nce again we are hit with the wedding season… and we love it!!! It seems everyone you know is getting married now; somewhere, somehow, to someone you know …OR you might even be the bride-to-be ! Everywhere you look there is an invitation to a wedding or engagement popping up in your face, your friends are asking you what you’ll wear, you are out of dresses, you have a zillion things to get, you have to prepare a bachelorette… Anyway it’s quite a hectic time of the year for every girl, but a pleasurable one by all means.
As usual we try, the best we can, to help you out in situations like these. We have worked hard to come up with the best ideas in everything you could possible think of, to make this day a special one. We compiled lists of contacts to make your life easier when it comes to planning the big day: wedding venue, the makeup artist, the honeymoon get-a-way… etc. Lovely wishes and blessings from Identity Team :)

HOW TO... FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO Set everyone else’s pressures aside and search within yourself on what you are ready or not ready for at this point. Are you ready for commitment? Or would you rather stay single for a while to rejuvenate and regain strength and energy? Do you need some time to get your career started before getting into anything? Figure it out. HAVE YOUR OWN PLAN Your family and friends love you, they probably have some vision of your future and how cute your babies will be, and at the end of the day they really mean no harm, they just want to see you happy. But don’t surrender to everyone else’s plans for you, their idea of happiness is not necessarily what would make you happy. After figuring out what you want from life come up with a plan that would make YOU happy. DON’T GIVE IN TO THE PRESSURE Day in and day out you will be pressured. From random maids wishing you marriage for no apparent reason, acquaintances asking if there is “anything” they don’t know about, and family members ever so often wishing to see you “happily” married. Ignore all pressures, focus on your goals. Don’t get all tensed up that your birthday is coming up, that you will be one year older, and that you are still single. COMMUNICATE YOUR THOUGHTS Find the source of the pressure. Is it your parents? Friends? Grandparents? Random strangers? Identify the source of your pressure and deal with it. Communicate your feelings and needs, and try to get them to understand where you are coming from, who knows, it might make life a little easier.
HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PRESSURE OF GETTING MARRIED From a very young age girls are taught to look forward to meeting their prince charming, being a gorgeous bride in a perfect fairytale wedding, and finally living happily ever after. While still in collage girls already start freaking out that they are still single, fearing of growing old and alone. Families and societies claim to be innocent and open minded, while every day girls start stressing more, and from a very young age they already feel like spinsters. While families and societies in general are to blame, they are hard to change, so it seems to be the only option to just find a way to cope with the pressure.
STAY CONFIDENT You don’t need another half to make you whole, you are already worthy the way you are. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone, you just need to be you. Listen to “Single” by Natasha Beddingfield every now and then to renew your confidence. REMIND YOURSELF THAT THERE IS NO RACE TO WIN Did your friend just get hitched? Did a younger relative just get engaged? Great! Good for them! Wish them happiness and blessings, then move on with your own life. There is no race here, nothing to win, and definitely nothing to prove to anyone. Slow down, take it easy, and enjoy the ride. PONDER If you ever agree to start dating, take your time to reach a decision, and make sure you gave it enough thought. There is no harm in dating, take it slow, and be sure you are doing what YOU want and what pleases YOU.

LOVE ADVICE
MARRYING A
(Secretly)
DIVORCED MAN
I am currently engaged to a man who I’m really in love with. We met just a year ago and are currently planning our wedding. There is one thing though, he was married before and has two children. I don’t mind that at all but the problem is that I didn’t tell my parents till now! They believe that this will be his first marriage. I can’t bring myself to tell them the truth as I’m really afraid of how they will react and might even call off the wedding!! Also if they find out somehow, they will hate me forever. I have no idea how to deal with this, please help me!
Dear Bride, This is indeed a very difficult situation! You managed to keep a huge secret in the closet for a year but how much longer do you think this secret will stay in the closet? Eventually, your family will know! They will be way angrier at you then than they will be today! They will also blame your guy and there will be a lot of unpleasantness in the air for everyone. This is a very wrong start for your marriage and a very bad position for you and for your future husband. Your worst nightmare now is a lot of steam and a fear that they might call off the wedding but if they found out later on they might never forgive the two of you! This will always be a grudge no matter how you tried
to explain it. But look at the bright side! They have known this guy for a year! They trust him enough to marry you off! They like him one way or the other! He has credit! He proved that he is worthy enough of their respect and approval and this is why you guys need to have “the talk” with your parents now! It is not a good idea to talk to them alone; take him with you! Let them see his face and hear the truth in his voice as he explains how his past marriage should not affect your future with him. Give them the opportunity to confront him with all their fears and allow him to explain how he plans to manage those issues. You two need to agree on a story to tell when you both get accused of lying and deceit, and you two need to be very patient and rational no matter how your parents reacted. 18 IDENTITY MAY 2014
Most probably, your parents will ask you to postpone your wedding until they get to know your future husband a little bit more. They might ask to speak to or meet his ex-wife and they will certainly have a lot of questions regarding his kids and how he plans to sustain both homes financially. They will be worried that you will be deprived of having kids because he already has his own. They will have a lot of questions about why he got divorced and what are the financial arrangements between him and his ex. Your parents will investigate his story and do a lot of background research on him. All of this will place much tension on your relationship but it is way better than a bomb-of-asecret in the closet.

With the wedding season coming up and the fitness trend booming worldwide, couples should start finding this motivation and push-through spirit in each other. Instead of the usual ‘I got married and gained weight, it should be ‘I got married and got fitter, healthier and better’
While some people suffer from “I couldn’t stop myself from eating it” you wont. Your home options are all valid healthy options, for you, your man and an investment in your child’s future.
Let’s look at this as a new blank page, a new fresh beginning to your future. With that in mind, it should only be healthier (specially if another family member may join in the future) habits are made, and they say a habit takes around 21 days to stick.
It is true, couples that workout together, stay together. Having such a positive lifestyle with your partner is a long term investment in your future.
Start your new home with only healthy options, ditch the traditional “I cant stand up and leave the dining room” foods and go for the healthy options that will leave you energetic.
NOTE: it is never too late, if you have been married for 40 years, you can start today. Go throw out everything that is unhealthy in your kitchen and start today!
This doesn’t mean sacrificing taste or any dish, you can make Molokheya, fatta, mahshy, soups, salads, rice, all kinds of meats, potato and so on. You just have to tweak the recipe to fit your new lifestyle.

SIGNS HE IS GOING TO PROPOSE
One of the most important moments in a girl’s life is when the love of her life plans a grand gesture to express his love and ask her hand in marriage. WEDDING TRADITIONS
What’s in & What’s out! OUT: The Egyptian zaffa is definitely out! People are sick of just standing there clapping their hands, watching the bride and groom dance on a noisy song, getting pushed by those weird moustached guys playing drums.
OUT: Belly dancers!! People are sick of wasting an hour watching a woman move instead of dancing and enjoying the night! IN: A band is a cool and new idea for weddings now since the music industry is growing in Egypt and we have fresh musicians starting their careers every day.
IN: Acoustic zaffa is the new trend this season; a guitar player, a vocalist, and the couple walking in on an acoustic song.
OUT: The couple walking by the buffet so that people would start eating. ???!!!
OUT: Bridesmaids dresses are out! It has always been a hassle to choose a colour and a fabric that suits all types of body shapes, ages, and styles.
IN: The buffet is open from the start and people could eat whenever they feel like eating!
IN: Bridesmaids accessories are a common choice now. It’s easier, and satisfies all your girls.

BRIDAL GAMES
SINGLE-AT-A-WEDDING SURVIVAL GUIDE Weddings can become a dreadful experience for singles, especially if it is a family wedding. Whether a guy or a girl, you are surrounded by people who are high off the wedding rush and are so excited that they want another one – with you in it! You suddenly feel awkward, pressured and overwhelmed. Here are a few situations and how you can get out of them! THE AMBUSH: Usually happens right after you arrive at the wedding, you are suddenly ambushed by some woman who you barely recognize introducing you to her son/daughter. GET OUT OF IT: Smile politely then start talking about how you haven’t been feeling well lately and doctors can’t seem to know what is wrong with you and that you just hope it is not contagious. Throw in a rough cough and it’s a winner! YOU’RE ALL GROWN UP: You just hit your twenties and feel like you own the world! Only to find someone comment on how you are getting old and should get married real quick or “you will miss the train” ESCAPE: Give an epic, endless and preferably loud speech on independence and feminism. Don’t stop under any circumstances and be as aggressive as possible to prove your point of view! They will not only be shocked but will learn never to bring it up again.
THE ETERNAL QUESTION: You know it…”Won’t we hear good news soon?!” – it’s like the only way they can be happy for you is when you get married and invite them for a lavish buffet that will shut their mouths. REACT: Start crying uncontrollably and talk about how you don’t know what is wrong with you and how you expected the 20 plastic surgeries you had would help you find someone. If you want to take it further, after you calm down, tell them you can recommend the plastic surgeon. PITY PARTY: several people suffer from this, the bride or groom only best friend, the divorced and the 30-something never been married. From the looks, the shoulder pats and the endless set ups – it is all a nightmare. BURN THEM: turn the tables around and start pointing out the flaws of every marriage and the headache that they bring. After you see the dark cloud of responsibility over their head, start talking about how much fun your last trip was or how you’ve been to every hot-spot around town. Add salt to the wound by asking them to join you sometime and then go “oh, but I guess you can’t…” 27 IDENTITY MAY 2014

THIS SEASON’S MOST FAMOUS
Wedding Themes
As the summer and wedding season are both around the corner, we asked professional wedding planners to fill us in on the latest wedding trends that brides are asking for these days. Sara Fahmy & Donia El-Naggar, were nice enough to share some of their events details with us. BARN INSPIRED WEDDING: Sun flowers are cheerful and bright; we picked the flower and based the whole idea around it, starting by the bouquet which wasn’t typical to those tiny details as having the bride and groom’s sofa made from burlap fabrics! Also adding umbrellas helped a lot preventing sun and added a beautiful touch to the overall mood. Using wooden tables was the best choice to match up the theme we also added lace runners to make contrast with wooden base and to add a touch of elegance. It was a simple yet beautiful wedding. LAVISH MINT WEDDING: People are often afraid of using colours and patterns for fear of it looking garish or dating too quickly but we’re huge advocates of both at our events and think this is what can give a wedding day the right amount of flair. So we came up with this beautiful theme mint and ivory combined with gold. Adding gold chandeliers, mixed with blush and ivory flowers gave the royal look. We used mint table cloth in addition to ivory lace runners. Crystals too were an important factor to complete the mood. Another elegant wedding to recall! 30 IDENTITY MAY 2014
BLACK & BLUSH GLAMOUR We tried to put together the most lavish and rich creations mixing the bride’s dreams with our vision to create a unique wedding. The centrepieces were a mix between black chandeliers with candles, flowers and black vases with huge flower arrangements, adding black lace to all candles on each table.
All The event setting was black and that includes chairs used, napkins and even the bar! We used a blush table cloth to have the contrast needed adding a hint of elegancy with the black lace runner. The variety of design elements flowed perfectly. The blush warm lighting played an essential role to reflect our vision. We wanted guests to feel that they were surrounded by an abundance of warm and passionate textures.
DETAILED VINTAGE STYLING WITH A CONTEMPORARY TWIST! Different materials were used such as wood, burlap and lace. We mixed it in a perfect way to make this final perfect vintage look. Using materials from the natural world as well as random centrepieces that contained wooden boxes, bamboo branches, tree trunks, bird cages, bottles and jars with plenty of flowers gave the simplicity and the look needed. We added lace for the burlap fabrics we used for table cloths and table runners to transform it from a rough vintage look to an elegant one. Not missing the tiny details we had to tie the napkins with burlap and lace too! We were keen to enrich every corner in the venue with a different vintage item to make our guests feel the mood we’ve created. It’s interesting how we can use vintage elements and redesign it with flowers to decorate the whole event.

WHAT YOUR WEDDING SAYS ABOUT YOU
It’s finally the big day, the guests are arriving and the bride and groom are the stars of the night! The entire wedding ceremony has been planned for months. While some guests arrive excited and happy, most of the people tend to go to weddings with a heavy heart since there is no longer room for any surprises. More importantly, after the guests leave, what do they say about the wedding?
TYPICAL EGYPTIAN WEDDING Huge dress, long Zaffa, big entrance on a dramatic song, first dance on a sappy love song, painfully boring cross-eating cake show and finally the poorly cooked buffet. GUESTS THOUGHTS: “I better get home, I think that turkey was bad.” – “Why do all weddings look the same?!” – “Was the “Sha3by” music really necessary..?” – “So that’s what two tons of makeup looks like!” THE COOL WEDDING Simple dress, comfortable shoes, outdoors, by day, kid-friendly and ends early sparing all guests 3 cups of coffee. GUESTS THOUGHTS: “That was such a light, cozy wedding” – “Kids these days have no respect for traditions anymore” – “I should have worn something colourful, I looked like a crow” – “They look too young to get married…” THE PARTY WEDDING No sign of a wedding, epic DJ, friends make up most of the guest list, goes all night, massive amounts of alcohol and sushi. GUESTS THOUGHTS: “My ear is ringing but the music was great!” – “That was a wedding?!” - “ WHERE’S THE BATHROOM??!!”

INTIMACY
WEDDING NIGHT FEVER You’ve had the wedding you always dreamed of, danced your heels off and finally you have some (much anticipated) alone time with your husband. Instead of a big passionate throw down with a broken bed, you spent over an hour in the bathroom “getting ready” when in fact you were just freaking out! The first time is tricky; you don’t know what to expect and as a virgin it’s even scarier than you falling head first into your wedding cake. Here are some tips to help you get over your wedding night jitters
1.
You don’t actually HAVE to do it! Many couples are just too tired after all the wedding day exhaustion and prefer to sleep it off and consummate their marriage the next day or on their honey moon. Those who actually do it often say it wasn’t at all their best.
2.
Relax, breathe… It can be scary and you will have a million thoughts running through your head. Shut the world out, take a hot bath and if you feel frisky then go for it!
3.
Add your own spice If you have any worries that it might not be as good as you imagined then no need to fret. Just slip on that sexy lingerie, get in the mood and get out there and make it everything you dreamed of! He will be surprised and pleased with your passionate initiation.
4.
Performance Anxiety Women also have some anxiety that they won’t be able to please their man. It’s common and nothing to worry about. Focus on the intimacy and that you will finally be one. It will help increase your emotional connection and improve the experience.
5.
Don’t over-think it You’re about to get married! Enjoy every part of it; don’t stack up unnecessary rules or plans that will kill your mood. Let everything go and put one thing in mind, if you’re both happy then that’s all that matters!
Helpful bits: Increase the foreplay time to get your body ready for intercourse. Lubricants (Used to ease intercourse) will greatly help. Men also get nervous; don’t pressure him more by dismissing him or making him feel like you’re doing him a favour. Experiment with your body, admire it and feel comfortable in your skin before the wedding night.

8 BRIDAL BEAUTY TIPS FROM REAL-LIFE BRIDES! Who’s better to give you bridal beauty tips than those who’ve already walked down the aisle before? STASH BABY WIPES IN THE BATHROOM TO FRESHEN UP. “I was literally dripping sweat down my back I was dancing so much! I was having fun, but it’s not so elegant when someone goes to give you a hug. I used baby wipes to freshen up. They’re also great for getting out stains in a pinch without leaving a big ring like water can.” DIRTY HAIR IS THE SECRET TO A LONGLASTING UP DO. “I have super fine hair that doesn’t like to stay in an up do. I didn’t wash my hair for four days before the wedding so it was slightly greasy. This gave my hair some grip and it stayed in place all night!” DON’T STRAY TOO FAR FROM THE REAL YOU. “Experiment with different hairstyles, but then choose the one you are most comfortable with, the one that is most you. You don’t want to look back at photos of the special day and wonder “who is that?” MAKE SURE YOUR TOUCH-UP KIT HAS ALL THE RIGHT COLOURS. “I didn’t own the makeup shades my makeup artist used, so she gave me the lipstick, lip gloss and eye shadow. Not all makeup artists do this, so make sure to ask yours. You don’t want to realize later on during your wedding that you don’t have the right stuff for touch ups.” GO FOR WATERPROOF MASCARA. “I made a huge mistake at my own wedding. I wept like a baby and had black track marks in some of my pictures (before my sisters pulled me into the bathroom for some damage control). I love Lancome Hypnose Waterproof Custom Volume Mascara because it makes lashes look super-lush, and comes off easily with eye makeup remover.”
AVOID BOLD NAIL POLISH. “Your hands will be on stage for the entire day—signing the certificate, showing off your rings, shaking hands— you’ll want them looking pretty and feminine. I made a huge mistake on my wedding day by painting my nails BURGUNDY and now I cringe every time I look at my wedding pictures. My hands jump out and scream “bad trend!” in every photo. Do yourself a favour and choose a pretty pale pink or nude for your wedding day manicure.” REDUCE YOUR SODIUM INTAKE. “A few weeks before my wedding, I cut out salt from my diet. In just a few days, the eye puffiness was gone and I could see a big difference in the contours of my face.” LAYER YOUR MAKEUP FOR ULTIMATE WEARING POWER. “Alternate lipstick with pressed powder, keep face makeup in place with makeup primers, line fillers, and setting powder — these all help to ensure your makeup lasts for as long as you want it to!”

THE MOST COVETED DIAMOND TRENDS SAPPHIRE DIAMONDS: A great alternative to the usual clear diamond and screams royalty. This diamond is great for brides who are looking for a distinctive touch. Go for a sapphire main diamond or accentuate your rock with sapphires side stones.
FANCY CENTER DIAMONDS: Rings with a center piece to die for, like the emerald, cushion and princess cuts are very hot right now. Many brides choose the center diamonds for a classic and chic effect that will last forever.
YELLOW GOLD: Even though the yellow gold has lost favour after the white gold and platinum kicked in, now it’s gaining popularity. They range from hints of gold with platinum to a complete gold setting.
SIMPLE STYLE: The world’s favourite diamond ring shape is the very simple diamond and solitaire combination. Highlight your diamond with petite diamond accents for a remarkable and timeless look.

SUNNY YELLOW This sunny bouquet, golden peonies, garden roses, honeysuckle, ranunculus, and poppies is perfect for a day wedding!
SOMETHING BLUE As innocent as a white bouquet, these plump grape-hyacinth and delicate lavender florets are dressed with a mauve silk handle; a pin adorned with a lavender glass bead secures the ribbon on top.
SUMMER BOUQUET Dinner-plate dahlias, roses, zinnias, geraniums, and ornamental oregano made for a beach wedding.
WHITE WEDDING This elegant bouquet abounds with freesia, anemones, lilies of the valley, peonies, ranunculus, tulips, and verdant hosta leaves.
EASTER LILIES Easter lilies tucked one inside the other make a surprising tiered silhouette, as if you’ve invented an entirely new species of flower. Like decadent floral drapery, this cascading bouquet of white lilies, clematis, campanula, and stephanotis vines falls and flows with the same graceful lines as the train of your gown. 42 IDENTITY MAY 2014

THE ‘MUST’ IN ELOPE WEDDINGS
60 IDENTITY MAY 2014
W
eddings are a celebration of love between two people where they acknowledge the love they have for one another in front of their family and friends and ask for their blessing. What happens when the blessing isn’t given? When the partners are cornered in a situation where their only chance of a wedding is to elope. To just take off and get married on their own; no muss no fuss! There are some cases where they don’t even have a choice and an elope wedding is the best option they have. Consider a couple with unsupportive parents, another of the same-sex or the classic age gap couple.
Unfortunately, we still live in a world where old fashioned rules are the standard. The stereotypes of how marriage or love should be are the same and even though the world is trying to cope with the changes, it is still a dilemma for certain couples to get married. Of course when thinking of Egypt, it is absolutely out of the question those examples mentioned above. The idea of getting married without the blessing of the parents or that two men can get married and build a life together is just too much to bear for our traditional mindset. This is why many couples choose to elope; after all, their love is what they need for a blessed marriage. But I just can’t help but wonder, what is the big deal?!
idea of their life without one another is just out of the question. They dream of their wedding day, the house they will live in, the children they would want to have and growing old together with as much love for one another as they did when they first met. Such a beautiful story, don’t you think? Now let’s add a different element to this story; how about if those couple had a huge age gap, let’s say a 40 year old man and a 23 year old woman or the other way around. Let’s even throw in some big money and think of couples with different race, religion, social background, or even (dare I say it) of the same-sex. Now I am pretty sure that you don’t feel the same way about the story as you felt at the beginning. Adding all those out of norm aspects to the story completely shut you down. Is it because this is how you really feel or because it’s against what you have been taught as a child on what constitutes a “normal” couple? What Is Normal Anyway? Isn’t Love A Normal Feeling? Why Should It Be Restricted To Some While Banned And Frowned Upon For Others? After all, it’s all the same love. Elope weddings are not for everyone though. While some couples choose to do it as a spontaneous act of love or even to save a huge budget, for others it can be the only way they can get married. I think that there are a big number of such weddings in Egypt; one can only imagine the amount of couples who must resort to this option as a way to spend their life together. It is not easy and brings with it a lot of problems but if that is the only way for two people to be together then let’s toast to a life of love and happiness!
I will tell you a story about a couple and I want you to really imagine it with me. Two people met, they felt instant attraction and started dating. They went through the hardships of a relationship, the doubts, the fears and finally reached a point where they are both absolutely sure of their love for one another. They decide to build a life together because the

LSG: THE LAST SINGLE GIRL 62 IDENTITY MAY 2014
T
he dramatic title suggests a very emotional article. One that discusses how it feels being a single girl after everyone got married or caught up in a relationship. If you are an LSG then you already know how that feels… so why dwell on it?! After all, if you REALLY think about it, it is not such a big deal… Is it?! The Egyptian culture pretty much dictates how every life should be planned out. Get a degree, get married, have children and repeat. Those very few “freaks” who tend to break these rules and follow their own path of independence tend to counter a lot of problems (and unnecessary pity) from the by-the-book bunch. Girls feel this problem way more than boys do. It is not such a big deal if a boy strays from the norm and builds his own life, even if he is in his thirties! I was just recently at an engagement party of a late 30-something man and an early 30-something girl. Even though the age of the couple is generally a bit too high for an engagement, it only seemed to raise a few eyebrows about the girl and not the guy. Apparently if you are a single girl for a long time, you are considered questionable goods but a steadily single, accomplished guy in his thirties is an eligible bachelor. Such double standards, don’t you think?! The common ideas on a LSG are divided into stereotypical thoughts; complicated, not over her ex, man-eater or a prostitute. Even those who are closest to that developed creature called LSG seem to think that she is taking a wrong path of loneliness and misery. I believe that the most “sincere” advice girls give to one another is to focus on finding a life partner. They seem to think that this is the best advice they could ever bestow upon their poor LSG friend. I bet every single girl out there reading this right now would want to say “B**tch PUH-LEASE!”
friends. Weddings are already stressful enough for pretty much everyone involved to add an unnecessary pity party to it. The funny thing is, I don’t think a true LSG really complains of her single status. A true LSG understands her status, herself and what she wants and doesn’t want. Some might think that she is just being too picky but the fact is that she has spent more time getting to know herself that she now knows what she wants and really needs. Her happiness is not based on whether she lands the man of her dreams or her wedding day. Life has much more experiences to offer and to focus only on one or two then you are setting yourself up for a major disappointment. When we view being single as an opportunity instead of a limitation, something beautiful happens; we start learning to enjoy our time. We stop focusing on the fact that we are “alone” and instead work on creating that outstanding life we always hoped for. Being single should be viewed as a time to be glorified rather than a time to be denied. If anything, for me, I think that every last single girl is the definition of a strong and independent woman. Sure there will be some lonely moments but there won’t be long depressing phone calls about how her life is meaningless, there won’t be serious envy at every wedding she attends or endless string of bad decisions when it comes to guys. She has evolved beyond being just a wife to being a woman. She aspires to a marriage that provides mutual support, love and happiness not just a marriage that fills her insecurities. Even if she doesn’t aspire to marriage, she understands that she is a woman of choice and that her life is in her own hands not those of her parents, friends or partner. For what it’s worth, this article is not to say what should or should not be. It is only to shed the light and appreciate those who take the risk of being who they want to be, realizing their dreams and living a fulfilled life because that choice is never easy to make. Just remember, even though you might be the last one standing, that doesn’t mean that you should give up. Nothing worth having ever comes that easily. You didn’t and you shouldn’t expect your partner to come easily too!
At the height of the wedding season (which apparently affects all of us more than the weather changes) girls tend to be far more emotional around single girls than usual; even more so for a last single girl in a group of

CELEBRITY MARRIAGES The world of celebrities is filled with couples getting together and breaking up; marriages lasting less than a yoghurt pack and affairs that will always be remembered. It might be the fact that they are constantly surrounded by beautiful people or that celebs have a bigger emotional capacity. Whatever it is, we have looked at some marriages that we don’t think are headed for a “forever & for always” ending.
KIM KARDASHIAN & KANYE WEST
JENNIFER ANISTON & JUSTIN THEROUX
knowing the history of both celebrities, we can’t help but feel that this marriage is not really meant to last. Sure, they have spent a fortune on a big proposal and an even bigger wedding but let’s not forget Kim’s first million-dollar wedding that ended just after a couple of months!
With Jen’s track record with men, it won’t be a big surprise if this marriage didn’t work either. Their on and off again wedding arrangements have set a lot of speculations whether this marriage will actually happen or not. Word has it that Justin loves living in New York while Jen can’t imagine living outside of Los Angeles. Who knows if they will settle this battle or head for different paths!

NAYA RIVERA & BIG SEAN
After her second failed marriage with Marc Anthony, J.Lo started a fling with her crew dancer Casper. The age gap raised a few eye brows and classified their relationship as nothing but a fun affair. Even though the couple have been married for a while now, we can’t help but wonder if J.Lo won’t get bored and need someone who is in her league.
Even though this has been labeled as one of the most anticipated weddings in 2014, we think otherwise. Big S proposed to Naya in October and she was seen a week later shopping for wedding gowns. She expressed that she believes in the motto “happy wife, happy life”, it might be a little too much for Big Sean to handle. After all, he is known for his conquers with the ladies. Let’s hope Naya doesn’t turn into a bridezilla and scare the groom away!
