“The inspiration for this season comes from the artists: Chris Riddell who illustrated Ottolina’s world so beautifully, Meredith Gaston that conjures the most wonderful water color paintings, Jónsi´s dreamy music, fairytale illustrations from Florence Helga Thibault, a French-Icelandic artist and my wonderful kids, Viktoría Þóra and Baldvin, who draw, cut and paste all day long. Ígló Kids is a world remix of colours. From British traditional clothing we have navy, burgundy & plaid fabrics and from France we have dusty shades of colors & beautiful flower fabrics. From imaginary places we also have a brown bunny, a shy dragon, happy pink and polka dots. I love designing kids wear. Every kid I meet is an inspiration. I admire their honesty, purity and their natural joy of life. I love their humour.
