International Federation of Medical Students' Associations - Iraq is a non-governmental organization formed by alumni and non-alumni medical students as part of the IFMSA worldwide. It started in 2012 and became a registered NGO in Iraq in the year 2015. IFMSA-Iraq aims to connect the Iraqi medical, dental and pharmacy students to communicate collaborate, advocate and lead initiatives that create the change we believe in, IFMSA-Iraq carries the voice of its members and empowers them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experiences through exchanges, external representation and a variety of opportunities and projects, to carry out meaningful student’s participation role and to shape the face of healthcare and educational systems in aspects of local, national and the international levels all together.

Dear IFMSA-Iraq Members, IFMSA-Iraq Executive Board is thrilled to open the call for standing committees and support divisions directors’ assistants for the term 2020-2021. Assistants represent one of the most important contributors for the workflow and the development of our organization. Also this is a great chance to work in the standing committee or support division you are passionate about its focus areas. In addition to all of these, this is a great learning experience and irreplaceable journey! Last but not least, we are kindly asking all our amazing and interested members to read this document carefully in order to be totally aware about all positions and their tasks descriptions. Medical Education (SCOME) National Team Mohammed Anas NOME

Hi SCOME enthusiasts everywhere My name is Mohammed Anas , the NOME of the term 2020-2021, and here we go to continue the work of our predecessors in medical education. SCOME in the previous term did a lot of enormous work regarding the medical education systems, policies, programs, skills and also the accreditation process. So it is our duty as SCOMEDIANS to complete their work and take medical education to the next levels... Not just by myself but with everyone passionate about medical education and SCOME . General Assistant 1. Responsible for supporting and organizing projects, events, workshops and meeting whenever the NOME cannot attend due to certain circumstance. 2. Responsible of taking minutes regarding National meetings and assistants meetings. 3. Responsible of documenting and organizing SCOME drive. 4. Responsible of keeping in touch with important Medical Education events and workshops that take place in Iraq. 5. Responsible for publishing monthly national reports of the national SCOME team. 6. Any other task assigned by NOME.

Activity Assistant 1. Responsible of making sure all LOMEs work on a smooth pattern in all LCs. 2. Responsible of making monthly meetings with all LOMEs to evaluate their process. 3. Responsible of receiving reports of activities and transport it to the general assistant. 4. Responsible of strengthen of relations between LOMEs to ensure suitable environment to work in. 5. Any other task assigned by NOME.

Developmental Assistant Tasks : 1. Responsible for collaboration with CBD to deal with capacity building issues within SCOME 2. Responsible for activating of TMET network within Iraq 3. Responsible for making social media groups for TMET members and enhance the connection between them 4. Responsible for organizing schedule of possible trainings given to SCOMEdians with collaboration with CBD 5. Hello everyone, I'm Saif AlMusawi, a 3rd stage medical student from Wasit LC and I'm your NPO for this term. "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." All the goals that we achieved in the past term and the plan that we intend to achieve in this term we cannot achieve individually, but through the work and cooperation with the entire national team. Sincerity, love, and team spirit drive the work towards success, so I invite you to join and work with me in this mission. The mission of completion the successes and path of the former national team, achieve our goals at the local, national, and international levels, and spread the Orange love of public health (loph) everywhere with our dedication and devotion to our lovely standing committee. The Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH) brings together medical students from all over the world to learn, build skills, cooperate, explore and share ideas when it comes to addressing all issues related to public health, including global health issues, health policies, health promotion and education, activities.

General Assistant 1. contribute to the SCOPH national strategy and regulations. 2. make sure the local officers are committing to the plans of the project coordinators at their LCs and they do it in their specific timeline. 3. provide the NPO monthly report about the activities of the LCs. 4. make sure the project coordinators are providing the NPO a monthly report about their projects. 5. assist the project coordinators to make sure all the activities in the LCs are being enrolled. 6. ensure the standing committee releasing and projects promotion. 7. attend national meetings. 8. Work with the NPO in setting agendas and taking minutes during the National team meetings and other meetings in general.

Developmental Assistant 1. Assist in developing SCOPH national strategy and regulations. 2. Collaborate with the CBDD general assistant to deliver Capacity Building sessions for the SCOPH national team. 3. Collaborate with the CBDD general assistant to deliver CB sessions for the teams of the projects at LCs. 4. Conduct pre and post evaluation forms for the participants of the SC sessions in the break and NGA. 5. Provide a regular evaluation form for the SC national team. Attend the national team meetings.

Updating and revising current resources for SCORA working with the NORA. 5. Collaborate with the NORA and CBD team on drafting SCORA workshop proposals for National Meetings and SRTs. 6. Developing standardized criteria and evaluation tools for activities and workshops quality assessment and improvement, including follow-up methods. 7. Encourage SCORA members within the NMO to attend National and international SCORA related events. 8. Search for LCs that have not established the SC and assist them together with the NORA and LCP to establish it. as well as supporting the already active LCs and follow-up on their development. 3. Assist LORAs in the preparations of (sessions/events/national training) and issues in their LCs related to the SCORA. 4. Assist the NORA in coordinating the national campaigns and supporting the LORAs in their local campaigns, as well as follow up on any related small working group. 5. Facilitate the collaborations and joint projects between SCORA and the other Standing Committees. 6. Assist the NORA and GA to reform and regularly update the SCORA general Database (LORAs and SCORAngels). 7. Follow up with LORAs on the PSD and SCORA activity reporting forms. 8. Attend Online Meetings for the SCORA National Team, National General Assembly, and Break’s Sessions Team. 9. Any other related tasks that might be assigned by the NORA.

Information Technology Assistant 1. Contribute to the implementation of the NORA Annual Working Plan in their work. 2. Assist the NORA to organize and coordinate national Campaigns to highlight important international days related to SCORA (SCORA Calendar). 3. Follow up on the usage of the IFMSA-Iraq Corporate Identity in all of SCORA publications. 4. Contribute to the drafting of SCORA articles in IFMSA-Iraq magazine, following up with MMPSD Team on SCORA publication in IFMSA-Iraq Website and IFMSA-Iraq media outlets, as well as any related SCORA publication. 5. Take responsibility for following up on designs and publications as well as sending workshop certificates. 6. Attend Online Meetings for the SCORA National Team, National General Assembly, and Break’s Sessions Team. 7. Any other related tasks that might be assigned by the NORA.

Experience in SCORA - should have at least one year of experience in SCORA and have attended at least one IFMSA National Meeting (Break, NGA) or National SCORA workshop (eg SCORA week, House of Cards, SCORA National Online Workshop, etc.). 2. Be a hardworking team player with the ability to work transparently and take part in National Team discussions. 3. General availability throughout the term – the capability to attend SCORA NT Online Meetings and National Assemblies (Break and NGA) 4. .The motivation for the position and ability to follow and respect deadlines. 5. Experience in organizing, planning, and facilitating sessions. 6. Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Google Suite (Drive, Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).

General Assistant 1. Handling monthly reports on the national level and Evaluation of the LORPs work through their monthly reports in coordination with NORP. 2. Solving any problems among the LORPs, SCORP members, Assistants in coordination with NORP. 3. Increase visibility and promotion of SCORP Activities in IFMSAIraq to increase collaboration and exchange between LCs. 4. Coordinate team meetings in case the NORP is absent. 5. Follow up with LORPs on building their local teams with members. 6. Fulfill any tasks requested by the NORP related to their role, according to their agreement.

Developmental Assistant 1. Provide The National team with the resources and materials for Advocacy and capacity building sessions as well as helping LORPs in preparing for sessions. 2. Promote capacity building within SCORP and maintain contact with IFMSA-Iraq SCORP trainers and facilitators 3. Supervise SCORP Sessions team in NGA, break and SCORP Gatherings in coordination with NORP 4. Assist NORP in creating small working groups. 5. Receive and put inputs on new projects’ proposals and provide the LORPs with the instructions of PSDD 6. Assist NORP and the National team in the enrollment process of SCORP activities. 7. Professional Exchange (SCOPE) National Team Danny Ali NEO

Hello SCOPE family, I'm Danny Faris the National Exchange Officer for this term.Each year, more than 15.000 medical students embark on a journey to explore health care delivery and health systems in different cultural and social settings,which usually last four weeks, SCOPE aims to give all students the opportunity to learn about global health, and attains this partly by having its exchanges accredited by medical faculties across the world.

General Assistant The General Assistant for National Officer should characterized by having the same ideas, motivation and work together and closely to build up a successful team, so they can : 1. Organize the connection between the NEO and the LEOs regarding all topics 2. follow up with each LC about professional exchange program process through contacting the LEOs 3. Being In charge of regulating the outgoings exchange programs and exchange activities in the LCs who don't have a LEO and make sure to follow up the them. 4. Work together with the NORE assistant in organizing the (PDT) and (UAT)and take them to new level 5. Educate the LEOs and our outgoings about the Importance of the Handbook during their exchange. 6. Help the LEOs how to approach and getting contracts with different departments in our hospitals.

General Assistant 1. Be responsible to conduct needs assessment of LCs. 2. Be responsible for CBD national projects 3. To develop NMO management and activity management competency model for local teams. 4. To be responsible for public relations, and engagement of members with CBD. 5. To develop and supervise the guidelines of the new approaches of capacity building. 6. To continuously develop the resources center and modify it to IFMSA-Iraq needs to be adopted in the data base as a curriculum. 7. To continuously develop reporting system and impact assessment of CBD. 8. To establish and maintain the communication with the LCs. 9. To develop and supervise IFMSA-Iraq trainers pool. 10. Be responsible on the process of development of online courses.

Developmental Assistant To work with standing committees and Support Divisions for:1. Development of standing committee needs assessment. 2. Integration of Capacity Building Material into standing committee sessions as deemed appropriate. 3. In cooperation with the PSD to develop a program system implementation training in IFMSA-Iraq for the standing committee to communicate it to the local officers. 4. Development of Policy Making and Strategy Making capabilities of standing committees. 5. Input and collaboration in the development of educational activities and camps as educational activity design is what a trainer is trained to do.

To have attended at least one National or international Meeting (NGA, Break, EMR, GA). 3. To have the sufficient IT skills to use or supervise the use of the online training platform. 4. Dear applicants, Project support division is a support division that is mainly concerned with supporting the NMO activities of each Standing committee, to document and ensure the quality of each activity as well as following up on these activities. Additionally, providing educational material and sessions on the topic of activity management. What distinguish us, or sets us apart from other NMOs or local organizations is the quality of our activities, not the quantity.We have seen an amazing increase in the quality of our activities in the last few years, however, more work should be done and that's where we need your help. The project support division leaves its fingerprints on all the Standing committees work, your work will be highly impactful and it will be a great learning experience for you as it has been for me in the previous term.

General Assistant Two minds are better than one, three are better than two. All the work will be equally shared between the PSDD and PSDD assistants, some of which will include but not limited to the following : 1. Reviewing the activity proposals, comment or edit and redirect them to the national officer 2. Work on toolkits and educational materials 3. Engage with members through PSD educational facebook posts 4. Contacting local officers, developmental assistants and national officers where necessary 5. Following up on activities

General Assistant Their tasks included but not limited to: supervising general SC media work involve support media work in LCs.

Social Media Assistant Their tasks included but not limited to: promotion on IFMSA -Iraq social media accounts.

Information Technology Assistant Their tasks included but not limited to: responsible for IFMSA -Iraq website and magazine.

Criteria for positions ITA - good at computer skills , high experience at website. GA - have designing skill, good at photoshop, good at computer skills , expert at communication skills. SMA - have marketing skills, high skills at social media management.

Ibrahim Imad HRSDD

Hi, I'm Ibrahiem EmadŘŒ your Human Resources support division Director. I'm 4th stage medical student at Al-Nahrain university. I will go briefly about the HRSDD position. The work is mostly done on computer,our task is to coordinate the registration of members,upload their scores after attending IFMSA activities and encourage students to register in our NMO.In addition, we help other standing committees in developing their work. So, anyone who is motivated to complete their journey with IFMSA, especially computer and paperwork and see themselves committed and can work under pressure, do NOT miss this chance and participate in this great experience!

Human Resources Support Division (HRSD) National Team

General Assistant Their tasks included but not limited to: Assist the director in coordinating the registration process and in uploading the scores of the members and being the contact person with the other SC/SD assistants and LC presidents and vice presidents in addition help the director in monitoring the official groups.

Criteria for positions 1. good knowledge about G-suite 2. good english competency 3. At least 1 year experience with IFMSA

Hi everyone, I'm Dr. Zain Almosawy 25-year-old, Basrah Medical College graduate, I'm very passionate to share the Alumni experience with the current members as I believe to evolve we need to learn from the past, so I'm giving my whole to this support division so I can give it a vision and a purpose, As for me, I see this division is vital for the continuity of IFMSA, As without it IFMSA will be susceptible to falling apart, As the new members will fall into the same mistake the previous members did, So that means we destroyed any chance for development and evolution.

General Assistant 1. Connecting with the point of contacts in the LCs within his region 2. Arrange the database of alumni within his region 3. Follow up the regional activities of Alumni within the LCs 4. Any other task assigned by ASDD.

Criteria for positions 1. Graduated Doctor 2. Official Member of IFMSA
