Hello everyone welcome to the June issue of FASTLANE BIKER New York/New Jersey. We’re getting a lot of great riding weather so far this year. As I type this article, outside the sound of motorcycles fill the air. This months feature bike is from Creative Performance in Walll Township New Jersey. It’s the first time we’ve ever featured a customed Victory and I don’t think it’s going to be the last. There are a lot of real parts and accessories out for these bikes these days and you’re seeing more and more of them on the road. We’re happy to give this one a feature and hope to have more of them come our way. Please all of you remember with the Summer holidays upon us there’s a lot people rushing around on the roads, so please be careful. Even though it’s nice out. People aren’t as aware of motorcycles as they should be, so till next time ride safe!

story ridin’ and pics by Lutz
Finally a good day for a putt and to open up the ridin’ season, especially since winter does’nt wanna leave, and it is spring already?!! Comin’ down the parkway you could see many agreed it was time to hop on the bike and go for a ride! Wildwood Fall Rally is probably New Jersey’s largest motorcycle event but with all that Wildwood has to offer. Why limit it to once a year? Although not the largest attendance from time to time, the spring rally still pulls a dedicated many who enjoy the ride down to check out vendors ,restraunts/bars offering food ,drink, and live entertainment. Yes the Spring Rally is less populated but well worth the ride for many. So, take the scoot of the battery tender and enjoy the ridin’ before many will complain about it being too hot and6 come down and check it out! Fast Lane Biker NEW JERSEY/New York

ASK THE ATTORNEY BY: LEE D. GABER, ESQUIRE 1-888-CYCLE-LAW • LeeGaber@cycleattorney.com • www.cycleattorney.com Concussion? Hire a Motorcycle Accident Lawyer
concussion, most do not understand the range of potential long-term effects, which can include continued difficulty focusing, clinical depression, dementia, and early onset Alzheimer’s. The treatment for a concussion includes bed rest, pain medication and fluids. A patient with a concussion should also obtain follow-up care to be monitored for the longterm effects of a head injury.
A concussion is more than just a bump on the head A head injury sustained in a motorcycle accident is often much more serious than it appears at first. Because many of the symptoms are ambiguous, or do not present immediately, it is not uncommon for victims to sustain a fairly serious concussion without realizing it – especially if they were wearing a helmet. As a result some sufferers do not even seek medical treatment, much less the services of a qualified motorcycle accident lawyer. As a Pennsylvania personal injury attorney who is also an enthusiastic rider, it is more than just my job to help you fight for justice regarding the medical bills, lost wages and other expenses to which you are entitled – it is my passion.
Establishing the cause and severity of your head injury Many concussion symptoms seem either ambiguous as to their cause, or only present much later, and many victims seem fine at first. So it is imperative that you seek the services of an experienced motorcycle accident lawyer as soon as is feasible in order to establish causality. Some steps qualified attorney may take to determine the cause and severity of your symptoms include: • Before and after interviews with friends and family members of the victim to demonstrate the effects of the injury • Expert medical testimony
Motorcycle personal injury claim lawyers will help you fight for concussion compensation Make no mistake about it, a concussion is more than just a bump on the head; it is a brain injury, and as such can have serious impacts on your life, your family, your finances, and your career.
Prevention of concussions and head injuries It will come as no surprise that the single most effective strategy for preventing a catastrophic head injury on your bike is to wear a helmet. While they are not 100% effective at preventing concussion, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that wearing a helmet reduces your risk of head injury by almost 70%. As always, if upon reading this material you have any questions regarding this topic or any others, please feel free to contact me at LeeGaber@cycleattorney.com or 1-888-CYCLE-LAW (1-888-292-5352).
Some of the signs and symptoms of concussion include: • Confusion and difficulty concentrating • Amnesia and memory problems • Headache and dizziness • Nausea or vomiting • Slurred speech • Fatigue • Ringing in the ears (may lead to chronic tinnitus) • Light or noise sensitivity • Problems sleeping • Behavioral issues, such as irritability and depression
