International Federation of Medical Students' Associations - Iraq is a non-governmental organization formed by alumni and non-alumni medical students as part of the IFMSA worldwide. It started in 2012 and became a registered NGO in Iraq in the year 2015.

IFMSA-Iraq aims to connect the Iraqi medical, dental and pharmacy students to communicate collaborate, advocate and lead initiatives that create the change we believe in, IFMSA-Iraq carries the voice of its members and empowers them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experiences through exchanges, external representation and a variety of opportunities and projects, to carry out meaningful student’s participation role and to shape the face of healthcare and educational systems in aspects of local, national and the international levels all together.

LC vice president
1. The second representative of the LC in IFMSA-Iraq meetings and during external representation and the main one during the absence of the LC president. 2. Helps the LC president in signing contracts with potential funding partners in consultation with the VPE. 3. In charge of the financial tasks in the LC, mainly the acquisition of registration fees and reporting to the treasurer. 4. Responsible for all financial aspects of the events in coordination with the local officers and the LC president. 5. Helps the LC president in supervising the work of the LC local officers. 6. Helps the president in linking the LC local officers with the national officers in coordination with the VPI. 7. Keeps a record of the forms and paper documents of his LC. 8. Helps the local officers in conducting their projects financially, logistically, technically, and in every other aspect. 9. Assists the president in obtaining governmental approvals.

local officer on Human Rights and Peace (LORP) 1. Be responsible for the development of the Human Rights and Peace activities inside their respective LC 2. Attend the SCORP National Meetings and the LC Team meetings and have an active role in them 3. Follow with the plans of the NORP and the LC president 4. Be responsible for maintaining contact between members within their respective LCs and the SCORP national team. 5. Keep their LC members informed and updated with all the opportunities and activities held on the national level and motivate them to participate in local and national and International SCORP activities and hold activities. 6. Ensure proper handover to the incoming LORP after the term of office expires, including all the relevant manuals and databases 7. Continue to perform these tasks until their term ends and provide a full and complete handover to their successor.h. Fill the monthly report for SCORP Activities. i8. Align the local activities with the National priorities set by the NT. 9. Keep in contact with the Standing Committee National team through Filling out relevant calls for input, assessment, and evaluation forms when requested by the SCORP NT, including the event Report and LORP Performance report (monthly reports).

Local Public health Officer (LPO)
1.Conducts their respective local priorities that belong in their respective LC in coordination with their NPO and LC president and LC vice president 2.Conducts the national projects that are recognized by the NPO. Involves and supports new members in organizing events 3.Supports and promotes his SCOPH in his/her LC.Attends national meetings of his/her respective SCOPH. 4.Attends the NGA and has an active role in his/her SCOPH sessions. 5.Motivates his LC members to take part in activities and delivers the 6est possible image of the association to his peers. 7.Giving a monthly report on the work of his/her LC to the GA 8..Attending the meetings appointed by the NPO.

Local officer on medical education(LOME) 1. Develop and implement activities that complement the medical curriculum or promote a quality medical education. 2. Establish communication with the governance bodies of the medical school, directly or through the student representatives. 3. Encourage students to take an active role in their education by giving feedback to faculty and engage in opportunities to promote a quality medical education. 4. Attend national and whenever possible, international meetings, namely SCOME sessions, and workshops. 5. Maintain active communication with the National Officer. Additional tasks : â ƒ Responsible of building and strengthening a team of medical education enthusiast â ƒ Responsible for following the national strategy enhancing the relationship with the college to implement the national priorities

Local officer on Sexual& Reproductive health and rights including HIV & AIDS (LORA)
1. Be responsible for the development of the Standing Committee in their LCs through ensuring proper planning and execution of activities related to the mission, vision 2. Coordinate SC activities on the Local Level and the work according to the National priorities set by the National Team 3. Conduct any SC national tasks or activities that deemed necessary by the NORA. 4. Attend the Online Meetings for the Standing Committee National Team and Online Meetings for their LC Local Team. 5. Encourage SC members within the LC to participate in SC local, national, and international activities and opportunities.f. Keep the LC members updated on any relevant information from the SC communication channels.

local exchange officer (LEO)
1. Guides their LC members on how to fill the exchange application form and answers all their exchange-related questions. 2. Promotes the IFMSA exchange program in their LC. 3. Responsible for the necessary approvals for the intra national and international exchanges in their LC. 4. Provides any related aspects for the intranational and international exchanges like accommodation and other needs 5. Collects fees and helps their LC in applying for visas and other necessary needs 6. Attends national meetings of their respective SC. 7. Attends the NGA and has an active role in their SC sessions.

Local officer on Research Exchange (LORE) 1. Participating in national SCORE sessions and communicating with the NORE in order to maintain the research exchange program locally and thus contribute to its national success. 2. Research Exchange Projects: contacting potential tutors, explaining to them the principles of the research exchange program in order to obtain their ongoing research projects, asking for feedback from the tutors, maintaining good contact with the faculty representatives, forwarding the Project Forms to the NORE. 3. Outgoing Exchanges: promoting the research exchange program among the students of the faculty, arranging the selection procedure of the outgoing students with the NORE, assisting the outgoing students with completing the Application Form, sending the Application Forms of the outgoing students to the NORE. 4. Incoming Exchanges: arranging the practical aspects of the research exchange program for the incoming students following the exchange contract, contacting the tutor, asking them to recommend literature, articles or references, arranging accommodation, boarding, and social program, recruiting contact persons for the incoming students, sending the Card of Acceptance for the incoming students to the NORE, handing out SCORE Certificates according to, if the student has fulfilled the requirements.

Local mass media and publications support division director
1. Establish the connection between the LC and the MMPD team for publication and promotion purposes only .2. Supervise all the publication and promotion activities within the LC. 3. have access to all social media, promotion, and publication platforms within the LC. 4. Responsible for the promotional and social media representation on Facebook group of the LC in coordination with the LC President and MMPD 5. Ensure the coverage of all the activities within the LC 6. Follow the MMPD's guidance with regards to the style and design of the publication
