Leopoldo Rosati initiated his design practice in Manhattan in the mid-80s, during the years of the Reagan economic recovery. His expertise was distinctively shaped by his professional experience designing projects in the Middle East and Asia.
Rosati was classically trained in the deeply rooted Italian education of The University of Rome-La Sapienza. Built around the foundation of the Roman School, the curriculum incorporated the history of architecture in all studies and served in developing Beaux-arts composition, structural and technical skills.
The program molded Rosati into an integral architect who covers every step with an understanding of the complex production techniques embedded in the design process. Rosati rearranges floor plans and transforms spaces, tailoring them to individual needs, while also making them fit into the flexibility, function, and the client’s style.
While working on a broad spectrum of projects, he structured an integrated design approach that fits all international standards. It would eventually become a fundamental characteristic of his work.

Rosati's designs have sensitivity and elegance, with a natural inclination for what is beautiful and what is right, just what the poet John Keats wrote:
"Beauty is truth, truth is beauty"
