The Rialto Unified School District knows how to pump it up! There was plenty of food and lots of fun at the District's Pump-it-Up BBQ event on July 9 at Frisbie Park. Top left: Simpson Elementary student Dassai Johnson and Laura Lewis, Rialto Unified School District Transportation Supervisor, jumped in on the festive atmosphere and danced to the beat. Pyrotechnic crew conducts professional fireworks display in Long Beach By Ricardo Tomboc
O
n Saturday, July 3 a crew of skilled pyrotechnicians from the Pyro Spectaculars by Souza located in the City of Rialto went to the Port of Long Beach to load and set up a large prograde fireworks show that would be presented at the Alamitos Bay area. Supervising the pyrotechnic crew was Licensed Operator Andrew Tomboc who has been in the pyrotechnic industry since 2007.

Among the pyrotechnic crew were Andrew’s brothers, Jeremiah and Benjamin Tomboc, and his father Ricardo Tomboc (yes, the writer of the article) all from the San Bernardino area.
