We are in the year of the round ball! Who would have believed that 2010 would be here so quickly? We have cleaned and serviced our filming equipment and our team is ready to get filming during this historic event! During the first quarter of 2010 we were privileged to share our expertise with our devoted clientele while acquainting ourselves with the ventures of new patrons.
The Royal Bafokeng: The Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace serves as a host venue for the FIFA 2010 World Cup and preparations were put in place to make history. This stadium is the only community-owned 2010 stadium in South Africa, and the first stadium officially opened for the FIFA Confederations Cup and FIFA 2010 World Cup. i-Line films was commissioned to serve the office of Kgosi with electronic media and skill as the world’s eyes are fixed on SA as a role model. Visitors from various countries poured into Phokeng to inspect the facilities and were pleasantly surprised. This also serves to develop the future stars for inclusion in international teams.

Royal Bafokeng Sport: In alignment with their developmental sport programmes, i-Line films was commissioned to produce a corporate video to help market the 5 main sporting development areas of Athletics, Soccer, Rugby, Netball and Martial Arts together with their professional teams. RBS forms a unique model for promoting and developing sporting talent at all levels in South Africa.
We also assisted the RBAdministration by providing video recordings first Kgotha Kgothe for 2010. The local communities were invited to get involved in World Cup 2010 through the mass meeting at Kgotha Kgothe and local visits at Dumela Phokeng.
SARENS SA: Sarens is the largest and most versatile heavy transport and lifting companies in the world, moving heavy cargo by land and sea. With the launch of their new DEMAG 650, the largest mobile crane in Africa we were commissioned to collect video & photographic images of some heavy lifting in Pretoria & Centurion.

DENEL: The Denel Centre of Learning Development provide artisan’s training for the aerospace and engineering industry as they provide tuition primarily for aircraft technicians to develop the individual to a level where a license from the South African Civil Aviation Authority can be issued. i-line films was called upon to produce their corporate video and collect high resolution images for their data bank.
CSIR: The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research is one of the leading scientific and technology research, development and implementation organisations in Africa. It undertakes directed research and development for socio-economic growth. This year they tasked us to take photographs of new scientific discoveries and developments for articles in their well known “ScienceScope” magazine and their intraweb.
SITA: SITA required a quantum leap to a sustainable ERP programme meant to cater for all SITA processes. The project is named “Vuselela” which means “resurrection” and is the name given to the project currently 3
underway to upgrade the current version 11 Oracle systems to the Release 12 system. When a corporate video was required to communicate this message to users and clients, SITA commissioned us through Johann Fouche Multi-Media. Following this, we assisted in editing the GOVTECH 2010 promotional video as well. We look forward to be of service in the near future.
Calabash & The Transnet Foundation: The Sharp Minds initiative of the Transnet Foundation is a special initiative aimed at improving the quality of education in the critical areas of Mathematics, Science, Information Technology, Languages and Life Skills. Calabash appointed us to edit the video recordings of the last two year’s progress and deliver a corporate video production on the success of the initiative.
GIRLS FROM OUR BLOCK called on us to facilitate on media aspects surrounding their website and at the launch of VODACOM Northern Gauteng Region’s lucky winner in the Mega millions campaign. They offer the following marketing and related services: Brand management, Marketing, Promotions and Project Management & Sampling/Awareness Campaigns.

AQS LIQUID TRANSFER required i-Line to design more logos for their new range of brands on pumps and irrigation as their venture goes from strength to strength.
Rand Building Hydraulics called on us to photograph their new range of products for the engineering sphere. The application is for their website and product brochures. Rand Building Hydraulics (Pty) Ltd is a modern company specialising in the design, supply & manufacture and installation of hydraulic equipment and systems.
Special Olympics: is an international organization that changes lives by encouraging and empowering people with intellectual disabilities, promoting acceptance for all, and fostering communities of understanding and respect worldwide. When they required professional services to cover their CEO and Director, Tim Shriver’s visit to the Royal Bafokeng Sport Campus, they called on i-Line films.

Skills development: Our two Phokeng students, Lebo and Patricia are already in their final year of skills development and are mastering the art of video production. We received an unexpected visitor when Adithya Rangaswamy (15) needed to find a production company to host him for a school project. We presented him with 3 day’s video training in production aspects of camera recording, editing and voice over when he did a short production on the basics of guitar playing.
MR SA 2010: Denver Burns from Port Elizabeth was crowned Mr South Africa 2010 on Saturday, 13 March 2010 at the Silverstar Casino and we are proud to be a sponsor. Congratulations Denver!
