealer, I quickly became GM then I worked for two bike manufacturers and a custom builder/frame manufacturer. My duties at these positions ranged from floor sweeper to road dog to marketing to writing manuals to bike building. In other words, Jack of all trades, master of none. I always had lots of marketing, sales and product ideas, some of which were great while others failed miserably. I always knew I wanted to take a chance, get out on my own and, over the years, I knew if I could combine sex and motorcycles I was pretty sure it would be well received in the motorcycle culture. I came up with lots of names but finally settled on STRIP CLUB CHOPPERS and after lots of market research at numerous adult establishments, I trademarked the name and secured the domain. At that point I had no clue what to do, coincidently I was offered a job in California working for a parts manufacturer so I sold my house, two Corvettes and one of my bikes, and headed west. When I got there, I quickly found out there was no job, so I switched to plan B starting SCC. I started designing parts and a few shirts, no one wanted my parts, everyone wanted my swag. I was very fortunate that all those years working for others in the industry allowed me to develop lots of contacts and make lots of mistakes on someone else’s dime. When I started in 2004, the plan was never to build bikes due to the sheer number of guys building great scooters. Unfortunatly, now I attend shows where I have the only customs. WOW times have changed but I learned one thing... Sex sells, always has, always will and there ain’t no warranty on T-shirts. To check out all the swag, visit www.stripclubchoppers.com. Be sure to stop by the Roadhouse this month at the Virginia Beach Bike Classic April 28th-May 1st, Rally on the River, New Braunfels, Texas May 5th-8th, Texas State HOG Rally, Beaumont, Texas May 12th-15th, Atlantic City Bike Week, Atlantic City, New Jersey May 20th-23rd and Two Rivers Bike Rally, Eden, North Carolina May 27th-30th.

NORTHEAST RIDERS FALL BALL October 10th, 2010 . Philadelphia, PA Story, Ridin’ and Pics by Lutz
Even though Mother Nature would soon be gettin’ ugly and taking the warm ridin’ weather from us, there was still time to checkout a few more parties before the battery tenders came out and... What can you say about a good old fashioned biker party? Let alone topping it off in the City of Brotherly Love! I say... ”Lets @#$%in’ go!” The Northeast Riders M/C are the kind of guys that can accomplish just such a party. It was a nice ride over the bridge to Philly to the Ukrainian Citizens Club grounds where the gig is held. All kinds of clubs and friends and family look foward to this one and everyone was there. The Northeast Riders throw this one annually and call it “The Fall Ball” with another killer party in the Spring called “The Hawg Wild.“ Lots of motorcycles (of course!), hot chicks smashin’ jap bikes with sledgehammers, bike games, “refreshments,” food, and live music by a rockin’ band named “Lecomp”. Vendors to get your shoppin’ jones satisfied and for the show stopper Brother Bebops infamous wet t-shirt contest (guaranteed to keep em to the end!!) Its a shame that the cold weather comin’ in soon puts a damper on the rides for a few months but that only gives you time to think about what rides are comin in the Spring... I’m already thinkin’!
