HOW IT ALL STARTED? Well in the beginning it was very tough for me to make people convince of why they should take our cakes instead of the big branded companies which are already well settled in the market but once they felt the hand licking taste of our cakes they themselves preferred us in comparison to others.
Right now we are focusing on giving franchises in different states so that people get to know about the love we spread in our products. Next year we will be available in Delhi (the capital of India). We are also looking to provide jobs to young vibrant students because I believe young minds have the capability of running New Digitalised India through divergent aspects.
The idea of delivering customized designer cakes at the customer's doorstep prompted me to start my online bakery shop." Which highlighted the fact that, innovation and the love for desserts, made 'Love Bites' happen. It started with my own small town ' Burdwan ' and now it is available in Kolkata , Durgapur, Bangalore , Mumbai , Chandigarh. Well Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it. Talking of success it's just that we need to proceed with our efforts without thinking of the results. If you want to be successful, you definitely need to be thinking out of the box. There will be problems in the beginning of every start ups but one need to stick with it through the effort.
We are not different from others because I believe everyone has the potentiality of achieving something big but it's just that they need to hear their inner voice to make their dreams successful. We just did what we thought will be best for us without thinking of the later consequences and by god's grace it came out big. Well starting from a small town Burdwan and spreading it to 7 different states of India that too within 2years only need some appreciation and we deserve it to be very bold.
I started with only one baker and now we are a family of 16 bakers. In the Future we are looking to open branches in every states on the country. We are currently working on giving ' baking classes ' Â which will b certified by The Indian Academy of Art. Yes talking of standard we have always kept a strong look in these aspects. We only provide eggless cakes [ pure veg] and fresh cream cakes. So that it will be healthy for every section of the society.

Since most of the projects were received through our references, close friends and known corporate acquaintances. Projects were usually of various sizes and were as small as HR Policies Frameworks, Personal finance advisor to as big as Fund raising, Feasibility Studies & Detailed Project Reports, Business development activities. Though that time it was never about Revenue or profit making, but it was more about building expertise, developing interest, networking with clients, learning decision making abilities, etc. We never faced problems during this phase as being educated from premier colleges helped to us to get projects from reputed and established Consulting organizations and we used to provide qualitative output to the clients.

The Main motive of our venture was to bridge the gap between Technical and Management requirements of the Companies and clients and to act as single point of contact for entire project needs. Because of numerous aspects related to green field and brown field project development; clients have to reach approx 10 to 12 consultants who are experts in various fields to get their dream projects into execution and commercial operations. The USP of our venture is we would be the Single point of contact (SPOC) and the only consultant who will handle the entire project activities. This is mainly achieved through the Managing partners and Execution Team Experience into cross functional diversified projects.

Future Zen Consultants core activities revolve around four verticals namely Business Advisory & Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Project Management Consulting & Plant Operations and Turnkey Services. Though by the time we started the venture, we have already signed contract for 3 diversified projects as Project Management Consultants (PMC), but those are of long gestation periods with 2 to 3 years timeframe from Concept to Commercial operations activities. Some of the problems we started facing for new projects where about how to convert enquiries to project received through open tenders, intermediates and unknown clients. Another major problem was how to convince the overseas clients about our expertise without face to face meeting. Due to my team international experience, we receive lot of enquiries mainly from Africa, South East Asia and South America. To mitigate the problems and increase our visibility, we have strengthened the Marketing and Business Development Expertise, partnerships with reputed OEMs.

Since most of the green field projects are through First generation entrepreneurs, who have limited subject knowledge on the subjects. To showcase our expertise to their needs and to overcome these loopholes, we started preparing Project Profiles for location based conditions and based on the client background, we pitch at least 5 to 8 profiles to improve their thought process and understand the project economics. This approach is doing wonders for us as now in addition to Project Management Consulting, we are also getting short term Expert Advisory and Subject Matter Expert roles also.

Some of the projects which are handled directly under our supervision are Multi Fruit Processing Unit, Cocoa and Chocolate Processing, Pharmaceuticals Project, Aqua (Fisheries) Project, Integrated Farming projects, Natural extracts, Feed Mills, Trading of Seafood, Pulses and grains, Mining & Minerals, Automobile aftermarket products, distillery & brewery, Composite products for defence industry, etc.
For the Clients who prefer customization, we take FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering activities. The positive aspect of this element, in continuation to design and engineering we take up Plant & Machinery Fabrication reducing the total project cost by approx 20%to the clients.
As most of the entrepreneurs have also one through our route, I can say that we also had numerous trigger points across career as about when to start own venture. For us, I can tell confidently that I had 3 trigger points to become

ACQUIST Using innovative methods in direct marketing spectrum
Sanjay Guha Founder & CEO “Acquist”- A name centralized around the theme of “Acquisition” tells a lot about us and our specialization in “New Customer Acquisition” we use various innovative methods in direct marketing spectrum to achieve the client’s requirements. We have contributed and helped our clients manage their external and internal marketing and data related requirements, keeping the core focus on new customer acquisition. Having said that the journey OF starting my own startup started back in my work-ex years where multiple incidents build up over my entire corporate career and the startup I had worked for. So essentially I have always worked in the sales and marketing domain running marketing campaigns for clients in top corporate in banking, logistics and other such domains and also soliciting business for them. A Post that I joined one of the startups as one of their senior management & that sort of gave me some insights of managing the cash flow & operations.

KNOWING YOUR CLIENT During this entire journey I identified that there was a niche segment, which exists as most of the marketing agencies typically work on the creative branding and other aspects, but a lot of time they do not focus on the end ROI generation the end new client acquisition and having identified this I took a leap of faith & in December 2013 I launched “Acquist” with just some family and personal savings. Talking about our clients I’d like to give you 3 case studies which show the vividity of the clients we work with. 1) A top corporate and a large enterprise client “VODAFONE”, they you know are omnipresent everyone knows the consumer brand, everyone knows the Vodafone icon the dog, but Vodafone was present in the enterprise segment we helped them in building and running the property in targeting the small and midsized customers, this property we ran it for 3 years and we targeted more than 25-30K small medium enterprises so here we essentially created an award jointly with them called “Ready for the big league” where we helped them in targeting the companies from 5 to 500 Cr turnover in their definition where the segments were 5-50 and 50-500 and we did a huge profiling exercise and branding exercise following with a large outreach lead generation program, which helped in building the brand Vodafone as a significant brand in the enterprise segment with the SME community, so this is one very large programs we ran.
The motto of Acquist is to help our clients to acquire new customers. It is very unique and is also our USP.

2) There is another company called as “AMS inform” which is a very large and one of the oldest and background verification check companies in the country however they have let other foreign brands white label their services, so what we have done for AMS is we have very strategically helped them solicit business from the large corporates by reaching out to them one on one be it in India, Singapore, UK and other target markets. 3) We also work with a host of real estate clients just to give you an example “L&T Realty” which remains one of our top clients, for them in the micro market of Powai and Mumbai we have helped generate very high number of walk-ins, I can't share those numbers here as we have some NDA signed with them, but that again has been a very successful campaign at a fraction of the cost of a typical digital marketing budget we actually have driven ROI generated marketing and ensure that the right customers walking to the site and experience the project and of course we have seen significant conversions happening from that as well so these are 2-3 different case studies, there are more but I felt these were relevant to mention here. The motto of Acquist is to help our clients to acquire new customers (which again and again I have mentioned), I think that is very unique and is also our USP, in terms of what internally drives us I think is fairly a young team we have and we are very growth oriented both internally and externally. For external clients we try out new different things then see what strategy works and implement it also internally we have added a different business line different verticals. We are like a startup incubator where we have found 2 more startups with Acquist & I think that’s our core DNA which reflects on our work and also the work we do for our clients.

Having started in Dec 2013 we are a privately held company headquartered in Mumbai and I cannot share the finer details here I would say so far we have in totality clocked about 1.5 million dollars of revenue and in terms of the manpower we have about 40-45 resources working for us of which 25 are in house and have other people working on client sites and premises we also have a lot of Foot On Street people who are working for clients on ground per say so I’d say from a team of 3-4 we have expanded to around 45 plus from time to time we also mobilize a lot of resources as and when we require in project so if we consider them then we have hired around 200-250 people but lot of these people are contract based or people who work seasonally or cyclically. In the span of these 4 years we have been able to create our presence in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore and even internationally in Singapore and soon we are setting up an office in the UK. At this point I believe we have carved a niche for ourselves where, I think any and every company can use us we are now in a position where we are now actually selective about the people we work with, because while we are very target oriented and ROI driven we want to work with teams which typically there is a match in ours and their vision. So you know the kind of steps we take jointly yield results and results in a long term. The sales and marketing domain it is ever expanding with companies, so in a good economy anyway people go bullish and in a bad economy too they want results, sales is finally something on which they can’t curb down on so I think the opportunity lies, and like I said I have a team ready, a backing ready so we are ready to leverage any opportunity to any industry which needs us across the globe now.

For example, an accounts graduate would not necessarily understand how to use accounting software to process payroll. So, here’s what Konnect Peers Consulting did. They started identifying employment opportunities and hired the requisite talent that would fit those opportunities. While this is what any regular Human Resource Company would do, Konnect Peers Consulting went one step further. They did more research on the skillsets that each client wanted in their recruits, and then started training their candidates in those skillsets. Now he has lost almost 2 years and lots of money, but not passion for project. After burning the finger twice in the market and learned the lesson in hard way, he made the most audacious decision of learning the computer programming himself, this is the time he found other cofounders for a remarkable journey you are witnessing today. Sujeet Brahmankar, Engineer turned Entrepreneur started learning coding from a well known Expert Python programmer, Alok Thakur in Pune. Alok provided training online on Saturday and Sunday free of cost to Mohnish and Sujeet for about 6 months.

After six month this trio is outperforming many experienced coder in the market in many software coding competition such as techgig etc. “Alok did not join the organization but remain our mentor forever”, said Sujeet. Now the two co-founders formed a company called Python Brains in the year 2016, but the cofounders knowledge is limited to Python programming and they realized that only python programming will not solve the purpose, although they can now code entire web & mobile application in a week time from scratch. The duo moved to another teacher named Swapnil Warkar, a Machine Learning Expert , and invested another 8 months for learning the entire machine learning. Now it’s November 2016 , the duo decided to hire interns and train them so that they can do the desired technological job and finally this strategy worked phenomenally well in the next six months the team has grown from 2 people to 12 expert programmers. Python Brains programmer are rocking the technology market with their expertise getting acknowledged in different part of the world through competitions / hack-a-thons and successful completion of projects. By the year 2018, the company has successfully developed its Real-Time Handwriting Recognition, Speechto-Text and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology. The company has also developed its skills set in Blockchain Technology in programming language such as Node JS and Go programming and planned to develop its Ultra Low Bandwidth consumption platform for Video Streaming in coming six months, with efforts the company has developed this technology in just two months.

Something really great happened with Python Brains in march 2018, when their Handwriting Recognition / OCR(Optical Character Recognition) technology got visibility in some banks in India and soon company has contract for developing a proof-of-concept(POC) of an OCR for digitizing the banking KYC documents. The company successfully delivered this POC- Proof-of-concept in a week time and Python Brains is serving many such requirement in BFSI(Banking financial Services and Insurance) sector. As far as education project is concerned, the company developed the successful prototype of world last education technology you will ever need. This is DAO (Distributed Autonomous Organization) kind of dApp in Blockchain technology (without any Cryptocurrency), also the block-chain developed is also developed from scratch. This technology is so powerful that it can replace textbooks with rich media content and teachers with AI teaching bots. But as soon as company started to proceed this education technology by forming a company called Exacraft AI Pvt. Ltd., the founders realised that in India there are some limitations for the use of blockchain technology and also there is not enough laws to protect interest of citizen in this technology and there is no regulatory authority in place. The power source for such a capability is DLRDDeep Learning Research and Development, the in-house training system developed for training employee. From August-2018 DLRD, its training and Infrastructure, is partially available to public outside of the company. Being from the business family and serving in the corporate sector I decided to create a holistic model in two-wheeler service industry and started walking on this path where I found out my old friend and now colleague.
With a vast experience of over around 16 years in Banking\Finance and insurance industry and have worked in middle management level there came a time at the juncture of an age wherein I felt a need to start a business in the service industry because in today’s time service industry plays a huge role in Indian Economy. We both got together and developed a chain of individual workshops in and around Baroda which gave services to customers on their doorstep and would help them with breakdown support on the road this included all the other services related to two-wheelers under one roof. After creating almost around 70 entrepreneurs and more than 210 skilled employees I found out that this noble profession should be carried forward in the form of a professional start-up company and then we together founded a brand Speedforce.
I found out that there is a huge vacuum in the two-wheeler service industry as there were majorly 2 types of service providers (OEMs & LGOs). With these providers, the customer of the industry was either dissatisfied or less satisfied due to various factors like time\costing and trust factor.
Tell us about yourself, your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before this start-up?
So I started the survey amongst the local public of Baroda about the need that they actually want. With this me and one of my old friend and current colleague developed the innovative idea in two-wheeler service industry where we started giving Free Pick Up & Drop Facility, On Road Breakdown Support and all the twowheeler related services under one roof for working on this model for around five years individually and after developing a good satisfied customer base we decided to form a start-up and established a company under the name of Speedforce.
Mohan M Vaidya I am an automobile engineer. Worked with Bajaj Auto Ltd for 26 years in the service department as a service engineer and then regional manager for Maharashtra, Gujarat and MP & CG. Last 10 years in Network development. The job involves extensive traveling, service infrastructure development, training, spare parts management, customer handling, customer satisfaction, and product feedback. In Network development, dealer’s performance monitoring, Reviews, new appointments, terminations were the nature of the job.

Deepen Barai Belonging from a small town I joined telecom industry and then subsequently moved on to the insurance and network industry I have worked with different geographical peripheries of the country and have established and developed a good potential network of various genres. In my professional journey of more than 18 years and starting at a very basic level I reached onto a substantial height of management level. During this experience, I have worked with companies like Vodafone, Idea, Airtel, Bajaj Allianz and Reliance Life. My core functioning area included Recruitment of Dealers, Agents, and Business Associates.
Where is your start-up based out of? Why do you think that is the best place for you? Our start-up is based in Baroda (Gujarat). After the survey we did in the local market as the first workshop we developed was in Baroda and there was a huge potential for the services that we provide in the automobile market. More so the local public of Baroda are major of service (Job) class and does not have spare time to service their vehicle. After the success of our first workshop, we developed the entire chain in an around the city and today we are very successful to develop the same in entire Gujarat.
As a start-up founder, what are you paranoid about? What keeps you awake at night?
Also if there is a competition it is only limited to a private business and the model that they provide is very costly as compared to our business solutions.
How hard is it to have a work-life balance as a startup founder and how do you manage it? It is always difficult for a businessman to balance work and life not only start-up but a good old businessman also because one of the factors of key success of any business\businessman is the availability to the internal and external customer. But we as a team are able to give equal justice to the family and work as we plan our tasks and we have a specific entity in our team for a specific task to be performed. So the time devotion on each job is decided planned and executed very well till now.
Have you raised funding? If yes, then we would like to know the details. If no then please tell us if you are looking to raise. Currently, we are managing through our own funds.We are expecting a tie-up with MNC or leading brand. After this tie-up, we may need funding from outside.
