he CITY TALK trash clean-up efforts over the years have continued to evolve, and the most recent project last weekend was an excellent example of resident volunteers stepping up to help make a difference. Dr. G, who is wellknown for putting together community projects, contacted Grand Terrace Council Member Bill Hussey with the idea of organizing a collaborative clean-up event. Hussey, quickly responded, “I’ll be there.” The target area was a stretch of land along So. T
he 2021 Colton High School Yearly $1,000 Scholarship presented by the Colton Woman’s Club was given to Colton High Senior Jessica Campos. Jessica will be starting classes in Nursing at San Bernardino Valley College in the fall.
New crew ready for fire season
With a future goal of helping other students through creating or scholarships, donating to charities with food, material goods or technology, Jessica is a model of what the Colton Woman’s Club is all about.
