IEEE UVCE

The IEEE UVCE, a student branch, under the aegis of IEEE was revived in 2001 and is a titan in its own right. Its astute commitment to the cause of furthering the dissemination of knowledge is reflected by the gamut of activities organized. Symposiums, guest lectures, the Technical Fest – IMPETUS and the National Level Paper Presentation Contest – KAGADA and intra-collegiate activities - RIPPLES are some of the events held all through the year. Testimony to the fact that we’ve been incessantly working for the student community, we’ve won several awards at the Bangalore Section of IEEE which include the “Best Student Branch Award” and “Best Student Chapter Website award”. Our counselor has won the “Best Branch counselor award” and “Volunteer Service Award”. Our members have been winning at the IEEE BRV Vardhan Paper Presentation Contest.
