“I will miss the residents and people I serve more than anybody,” Lawhead announced with his father and daughter Samantha by his side. “I didn’t live (in San Bernardino) but treated it like it was my house. I love this place, I think San Bernardino is a wonderful place and on the road. We’ve always had our political issues, but this is a great place, a great city. I would not be where I am today without the residents... I truly owe you a debt of gratitude and I will never forget it.”
