he $90 million Santos Manuel Student Union North (SMSU North) hosted its ribbon cutting on

March 17, in front of an estimated 500 person crowd, which included university officials, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians (SMBMI) Business Committee and tribal citizens, local digni-

taries, students and staff.

“It used to pain me when I’d walk into our Student Union South building and see students sitting on the floor; today, this

n International Women's Day, March 8, Supervisor Joe Baca Jr.'s office recognized Sista's Making a Difference with the Sheroes 2022 Award. The award was accepted on behalf of the organization's cofounders, Ronnie Miller and Kecia Miller, sisters.
