Best possible certified classification: E-Chain® series E3, E The single demand for all cleanroom products is that as few particles as possible should be released into the environment. This is especially important for moving dynamic systems, for example E-Chains® and cables. A high resistance to wear results in less particles, as well as ensuring a long life time.

This is the common objective for the development of all igus®-products.

A new report of IPA, Fraunhofer Institut, proves the best possible classification ISO class 1 for a large number of igus®-products.

..ESD & ATEX... maintenance-free conductivity...ESD & AT As well as clean room suitability, there is often a requirement for ESD protection. With the E-Chain® Series "EasyChain®" made of igumid NB, a range of products are available ex stock which have the best possible ESD-compatibility Level 1 acc. to Semi E780998 certified by IPA. Also a large number of E-Chains® are available in ESD/ATEX-version on request – with PTB certifcate.

The ESD E-Chain® even has a longer life time than the standard material.

When compared with the traditional solutions using temporary conductive layers or built in static inhibitors, the igus® options offer a long lasting and maintenance free conductivity. And additional advantage is the resistance to unfavourable environmental conditions.
