HIMALAYAS - THE ABODE OF GODS
The Sanskrit name means: hima (snow) and alaya (abode), I like to call them the Abode of Gods, because where else would Gods and Devas exist if not within the highest places on the earth. parts of the Earth?
We asked the founders of TREK NATION INDIA, Anna and Rakesh Kumar WHAT IS IT LIKE?

It's a feast for the soul. Each and every visit changes you inside and out. It's like going back to the source. It’s unspeakable energy which only resides there.
I am not surprised manysadhus (hole men) stayin caves meditating, prayingand talking to God.
My husband says spending time in the Himalayas brings him Anand (joy).
The Himalayas has been the land of worshipping for thousands of years, attracting pilgrims from all over the world to its ancient temples and monasteries. Not only spiritual travelers are being lured to this divine and of snow and Gods. It is also where unforgettable experience awaits those fascinated by trekking mountaineering, adventure sports, the exotic flora and fauna, rivers and natural streams, snow- capped peaks, glaciers, and the lovely local people.
Whenever I climb the Himalayas my body, mind, and soul are at peace. Unnecessary thoughts don’t affect one's happiness. Climbing the Himalayas have taught us to accept challenges, make decisions and live life to the fullest which is an overwhelming feeling of freedom.
Visiting and spending time in the lap of the mountains is so important as it can help to find a healthy and happy way to cope with life. It's the emotions, hunger for new peaks, and ambition that can be fulfilled. You go to the mountains, you leave the city, and you are free. It is like in the song Counting Stars by OneRepublic.
"Lately I been losing sleep Dreaming about the things that we could be But baby I been, I been prayin’ hard Said no more counting dollars We’ll be counting stars Yeah, we’ll be counting stars."
